    A must do experience
A visit in the past that you cannot find anywhere else. The audio guides are very helpful to understand and to imagine how the Stadio looked and was used by the Romans. Great visit!

Interesting first hand expirience of sports and life in the Domitian era
Visiting the Stadium of Domitian was an unforgettable experience! Walking along the ancient Roman walls, I felt a deep connection to the past. The grandeur of the structure, though partially in ruins, is still awe-inspiring. I loved imagining the athletic events that once took place here, surrounded by such history. The site offers a unique glimpse into Rome's imperial era, and the atmosphere was truly remarkable. Highly recommend this for anyone interested in history, sports, or simply soaking in the ancient ambiance of Rome!

    Highly recommend!
Audio tour was excellent and very informative. I loved the recreated models and 3D renderings of what the stadium would have looked like. Was not crowded at all, seems like not many people know about this

    Great for kids and adults
This self guided tour was unbelievable! We had a group of four adults and two children. The kids ( 5 and 8) loved their tour! The voice was not only informative but highly engaging! Our 5 year old wanted to go through the tour again once she finished!

    Interesting tour
Very informative audio self guided tour. The displays we interesting and the staff attending were helpful. We had a little trouble finding the actual entrance even though it was next door to the emergency exit. It wasn’t clearly marked

    Underground Adventure
If you are interested in stepping back in time and experiencing some hidden history of Rome this is a fun place to visit. It’s a self guided tour with a headset. You will go to a wide open space underground (ok for those of you who are claustrophobic) to learn about the many uses of the Piazza Navona. They have a super cool virtual tour headset that makes you feel like you are there (extra 4 Euro). They have ruins, fascinating stories to tell and a video to watch. It took us about 90 minutes to go through and was a fun unplanned adventure.

    Fantastic Roman attraction
What a fantastic exhibition, we stayed near the Piazza Navona and this was probably one of our favourite tourist attractions, the audio guide is the best of all the attractions that we visited, really easy to use and very informative, so glad the piazza wasn’t completely destroyed in the 1930,s as planned.

This site includes the underground aspect of the stadium, it cost me €15 which I pre-booked before heading to Rome. I noticed some people just turning up and buying tickets on site just before the start.
It included an audio guide of the history of the stadium. Then they take you out of the site across the top of Piazza Navonna and into another building so you can access the underground where the audio tour continues. It was nice to get out of the heat of Rome for an hour!

It was very amazing to see what the area of the Stadium of Domitian looked like. The archeological extracts are very interesting to see. The videos that the play with the guides are very informative and help you learn about what happened here. I’d recommend it to anyone who went and it only takes about an hour to do so.

Had I understood more of what was involved, I wouldn't have paid the extra for the Exclusive audio tour. For me, personally, there is little interest in the excavations into the medeaval houses under Piazza Navona, there wasn't that much to see anyway. But the excavations down to the ground floor of Domitian's Stadium, the basic audio guide tour, was fabulous and more than came up to hopes and expectations. The audio guide was very interesting and informative. I would absolutely recommend the basic audio guide.

The entry was not delayed and the visit included a route with an audio guide. The time available is 60' (40' for the western part of the hemicycle and 20' for the eastern part of the hemicycle) but it is sufficient to view all the parts without long stops.
Particular tour that makes us understand with drawings, models and representations how Piazza Navona was in antiquity.

We did the exclusive entry/tour and it was disappointing. The exhibits aren't explained very well - the audio is poorly done and they place art or items for sale amongst the ruins, perhaps in an effort to make it more interesting. After seeing the main exhibit, the "exclusive" tour included a short walk across Piazza Navona to another small excavation. The person who escorted us to the second location barely acknowledged us, stormed across the piazza pointed vaguely to a stairway and then left us. Again, the information provided was poorly done and there's really nothing to see. When we finished the same person took us back across the piazza and I doubt he would have noticed if one of us was left behind. There are so many amazing archeological sites in Rome but this is not one of them...skip it.

Simple and interesting audio guide. In addition to the remains of the Stadium we appreciated the many historical news and curiosities proposed by the explanatory panels. A little disappointing the virtual reality experience, to be paid for separately, although at a low cost

A bad experience. The tour is with audio-guides. Unfortunately our visit was at the same time of another noisy activity (Prize for the best salami!) which was allowed to take pace during the normal opening time of in a space in the middle of the monument. People from this event were shouting and clapping all the time and made our visit impossible, as one could hardly hear the audio guide. When I complained with the director of the site he could only propose to wait a couple of hours, so that the attendants of the best salami prize would be away for lunch break. That was what we did but is frankly unacceptable. Besides we found that the best part of the visit is the second one (the underground of the French School).

This is a great experience in Rome, I highly recommend it to everyone, they include an audio guide in multiple languages which makes it super easy to follow along. Although one request the videos could have English subtitles to help understand it a bit more.

All in all a great place, one of the hidden gem’s of Rome
