- jenny w00You must do this in VeniceIncredible. This is a must do in Venice. The music was transporting and not and experience you would have anywhere else.
- marcusg42000Good entertainment - an enjoyable concert. This is very much a tourist experience of music in Venice but the nine piece orchestra are tight and more than competent. The lead violinist is excellent and highly skilled. The programme was based round The Four Seasons but there were other pieces too, including a beautiful Canon by Pachelbel. Worth noting there are limited loo facilities and the interval is no more than a chance to stretch legs.
- Journey2068503030400They were phenomenalI thoroughly enjoyed the performance tonight. Well done. One of the best four seasons performances I have heard so far. Thank you
- KEVIN C00The Four Seasons ConcertThe build up was professional, all staff very attentive, well turned out and polite. Music was exceptional, well orchestrated and beautifully performed, an absolute joy. Small comment, the line for the w/c’s seemed excessive!
- alexandracU2890CN00Amazing performanceAbsolutely worth seeing. Incredible talent. Also, the staff was very helpful and accommodating for my family member who is physically disabled. Unfortunately the building is not wheelchair accessible and may not be accessible for others.
- DesRB00A pleasant evening, but not really a professional concert. The Musici Veneziani Four Seasons concert in the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro (near Rialto Bridge) provided us with a pleasant evening of baroque chamber music played by musicians in colourful period costumes. The beautiful hall was packed, and it is obvious from all the five-star reviews that most audiences really enjoy this ‘show’. So don't let me dissuade you from going; you will probably enjoy it. However, if you are a regular concert-goer or classical musician, you will realise that the quality of the musicianship, apart from the soloist, is very ordinary – good amateur level, but certainly not professional expertise and not played with very much true passion. For much less money, you can find other places in Venice to hear professional, passionate, and wonderful musicians playing baroque music on priceless baroque instruments. You will immediately see the difference! Musici Veneziani is primarily a money-making enterprise designed for tourists, but not a professional concert for classical music lovers. It is important to realise this in advance so that you will not be disappointed. Also, audience members were not provided with any details of the performers - not even their names! Professional musicians would certainly not have performed without some acknowlegement.
- 447barryk00Add music to the sights of VeniceBe sure to add this event if you’re in town 2 or more nights. It will take you back in time and add the feeling of Venice at its cultural height. Talented musicians showing their stuff! Nice selections. Seats a little uncomfy for 1.5hrs. Pay for the rows 4-12 and get there early they fill up. Then have a gelato or some wine at a table near Rialto after.
- Y7227CTroberta00An evening of cultureAmazing show with incredible musicians. I am not a classical music fan and loved every minute of this.
- Chris R00Extraordinarily talented musicians! My first experience at a performance such as this. I was astounded at the skill and precision of the musicians. Well worth a visit
- Paradise75145900SuperbSupurb!! Highly recommend!! Would love to go again!! Very talented musicians and loved their costumes!
- suzannejX8450XU00A step back in time.A few hours out for the Hussite & bustle of Venice- What a special experience, extremely talented musicians all dressed in beautiful baroque period costumes. A group of 8 we all enjoyed the 2 hour performance. Some members of the audience were also dressed in the same style - we agreed we would have participated had we known. Worth noting that there are no refreshments on sale here.
- michaelwolfe20000Amazing violin.Great concert. I attend many musical events and I have never seen the violin played with such skill. Excellent evening.
- Patricia W00Veneziani Vivaldi Sept 2023The lead violinist was spectacular. The entire ensemble was magnificent and the costumes were a nice touch BRAVO !!!!👏🏽
- lisarG7426UH00Mixed reviews of this performance. Shame on some of the performers. As a professional orchestra musician myself I was both impressed and dismayed by this performance. I was impressed because the performers, including and especially the soloist, were superb. I was, however, quite dismayed by the behavior of the violist, bassist, and harpsichordist. These three ladies rolled their eyes at each other, grimaced, and shook their heads when the audience applauded between movements. While I understand that conventional concert etiquette dictates that applause be held until the end of the composition, there is nothing wrong with an audience showing appreciation any time during a performance. Moreover, audiences from previous centuries often applauded (or protested) any time during performances, so applause after (gasp!) a first movement, for example, would have been accepted and appropriate. Is it any wonder that the general public is afraid to attend classical music performances? Shame on these three musicians for being unprofessional and ungracious. The soloists, first violinist, second violinist, and cellist behaved much better. The soloist even showed gratitude to the audience. I also would have appreciated a prompt start time, rather than a 15 minute tardy commencement. I hope that someone from the ensemble or the TripAdvisor Booking department reads this and learns something.
- Nelliebelly500The music was wonderful! The music was wonderful and the setting awesome! It was a magical few hours, totally engrossed in the music, such talented musicians.

