    Very informative sightseeing venue
On top of the bus has the best views but depends on weather and amount of jackets you have on for warmth. Offers you the ideal opportunity to hear about the wonderful sights of this marvelous old city and its historical value plus you can hop on and hop off at any time.

    Great organised company
The busses were very easy to find and well organised. Left on time- no fuss. The bus was very clean and comfy. When arriving in Florence, the bus parks a few blocks away for the centre and you walk the rest of the way which isn’t far. You do need to remember where the bus is parked for when you leave. We had a choice of a walking tour or by ourselves. We chose by ourselves as there were too many people in the walking tour for our personal liking. We were given a map to see the highlights. Pisa was the next stop and it was a fair walk from where the busses are allowed to park to where the sites are, but we knew this before we booked. Both Florence and Pisa were some of our favourite places on our holiday. Definitely places not to be missed and this company do a good job looking after so many guests.

    Don’t bother
Waste of money The bus drops you off a long way from sights and gives no indication of where to find them - it’s a joke !! Audio is the bus is shocking , literally a waste of the headphones.

Look elsewhere you may have better luck
Useless maps, poor communication of how and where to board the bus. The maps show three lines, red, blue, and green, but the signage at the pickup points show red, Blue, and yellow. The yellow route is different from the green route they advertise. We have hip on hop off in other cities to great advantage, using it to learn the highlights and then as transportation between them. That is a fool’s errand with this tour. I was able to scan a QR code at the bus stop and download a more useable map that also lets you track the buses real time. This helped but why was this not the default option when booking the tour? The hours of operation are uncertain as some of their information says it starts at 9:30 and sone says 10:30 Overall not worth the money, time or effort.

Good tour but could have been more complete
This tour was a reasonable amount of time to explore both locations. The guide did a good job of being very clear about meeting places and times. We were surprised that the guide did not give any information at all on the bus while we drove about the sites we were visiting or the area we were passing through. It would have been helpful for the guide to give info such as the need to get tickets for the cathedral in Pisa at the entrance to the area and that the baptistery was closed for a time and could not be visited.

The same music , not much information about the city, whatever little information was conveyed, unfortunately was not significant/ interesting. Not sincronised with the trip and stops.

Expensive, far away from the visiting places, and to be honest you can get to the most places on foot. Long waits on the bus stops. Not really friendly personnel

    Italy trip
Lots of nice things to see, but they were short on the hop on hop off busses, so we did not get off the buss and explore. I understand the top of the tour, to go walk up the hill and see the nice views.

Company is Taking advantage on tourists
    1) before you get into a bus, you have no clue where is the bus stop and what is the schedule. There is no schedule online, I spent 40 mins to find it I needed to stand under the rain with 5 years old child and wait, even without being sure that the bus will come 2) the next day when I wanted to continue the tour since tickets is valid for 24 hours, they told I can't use my barcode, only the white recipt that I was given a day before. I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT BEFORE!!! Also we live in a digital world and if I bought tickets and spend $35 and I do have the QR code in my email. It's ridiculous to require some printed small piece of paper that was given in the dark in the rush in a bus, and of course, was thrown away with all the garbage from the pockets. So I needed to buy ticket again, additional €20 for nothing. Of course, it created an impression that hop-on-bus-company makes money off of me in the most ugly way, taking advantage of the fact that I am a tourist

Great value for money and highly recommendable
Excellent value for money. The buses came around to the stops rather punctually and as advertised and the staff was helpful and approachable. We did all four tours, blue, yellow, green and red and enjoyed them even on a rainy day. The commentary is informative and mostly in sync with the sights and the audio system worked well. If you are in Milan for a few days, we recommend you take the three day ticket, certainly easily worth its money. We enjoyed this experience a lot.

    Fantastic day trip from Florence
Fantastic trip round Tuscany, starting with Pisa and finishing up in beautiful Siena. We had a lovely guide Barbara who was so helpful and informative and our driver for the day was Alessandro. Lunch at the winery in Chianti region was delicious and paired with very good quality wines. A long day but worth it, highly recommend!

We got the most out of the tour as we could. Unfortunately, the audio did not match with what we were seeing the majority of the time. It is quite possible it was just because of the traffic preventing the driver from getting to the next stop. Overall, we still enjoy the ease of touring a new and large city in this manner.

