Our guide Sara was wonderful and very thoughtful. She went out of her way to make sure everyone in our group of 8 was comfortable and having a good time. She also went out her way for food restrictions and ensuring those with special dietary requirements felt included. The food was delicious and plentiful so come hungry! Today a group of 12 shared a food walking tour guided by Sarah. Our group included folks from Chicago Ill, Midland On, Tiny On, North Bay On & Ottawa On. We had an awesome time. We all left very full. Sarah speaks excellent English and was a complete delight to explore with. On one occasion she even gave her Mother a call to provide us with some additional information. The exciting part for our group of 5 was finding the meeting point. Sarah was contacted by phone and she guided us to her location. Definitely an excellent adventure.

I would thoroughly recommend the food tour of La Spezia. Sara was an excellent guide - talking us through the history of La Spezia as well as explaining how the food we ate was prepared. Come with a big appetite - there is so much food provided!! We went to 5 different restaurants to eat - from a pizzeria to eat traditional Farinata to sitting on the Marina eating Fritto Misto (an assortment of fried fish and shellfish). From the moment we met Sara she felt like a friend and was so enthusiastic about La Spezia and wider Liguria. A must if you're interested in food culture!

The tour with Sara was really special. Both of us shared our personal stories regarding culture, food, music and language. The food portion is very generous and you will get to eat where the locals dine. You would learn about the history of la spezia and the culture through Sara's food tour within 3.5 hrs! Your time spent with her would be worth it!

A great experience with an amazing guide, I definitivt recommend everyone to take this tour in order to get an authentic food experience from La Spezia!

Our group was a friendly mix of couples from Canada, Bulgaria, and the U.S. We were escorted by lovely Sara who shared insights and facts about the town and area while we walked from one dining venue to the next. The conversation was relaxed and informative. The food was good and most likely items we would not have otherwise tried (except for the gelato).Highly recommend this experience!

First off, this experience was incredible—not only for the delicious (and abundant) food, but also for the ability to learn about the city of La Spezia and local Italian life and customs. Also, You will NOT leave hungry. Seriously. The selection of food was diverse and we ate dishes we would not have previously even known to order. But we were glad we did! The core of the experience really comes down to the person guiding the tour and our guide Sara was a rockstar! She is very, very knowledgeable (she grew up in La Spezia and speaks great English) and is really down-to-earth and made the experience really fun. We’re from the States and this was our first trip to Italy. Whike we were enjoying the food, we were able to have a lot of fun conversation and discussion about the area and really enjoyed being able to ask about local customs and other tourist-y things (i.e. visitor do’s and dont’s we were too afraid to ask other locals). Sara’s insight was beyond beneficial and made us wish we would have done this tour first before doing any of our other sightseeing. And I’m still full thinking of all the food haha. Don’t miss this tour!

Our local guide Sara knew the cuisine and the culture of her home town and gave us a real taste of La Spezia in five courses over 3 hours. She was quite fluent in English and took an interest in the members of the tour. We were given preferential treatment at each restaurant and the walk through the town was full off history snippets. We stayed in La Spezia and booked the Tour Do eat better . Our tour guide was Sara . She was excellent and taken us on a wonderful experience to 5 different places to try local food and wine . We discovered the beautiful town walking and chatiing to her from one place to the next . The food was simple and just delicious . On top of that Sara told us many things about the area and gave us very helpful informations . We really enjoyed her company on top of that highly recommended food experience tour . Firstly, the trip is excellent, you must be ready to eat as you are certainly going to eat, a lot! A great way to start your vacation in La Spezia, please do it just as soon as you can after you arrive. Our guide, Sara was fantastic. Being a UK resident,our language skills, embarrassingly so, are poor. She is a fluent English speaker, who answered many questions. In all, the trip was so beneficial, not only from being able to eat unique food but also getting an insight to the special town of La Spezia. Frying Scotsman.........
