Don’t miss this tour with Vanessa!
Don’t miss this tour! Vanessa was absolutely amazing! We loved that right away she was able to determine everyone in our groups food choices . The tour was so interesting and each stop was unique and quite informative. Vanessa’s passion to share her knowledge was a bonus. We had the opportunity to try such an array of food in each stop!

Great intro to Venice, lovely guide
Perfect way to start a trip to Venice, the tour brought us through some of the best spots in the city and gave us loads of suggestions of places to visit during the rest of our holiday. Valentina our guide was fantastic - thank you for the Gelato recommendation! -B&L

Lovely informative tour! Daisy was great!
Daisy was a wonderful tour guide! With a PhD in history, she really knew her stuff! We appreciated her knowledge of the back ways … less crowded & very informative!

Great food and so much more
Loved this food tour! Our guide Denys walked us through Venice and even shared other interesting information aside from all the fantastic food we ate. Such a lovely and memorable experience!

    Explore Venice with family.
Beautiful way to see Venice. We explored around St Mark’s Square as well as small neighborhoods off the beaten path with our native Venetian, Valentina. She was entertaining for our 8 year old granddaughter.

Vanessa, our guide, is the key to this tour!
The tour and 0laces visited were great, but the real prize of this tour was our guide, Vanessa. You MUST request her as your guide if you take this tour. Her knowledge is endless and easy to listen to. She is soooo pleasant and fun to be with. We made a friend!

    Venice, what an amazing place
We had the best time in Venice, stayed at the best spot in great little Hotel Belle Arti near the Academia Bridge. Alessandro Trabucco was the best local guide. He is passionate about his city. He got us to get all our entry tickets to the Basilica and Doges Palace from Australia before we left. That was best thing we did when we saw the crowds. Alessandro got us to front of queues as we were only 2 with him. He got staff to let us access lifts where we could. Then we had an enjoyable prosecco with him. Have no hesitation in telling everyone to use him while in Venice. We will be back again one day soon.

Interesting tour. Food offerings needs work..
We have done several food tours and this was good but not in the best. The guide, Vanessa was interesting, passionate, informative and patient. The food was good, but I felt it should have been better curated given the price of the tour. We learned alot about the Jewish Ghetto and Venice in general,

Met outside a restaurant and Denys brought us to many small establishments off the beaten path for delicious food, drink
The Jewish Ghetto and Cannaregio food and wine tour was the highlight of our four day trip to Venice. Denys is a fabulous guide and we met a group of lovely people. We had plenty to eat and drink and Denys showed us parts of Venice we would never have discovered on our own. We went back to those areas each evening after our tour and got away from the typical tourist areas. Definitely worth the price. Best of luck to Denys and team.

Jewish Ghetto food tour with a fantastic guide
This food tour was a highlight of our trip to Venice. Our tour guide, Vanessa, had a great depth of historical knowledge. And she was both kind and patient enough to field our many questions. Highly recommended!

    Great tour with Fosca!
We had a fantastic and insightful view into the history of Venice and how modern life looks for Venetians. Fosca was knowledgable about the city and was welcoming to questions through the tour. We also got some great recommendations for places to eat and drink whilst in Venice!

Denis was a lovely guide with cute jokes and very friendly. He recommended what drinks to pair, and the small beverages were a perfect size and only €2.50 instead of €3.50. Just enough to enjoy and not have too much to drink.

I very much appreciated getting an overview of cicchetta on my first day in Venice. During and after the tour, Denis gave us additional dining recommendations.

This food tour was so fun! This was my first time out of my home country and I was a little nervous wandering around on my own. I was also uncertain what kind of food or restaurants would be considered good. It was so nice to have a local person leading me around, showing me the sights and showing me really popular food. It felt nice to have someone metaphorically holding my hand while we explored the city. Not that the city felt dangerous in anyway, its just being a foreign person in a foreign place can be overwhelming and our guide, Tony was so kind and had a ton of fun information to share with us. We followed him around the city and took paths that I would never take on my own as a tourist. This trip was one of the funniest tours we took on our visit and I would highly recommend it and I would absolutely do it again!

