          Great Way to See Rome
The tour was great! It was really hot while we were in Rome and it would have been impossible to see everything without the golf cart. Max had lots of information about the attractions we saw, as well as many facts about Rome from the perspective of a local. He had maps and pictures of what the areas looked like at different times, and overall it was a really thorough and interesting tour! He was a good guide and gave us some options of how we could do the tour.

          Tour of Rome
Max Leotta is an extremely knowledgeable and dependable tour guide. He picked my granddaughter and me up promptly upon our arrival at FCO and gave us a half day of seeing historic Rome and delivered us to our hotel. He then met us the following morning for a personal tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St Peters. He is extremely professional and also quite charming. After a day of free time he then furnished transportation to our ship in Civitavecchia.

Fabio Leotta limousine service and driver -Amazing service and dependable
We have used this service twice already. Once 4 years ago with my husband and two kids and this year with just my husband. We use his service were he picks us up after our cruise in Civitavecchia and driving us to the airport. Used him to get tickets to the Colosseum and drive us around Rome His drivers are all great and are polite, knowledgeable and most of all dependable. Cars are clean and upgraded and comfortable. He couldn't meet us at the port himself this time but caught up with us at our hotel to touch base. He is someone I will recommend to friends and family. Try his service , you won't be disappointed. He also responds quickly by email! leotta.fabio@gmail.com

          Fabulous time with Max!
My only regret is that it took me so long to write this. We hired Max last summer for a family of 4 with two tween boys. First of all, Max was great with the kids. We did the golf cart tour and they loved weaving down side streets and exploring courtyards and fountains. We went to the Colosseum and Max gave us an interesting tour that included lots of fun facts that kept the boys entertained. We also had a great time touring the Pantheon, St. Peter's, and the Sistine Chapel. Max showed us some work by Renaissance masters in churches along our tour as well. He is very knowledgeable and reliable and was a pleasure to spend the day with.

          Great day with Max
We were a party of 6 joining Max on his golf cart tour. We all enjoyed Max, his friendliness, his humor and his wealth of knowledge regarding his beautiful city. What a way to go, we covered so much, saw so many quaint sites as well as all the blockbusters. The weather didn't cooperate for us and in the middle of the day, rather than worry about the rain, he switched us into his mini van. He even treated us to a few special sites on the way back to the hotel. We highly recommend Max.

Excellent, time-saving tour at the Vatican!
My wife and I heard about Max through a co-worker in Philadelphia, who used him for his honeymoon. We took Max's Vatican Tour and it was great. First, we did not have to wait in the ridiculously long line to enter the Vatican Museum. We also took a shortcut into the Sistine Chapel. Max is incredibly friendly and very knowledge. He was worth every penny. If we go back to Rome, we would hire him again! (We visited in Dec. '14, but forgot to review him until now.)

          EXCELLENT TOUR!!!!
We did a 6 hour tour with Max's colleague, Val...he was absolutely fantastic. Val was great with my 84 old father...my brother, niece and myself were blow away of the knowledge he has regarding all the history in Rome. This tour was truly the highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend taking a tour with Max and look forward to our next tour together.

          BEST Way to See Rome!!!!!
This tour was highly recommended by friends and truly lived up to the hype. We did a half day tour with one of Max's colleagues, Val. It was AWESOME!!!! He picked us up at the Colosseum and took us to some of the touristy spots, and some quiet areas overlooking the city we never would have visited on our own! He was so knowledgeable, had some great facts and stories, and was fun to spend the day with!!! If we went back we would do this tour again in a second - Probably at night to see another side of the city. Thank you, Val!!!

          Fabrizio was THE BEST!
We were looking for something to do at night in Rome, and then Fabrizio rolled up in his golf cart. We had a blast. The city looks great at night, Fabrizio was full of wonderful stories and insight, and we got to go to places you can't get to on any other tour. My teenage son loved it. In fact, we had so much fun, we booked a second tour for our last night in Rome. Fabrizio gave us an insider's look at all of his favorite places. We loved it. We wish he could have come home with us, but we wouldn't want to deprive everyone else from hanging out with him in Rome. If you want to have fun, enjoy laughing until your sides hurt, and are up for an adventure, call Max and book your first tour asap. You won't be disappointed!!

