About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Sightseer474421335260 contributionsValentina and Carla helped made our Venice trip fantastic! We highly recommend this tour.Carla from Pinocchio made the booking process easy and seamless. Valentina, our guide from Doge’ Palace and St. Marks Square far surpassed our expectations. She captivated our children (9, 13, 14) with her knowledge and engaging storytelling. Her kindness shone through when our daughter grew tired—Valentina’s thoughtful gift brought a smile back to her face. In fact, our daughter insisted we leave a glowing review for Valentina! After the tour, Valentina even joined us for gelato, offering fantastic tips for the rest of our Venice stay. We cannot praise Valentina enough and wholeheartedly recommend her servicesWritten 6 August 2024
- Peter M0 contributionsSt Mark's SquareI never went on any guided tour but just went by myself as cheaper and see just as much! I could not find anything for Mark's Square so had to use this one! I first went here in 1989 and then again in June 2022. It is known as Piazza San Marco in Italian, and it is the principal public square in VeniceWritten 31 December 2022
- P H0 contributionsThe Only Way to See the Doge Palace with Kids!Lucia was the perfect guide for us. We were four adults and three children (ages 11, 11, and 9). She knew how to challenge the kids and keep them engaged in potentially dry boring material. The kids loved her. Frankly, the adults learned a lot too because she kept her comments simple and interesting for all. This was our fifth tour with "Tours for Kids" and our last day in Italy. Lucia was wonderful and e hope to see her again someday.Written 5 October 2022
- Russell P0 contributionsExcellent Family TourOur guide, Lucia, had our kids entertained and still was able to give us the history of the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica. She started off in St. Mark's Square with a scavenger hunt trying to find different sculptures and landmarks. She turned the entire tour into a scavenger hunt trying to find different symbols in artworks with varying points for each. The points were just for fun, but it even got the adults into it looking for them too. She took us through the history of the Doge's palace, the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Basilica. It was an unforgettable experience for all ages.Written 15 June 2021
- Tonisan90 contributionsWonderful tour for young childWe loved our tour of the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica with Sara. My 6 year old son had a great time with the scavenger hunt and learned a lot too. I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to interest young children in visiting these amazing historic sites.Written 17 February 2020
- RVJS0 contributionsKid’s Tour is great for everyone! Our guide was very warm, friendly, and very focused on our granddaughter. She stimulated her to engage, think, and remember. I was concerned that she might be bored with all these”ancient old things”, but that certainly was not the case. Our Guide was very knowledgeable and brought it alive!Written 10 July 2019
- Christine K0 contributionsFantastic family tourGreat communication from Enza the booking manager giving us clear information about the meeting point. We were met by Lucia, our friendly tour guide who was great with the kids. Our tour consisted of just 8 people (2 families). The children were given a sheet with pictures of landmarks to spot and were given treats at various points to keep their enthusiasm going. We arrived at the pizza bakery within 15 minutes and the pizza was traditional Venetian pizza (delicious). Lucia was very knowledgeable and engaged the children (and adults) extremely well. She brought the history of Venice alive in a very accessible way for all ages. At the end of the tour, she offered to give any hints, tips or advice for our next adventures in Venice. Well worth the money!Written 6 April 2019

My daughter, 10 years old, and I signed up for a family tour in Venice! Frederica took us to some very interesting spots and was able to tell us so much more about Venice than if we had wandered about on our own!
She was great with my daughter-- she gave her points for remembering historical things she had told us earlier-- and for a number of points, she got a surprise! My daughter really paid attention!
Well worth the money and Frederica was wonderful with kids!