There was a lot of walking on this tour, so be prepared for that. And the food was mostly what I would call little snacks or appetizers. So I didn't really get overly full after our little tour and I would say there's some room for dinner afterwards. But the experience was sooo fun it was totally worth it. The guide does take into consideration people who are vegetarian and there was vegetarian options at each place. Tony was also careful to ask about allergies and made sure to announce if there were certain allergens at each restaurant.

Be careful walking around and eating though!!! The seagulls WILL TAKE IT FROM YOU!!

We had an amazing time participating in the Venice Street Food Tour just now in the middle of August 2022. Our guide was Vanessa, probably the best guide both me and my boyfriend has ever met for tours/museums/etc, and been guided by. The tour was in our opinion the perfect mix between historical facts and tasting of authentic food, us being both history and food-lovers, this was a dream come true. We really appreciated Vanessa's emphasis that she wanted to tell us about the more unknown history, show us authentic food and more. We felt very safe with Vanessa, she made sure we kept in the shade when we could because of the hot weather, let us know where to find water and toilets, and was always available for questions. We got much more than we originally anticipated, both history and information from Vanessa, food, gelato and (the not originally included, but for this day complimentary) drinks, were all very much appreciated, amazing and interesting. We reminisced on this tour for days after, and agreed that it was one of, if not the biggest, highlight of our trip to Venice. Thank you for the amazing tour and for treating us so well Vanessa, we loved it and highly recommend anyone who's going to Venice to experience this either at the beginning of your stay or anytime during. :)

Pleasant guide, visited a few spots we probably would not have discovered otherwise, thought the guide could’ve shared a little more knowledge on Venice and the landmarks/ history. There were 5 food stops which was great for the price so good value, we enjoyed 2 or 3 out of the 5. The first stop was our very least favorite.

Our Tour guide Venessa was fantastic, the food however was not overwhelming and I've tasted better cicchetti. I could not say the food choices on this tour are very good and that's why I've rated it average overall. There is one exemption and that is the Cantina Do Mori which was for me the highlight of the tour. If you have time, order a small glass of wine here along with your food as the selections are great and keenly priced. Bring some water, as no drinks are provided as part of your tour. The tour around the city is fantastic and our tour guides knowledge and tips were really good, especially ordering a shadow wine, an ombre. A big thanks to Vanessa for making the tour a wonderful day out and for being very engaging from the start until the end. However, if you enjoy your food, this tour is not substantial and I did leave feeling peckish.

Our tour guide Denys was very friendly, knowledgeable and inclusive!
The restaurants were unique and with a bit of history, as well.

The company itself was also great and very accommodating. Dani was wonderful scheduling us in an alternate trip when we couldn’t make our original booking.

I recommend this tour to anyone seeing Venice for the first time or returning, as it was a great way to explore different parts of the city and eat like a Venetian!

The guide was wonderful and from the beginning took charge of the 12 people from various countries. Meandering through the streets of Venice on a Saturday afternoon and enjoying the same traditions, and food, that locals did was very enlightening. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about the differences between Venetian and traditional Italian food.

We arrived at the assigned meeting place easily and met our wonderful guide, Ana. We set off on time in a lovely sized group. Ana gave us an excellent account of street food traditions in Venice while also informing us on historical aspects of the city. She also painted a picture of what it's like to live in Venice today.
We had several stops where we sampled some delicious food. Some of these places we wouldn't have known existed bit for the tour. Ana was generous with her attention and time, with the tour running over but Ana didn't rush us and happily answered in the detail all questions posed.
I completed the tour with my 2 teenage children, one of whom has a severe peanut allergy. Ana and the different food outlets were extremely accomadating and above all, Ana was very kind to us. She made my children feel so well taken care of.
We did the tour on the first morning of our stay and it was most definitely a huge highlight of our trip! Thank you Ana!

Vanessa was absolutely wonderful! She took us to great places, food was phenomenal and stories she shared about the city, its history and traditions showed how much she knows and loved Venice! Make sure to take this tour as early as possible during your stay because she will give you tips and places to visit (have meals, shop, etc) are fantastic

We met Neele our guide and we’re taken on a walking food / history tour in the city away from the really packed areas. It was interesting and we had lots of traditional foods to eat (don’t eat breakfast before you go!!) Neele made the tour informative and fun and she was interested in making sure we enjoyed it.
