We did the full day tour of Subiaco and Monte Cassino. This was the highlight of our trip. The Church/cave of St Benedict at Subiaco was above and beyond my expectations, our guide also managed to get us into sections which are not normally seen. We also visited the monastery of St Scholastica which was not originally included - again our guide could see this was of great interest to us and changed the original itinerary to suit. We had a delicious lunch and then went onto Monte Cassino, again an unbelievable structure. Elissa was our guide, she was very well educated about the life of St Benedict and the historical importance of all three places. She delivered a fantastic tour, enough information yet not too much. We were picked up from our hotel, the tour was just my husband and myself so very individual which was appreciated. There were a couple of changes, minor, due to car issues with the company but these were communicated very well and did not affect the trip at all. I would highly recommend this trip. A wonderful day with Stefano (driver) and Maria Theresa (guide) as well as Christina (guide in Florence). The care and attention to ensure we had a great experiences was really appreciated. Whilst it is a long day as the tour was from Rome it was a great taster of Florence and Pisa, especially if you have limited time.

Our guided tour of Cascia and Assisi with Maria Teresa was excellent. We felt very comfortable with our driver and our tour leader. They made every effort to ensure we enjoyed our time. We stopped at a few different places related to the life and history of St Rita which my mom was particularly interested in. Then we had a beautiful lunch at a restaurant selected by the tour leaders, we never would have found this restaurant on our own. We also received a guided tour of the Basilica of St Francis in Assisi by an extremely knowledgeable guide. This tour was of great value and we would do it again!

This was an excellent tour of Cascia and Assisi. Amanda was our very friendly guide who provided a lot of information about each stop. We had Andrea as our dedicated tour guide for Assisi, who we met at the gates and showed us around the city and church. They dropped us off at a nice local restaurant for lunch. Amanda and our driver Claudio were very generous with their time to give us a chance to see everything we wanted. It was a very nice tour and I would recommend it as a way to see these sites.

This was my second tour with Italian Dreams - and it was as excellent as the first tour with them. Theresa and Claudio, our guide and our driver, were kind, conscientious, attentive, and helpful. Theresa was delightful as we made our way into the mountains heading up to Subiaco and then over to Monte Cassino. She helped make this tour memorable. Theresa was also very accommodating as sometimes walking is a bit difficult for me. Being able to visit both sites where St. Benedict lived was a highlight of my time in Italy and Theresa helped make this even more special. I am so grateful to Italian Dreams for making this tour possible.

This was such a wonderful tour! Our guide Theresa and driver Claudio were professional, kind, friendly and accommodating to our needs. Theresa arranged for a wonderful walking tour of Florence with a very courteous guide, John, and got us into the Accademia Gallery. John was such an excellent tour guide as we walked through the streets of Florence. The time in Pisa was also well worth it. Theresa gave us time to explore the Cathedral and Baptistry and was on hand to give us the history and current information about the Tower. We received first class service and I was highly impressed. One thing that absolutely helped was Theresa translating for us - she facilitated everything so well! They did so many small things that made a huge difference - I will never forget their kindness to us! This tour was a highlight in our trip to Italy.
