Our tour guide Giovanna was amazing. Very informative and taught our children some great facts about the history of both Ancient Rome and the colosseum. We would also like to thank Antonio, for helping us find the tour group by communicating via what’s app and phone. He also called our hotel to request a copy of our passport photo for I.D as you need it for such tours and my wife left hers at the hotel. Without it, you can’t get inside so thank you for going beyond the call.

The tour company didn't receive the confirmed ticket for the tour and I missed seeing the colloseum with my partner . I travelled all the way from Australia after waiting 20 years to see it and the only booking was that one on my last day in country. And I missed it . I will never use trip advisor again. Thanks

The muster location was easy to find with the instructions provided online. The guide was very knowledgeable and I appreciated that she brought additional visual aids to help explain things. The art and architecture was beautiful. The only drawback was the guide’s strong accent made it a little hard to understand everything.

I didn't go as the trip was cancelled so have to say was not impressed. Am not going to review a trip that was cancelled!!!!

Tour listed "inclusions" and guide said that was misleading because this other places (Roman forum for one) were free and we could just visit those ourselves. The tour was very basic...could have saved money by just booking and going ourselves. Normally I love having a guide--and even find it necessary. Not in this case. The headphone/audio system was so crappy--could not understand anything that was being said because of all the static. Unless you were able to stand right next to the guide you couldn't hear/decipher what was being said

Meeting point is always confusing when you’re in a new place, the first guy was very kind about being a couple of minutes late. The main tour guy seemed to be very disconnected about the keen people who had paid to learn about this amazing place. Overall he came through eventually, short and sharp with a side of humour on such an historic place. Great to go in the last tour of the day, as we got access to the rest of the Colosseum on other levels. (Sneaky).

What a wonderful way to do the tour without fuss and waiting in the extreme heat and Long long lines. Giovanna was our guide and so very knowledgable friendly and funny. It was such a waste of money. I really paid the $200 for 4 people to avoid the lines and get a good tour. NOBODY is allowed to skip the lines any longer and the guide was boring.

We had Manuela as our tour guide and she was wonderful. Funny and very knowledgeable. Leading up to our booking, the company communicated well by updating us and sharing specific meeting location (with pics) through WhatsApp, this was very clear and helpful. We started a few minutes after the booked time, so if you’re late, good luck trying to catch up. Given you’re with a group guide as well, there wasn’t a wait for us to enter. You go through all the upper floors of the Colosseum with the guide and learn about the history. As the guide finishes near the exit stairwell, you can stay as long as you want and get to go to all the lower floors as well (EXCEPT the dungeon/arena floor, that’s a different ticket). Great to have the rest of the ruins in that area included as well for self touring all day.

Hardly walked around rim at top, lost group for most of tour. We were told we could use the restroom inside, so we did and then lost the group and they did not share where they were going.

Worth it to skip the insane queues. The tour guide Giovanna really made me appreciate the place even more :) A bit on the pricier side though.