Wow The Best Tour of Rome Ever
We started our tour in a golf cart and I saw and learned more in this tour than any of my previous trips to Rome. Max's colleague, Fabreezo, pick us up at the Piazza Barberini in a golf cart. Myself and 2 cousins enjoyed our entire morning going to spots in Rome that tour buses could not get in to and moving faster and seeing more than if in a large tour group. Fabreezo was funny, helpful and knowledgeable. After lunch we met up with Max Leotta and curtailed all the long lines for the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. I have a disability and Max was very helpful and knowledgeable on how to work the crowds and get me safely in and out. My 2 cousins and I did more laughing that day and learned so much that we hated to see the day come to an end. This is definitely the tour company you want to use in Rome. Max L. makes Rome memorable for the family.
We were travelling with our elderly parents in Rome. Max made the trip totally stress free by securing us the wheelchairs, navigating the lines and the crowds. He is very knowledgable and personable. We toured the Vatican City and Rome with him for two days and he was simply awesome. Went above and beyond our expectations. He is very flexible and accommodating and I highly recommend him. Max, cannot thank you enough. Hope our paths cross again. Ciao. -Rita B. Chicago,IL

First, Max was terrific to deal with, being very communicative and clear about arrangements and prices up front. Then our adult children said the tour was absolutely terrific (thanks to Austrian Airlines, my wife and I arrived too late) and continued to quote comments from their tour with Max throughout the rest of our stay in Rome and Italy.

He did a great job and I would highly recommend reaching out to Max for your next trip to Rome.

My wife and I booked two private tours with Max in May 2014 - a half day golf cart tour and an evening Vatican Museum guided tour. We found the service online and the idea of enjoying the many wonderful sights and sounds of Rome stress free on a golf cart with a knowledgeable guide seemed appealing. It turned out to be a fantastic choice.
We corresponded through emails and Max was not only prompt and helpful in his responses but also in making some excellent suggestions, like taking the Vatican Museums tour on a Friday night since the day tickets were all sold out for our travel dates. This in fact turned out to be a much better choice because it seemed that not many tourists are aware of this option yet and we enjoyed the Museums without the maddening crowd.
On the day of the tour Max arrived right on time at our hotel and we discussed and decided on a customized four hour itinerary on the spot, with Max providing his valuable inputs. Since we planned to visit the St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel in the evening, we wanted to see the other must see spots during our day-tour (the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo and the Colosseum), which we did with Max providing insightful commentary on the history and significance of each location, and then thoughtfully giving us time to enjoy the sights by ourselves. Additionally Max stopped briefly at many other unscheduled but delightful spots along the narrow cobble stoned streets of old Rome (including a wonderful open air market) which allowed us to experience the soul of the city away from the tourist hordes. The golf cart is indeed a delightful and unique way to see Rome - you can see a lot more than on foot or by a car in a much shorter time.
In the evening, Max was like a walking book of knowledge during our private guided tour of the Vatican Museum and without him this tour would not be half as enjoyable.
However, it is not because of the unique golf cart or Max's in-depth knowledge of Rome or his excellent spoken English that we would whole heartedly recommend this tour - it is because Max makes you feel like you are visiting an old friend who truly enjoys showing you around his wonderful city.

We were looking for a golf cart tour and came across Max Leotta of MyBestTour. Communication with him and setting up the tour before we arrived was prompt and professional. We had Frabrizio as our guide for the half day tour. It was so much fun having him take us to places where we probably would not have ventured into given the limited time we had in Rome. Our hotel was centrally located at the Spanish steps, so we ventured away from the usual sights and went of the beaten path, Appian Way, Catacombs, Aventine Hill, Borghese Gardens and then some. At the end of the tour, Fabrizio recommended the best pasta place for us to have a quick lunch! We highly recommend this company and the golf cart tour.

Max is an excellent guide. This is the second time we have used him. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of Rome including art and the Vatican. He also knows the best times to go to each place in order to avoid the biggest crowds. He pays attention to what his clients want and provides it to them.

