Overview

Wondering what to see during your time in Milan? This small-group tour makes it easy to explore. In the space of a single day, visit the UNESCO-listed monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie, see Leonardo Da Vinci’s iconic Last Supper, discover the Sforza Castle, and explore other top landmarks, from the Milan Cathedral to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. With an art historian guide, you’ll also learn the stories behind the masterpieces.

What to Expect

This small-group tour begins when you meet your guide at the centrally located Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. From there, it’s a quick stroll to the monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie, a 15th-century landmark and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy skip-the-line privileges when you venture inside to explore and to see Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper fresco: one of Italy’s most famous works of art.

Next, continue onwards to the Sforza Castle before following the Via Dante to the Piazza Dei Mercanti, now a busy public square and once home to a bustling medieval marketplace. During the tour, you’ll also see popular city landmarks like the Scala Theater, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the Milan Cathedral.

As you explore, your art historian guide will share the stories and the history behind the landmarks, and will provide audio headsets when necessary. The tour concludes conveniently in the city center.