Having done many sight seeing tours over the years in various countries this rates as the poorest. Buses are very infrequent. There are 2 different lines which take in different parts of the city. One line (line B) was a mini bus so that it could fit through the narrow streets, but at busy times there just isn’t enough seats to accommodate all the passengers, so you would have to wait a full hour for the next bus. Route A is the usual double decker. The commentary on both buses was really poor. Hardly any information for such an historical location and the some of the same commentary is repeated on both bus routes. There is also lots of music and blank silences throughout the 1 hour journey for each bus. It cost us €25 per person (for the 24 hour pass). Would not recommend this tour as good value for money or very informative. To be honest Verona is quite a small city and most of the landmarks are easily within walking distance of each other!

We strongly advise against booking this in advance. We bought 48 hour tickets in advance for 5 people and on the first day we were unable to board a single bus despite multiple attempts. A complete waste of money and, worst of all, we wasted precious vacation time waiting for buses that arrived full. The buses are infrequent and do not have sufficient capacity for the volume of ticket sales. No response from the company when I emailed to explain the problem

This probably has to be the worst we've been on in Europe. It's expensive at 25 euros each for 24 hours.
There are two routes, red and blue. The red route has a double decker bus and the blue route is a small mini bus.
Verona is only a small city, but the red route takes you over the river and seems to take in quite a large area. It starts at Piazza Bra and is estimated to take around an hour.
You are given ear phones and the tour is by audio. There are 8 points of interest on the red route, one being where the bus starts and another example is the train station! It didn't seem to last an hour and wasn't very interesting. The audio is very repetitive.
Next, the blue route. A small minibus which takes in eight sights (three of which repeats of the red route). However, you do get to climb high above the city and it does stop so you can take pictures of the views for 'two minutes'.
This was a rickety old ride with nothing much to see and I actually felt a bit travel sick when we returned.
We liked the look of the castle, so we jumped on the red route again and got off at Castelvecchio. It's a lovely area with some great restaurants and shops. However, walking around the streets, we came out at the market which is literally 5 minutes walk from the arena! We didn't realise we were so close to the centre after a 20 minute bus ride!
Overall, expensive ride when you can walk the whole city comfortably in a day. There are not as frequent as other cities. Audio very repetitive and the minibus raced around the route.
I would recommend walking and spending the money on a nice meal.

The info both on website and on bus stands(when you can find them) is so bad. Wandered around to find bus stop. Waited 40 mins for bus that didn’t exist (although on internet timetable), then the bus that does arrive isn’t the line I wished for, so another 15 min wait at the next stop. Bit too hungry and hot to enjoy the tour now☹️

Great way to see the city in a short space of time. My earphones didn’t work on the second bus but I just sat back and enjoyed the view. Probably need more than a day to fully see everything as there’s lots to take in. Beautiful city.

Poor value for money. Limited amount of info provided. Lengthy periods of music. Less than an hour each circuit and poor timekeeping. Very lengthy wait for overdue bus so wouldn’t recommend compared to other cities.

Verona is a compact city, surrounded by the old city walls and river. It takes no more than 20 mins to walk from one side of the city to the other.

The hop-on, hop-off city bus tour consists of two routes, each of which run hourly. A significant part of the routes overlap, which leads to a repetitive commentary in parts of the journey.

Unless you have difficulty in walking, my advice would be to list the places you wish to see and walk. This is the poorest city tour I have experienced and I would suggest you could spend your €20 better.

There are two routes for the hop on hop off tour but the one ticket covers both. We found it ideal to stay on for the one hour round trip to see the sights before going around a second time to hop on and off at the stops we wanted to see. Well worth the ride. The second route is on a smaller mini bus, probably needed as it travels down narrow streets compared to the big double decked red bus.

There are 2 tours you can undertake on your ticket and both are very interesting and highly recommended. My only criticism is that there are NO 48 hour tickets but only 24 hour tickets in Verona.Normally when we have used CitySightseeing buses in other cities there are always 48 hour tickets available which works out much cheaper if you want to use the bus over 2/3 days.Unfortunately we had to pay FULL price EACH day we were once the 24 hour had elapsed. Why don't they provide 48 hour tickets in Verona?