Our family of four (adult children) spent three days on excursions in and around the city of Rome. Max is terrific to work with and his guides are very knowledgeable, personable and very accommodating. The full day of seeing Rome by golf cart was a highlight. This was our second opportunity to schedule tours with Max while we were vacationing in Italy and we weren't disappointed.

Max is the best tour guide we have had to date! In two fabulous and fun filled days we saw everything we wanted to see and more. He is so knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor and knows his way around. I am limited in walking and he arranged for a wheel chair and pushed me around Rome with a huge smile on his face (and probably a sore back). The second day, we took a golf cart and that was outstanding! He suggested an amazing restaurant for dinner within walking distance of our hotel and we loved it so much, we went back the next night. When we left, we said good bye to a friend, not just a guide!

Max Leotta provided the best experience for our tour of Rome! We had a wonderful time with him as he provided a full tour of the entire city. He was very knowledgeable and interesting - sharing the basic facts as welll as little know things too. Max went out of his way to provide personal service to our group and made sure we had plenty of photo opportunities at just the right places - which was really important to capture this once in a life time trip for us.

I would highly recommend Max for any tour, He was amazing to listen to and could answer any question about the City of Rome, history, etc. I know you will have the same experience. Rome is too beautiful to waste it on a large tour group where everyone follows a guide and wears a headset to listen. Max provided a great tour to our group of 5 and each one of us will cherish it forever.

Thanks Max! You are the best!

Max was very insightful and gave us the recommendation for the best pizza we had in Rome. We did a half day tour of Rome and then the next day did the Vatican, where Max was even more fantastic. We were there with our 10, 11 and 12 year old girls and he described with a book with pictures the details of Michaelangelo's works in the Sistine Chapel before we went in. It made them much more engaged and interested. Really exceptional...on top of the genius of golf carts (we saw no others anywhere) which allowed us to zip in and out of small vias as well as main streets to cover Rome quickly and thoroughly.

My husband and I had booked a walking tour whilst in Rome and my mother who was travelling with us did not wish to attend, not being able to walk long distances due to having a bad hip. I was looking for a different tour alternative for her whilst we were on our walking tour. I came across Max by recommendation from another wonderful tour guide in Rome and could not have been happier with the result. Max correspondeded immediately to any question via email in the lead up to our trip. He wanted to decide the itinerary with my mother on the day according to her preferences. He arrived at our apartment near Piazza Navona with his electronic golf buggy and off they went for four hours. He designed a great itinerary for my mother taking in major sites for excellent photo opportunities (e.g. St Peters, Colesseum) but also some of the smaller and less known places. He also took her to some wonderful churches that she would not have seen on her own, along with the beautiful orange garden, set on one of Rome's most idyllic hills, the Aventine. This view from this lovely spot, where the Romans come to relax is beautiful, with the Tiber, Trastevere and St Peters laid out in front of you. One of the photos I've included in this review is of the beautiful San Marco church, one of the smaller but no less beautiful churches in Rome that Max too my mother to on his individually designed itinerary. Max's golf buggy tour is absolutely fantastic if you want a really personalized experience, especially if you have someone in your group that is mobility impaired, or you just want to rest your feet for half a day. The little golf buggy fits into narrow streets that tour buses can't and you can cover a lot of ground in Rome. The cost of the four hours with Max on the buggy was no more than the going rate for any tour guide in Rome. He also operates on a wonderful system of trust by booking the date in advance by email and you pay him on the day. Max is highly personable with excellent spoken English language skills. He knows many of the cafes and restaurants and will stop at great places for a real local experience. Highly recommended.

We had only one day to spend in Rome and the best thing we did was to hire Max Leotta. We made a plan together, and he took to all the sights we wanted to see. He has VIP passes which brought us to the front of the queue at the Vatican and Coliseum, a great time saver. He knows all the best spots for photos, kept the family happy and interested, and had some great surprises along the way. He is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us the option of in depth or brief explanations, so our tour was customized to our interests. He is funny, friendly and professional. His driver was great as well.