This is a must see attraction that runs for 90 minutes. The sheer professoinal talent displayed by the singers who perform their pieces with utter professionalism but also with a storyline marked more with gestures of innuendo that leave you with a sore face from non stop smiling throughout.
Such performances of famous pieces arouse the spirit in a visual and audio treat that is complemented by costumes fit for the age of the compositions.
The character displayed by the artists are impossible to describe in writing but only by the non verbal communication that will leave a lasting impression of mischief and self confidence by the actors.
A very very memorable night that made venice authentic indeed.

Amazing standard of musicianship an a very engaging show, with the performers enjoing it as much as the audience. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, especilally those in two minds; it's very accessible, the music is brilliantly entertaining (you don't need to be a classical music/opera buff) and the concert is not too long - with a short break in the middle. An absolute highlight of my time in Venice. Thank you!!!

We'd been to a different performance of Vivaldi's Four Season on a previous trip to Venice in a different location (Interpreti Veneziana at Chiesa San Vidal) and it was wonderful.
We had never been to a live opera and this seemed a good opportunity to sample several of the most famous arias. It did not disappoint. The location, as with San Vidal is fabulous. The musicians in their baroque finery we're stunning and the music/singing was very lively and the inter-acting witty and clever. It was all over too soon and I really recommend you try this even if you're not sure about opera.

It was wonderful to listen to some of Opera’s “greatest hits” while on vacation in Venice.
The location was beautiful and because it was a small venue, it made the experience even more special.
We were with some people who had never been to opera and they thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The performers definitely played to the crowd making it more enjoyable for all.
Highly recommend!

It was an excellent evening. The signers were interacting with spectators and apart from music and the incredible singing, the crowd had a laugh. It was amazing! Lived every bit of it. I came with my relatives, who had never been to opera or classical music concert and they loved it too! So it is trully an experiense for everyone. If ever in venice again, I will definitely come again.

Exhilarating, enthralling, reinvigorating, world-class, happy and mesmerising artists.
The costumed opera was the cherry on the cake of 3 wonderful days in Venice, contrasting nicely with our saturation with visual art in the biennale.
The smiling and mutually supportive musicians brought all the pieces to life and the programme fitted together seamlessly into a confection of delight!
I would highly recommend this to all.

This experience was incredible. All the performers were AMAZING, especially the tenor singer. The costumes were beautiful and really added an extra touch to the experience. The length of the show was perfect— not too long or short, and the song selection was fantastic, I loved everything I heard! The venue is a small hall, but it’s amazing to hear the voices alone fill the room. It is a very intimate and beautiful experience, I loved every part of it! Definitely a highlight of my trip to Venice!

Great concert! Music is very nicely played, the singers are awesome (alone and together) and the whole ambiance from entering the building to leaving is just great. Amazing costumes too. It was our first opera type of concert and we really enjoyed it.

We really enjoyed the performances! The venue is stunning too.
The BIG down side was people using phones to take pictures and even videos… so off putting, I just wish people would relax sit back and enjoy the whole show instead of concentrating on photos ! Holding up phones and obscuring peoples view is simply unacceptable. Phones should be banned!

We were in Venice for a few days and came across this event completely by accident and so glad we did. The performance was outstanding. Whether you know anything about opera or not but like music and to be entertained, don't miss it. The singers/ actors plus the orchestra are exceptional. We also went to a Vivaldi concert of La Quatre Saisons. Again, the musical ensemble surpassed expectations.

I don't recall the time it actually began. I think around 8:00 in the evening. I will tell you the line to get in started well before that and it would be a good idea to get there early to ensure a good seat since it is not reserved seating.
