This was an incredible tour and Chiara Antonelli’s energy was so vibrant. There is so much history to the Vatican and I highly recommend getting a tour to fully immerse yourself in this beautiful place. - Cynthia

This tour was amazing! I recommend to get Chiara Antonelli. Her jokes were funny and kept everyone laughing, while keeping it professional and eventful. She had really fun facts and knowledge to share. She did her best to remember everyone’s name and felt right at home. There were restroom and coffee breaks. She was very clear about the agenda and gave us time to take pictures. I loved how she would ask questions so we understand the bigger picture and why things are the way they are. I came out of this tour with a new profound understanding and appreciation for Roma and the history of lasagna layers it has. Thailand. :)

We read the reviews on this day trip with Italia Tours and decided to book a day tour to Pompeii with a wine tasting, but I must say I was hesitant as the reviews were to good lol From the organization, communication from the operator, transportation, winery and specially Antonio our tour guide, everything was excellent and made our trip an amazing experience, despite the rainy day we had, grazie Antonio and Italia Tours!!

The trip was great! We knew a lot about Vaticano, popes and history. Nadia was the best tourist guide we've ever had :)

We are older travelers, but the tour said 18-99, so we booked. They met us when and where they said they would. Our train ride went perfectly. Our guide Vincenzo was gracious and knowledgeable. My husband felt he couldn’t complete the full tour and was kindly shown where to exit and wait. It was a challenge for me, as a slightly less than fit 74 year old woman, but I am proud to say I did it and it was worth every ache! The wine tasting and lunch were well worth it. Tasty and eaten family style with good conversation. The only down side was arriving in Rome at rush hour. What is the point of a bullet train if it takes 1 1/2 to travel from Naples to Rome and almost as long waiting outside the station for a gate to park at? Not the tour’s fault, of course. Just an observation.

This tour was amazing! We were able to skip a lot of the lines that the Vatican experiences since it started early in the day and got a ton of information about all of the sites and how it came about in a "lasagna" style fashion ---> each layer built up the history of the location. The break in the middle for lunch also allowed us to take some time to get a snack, shop and get some great photos prior to seeing the museum and Sistine Chapel. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour!

This was a great experience for my entire family . Our tour guide Felicia was fantastic. She is an Art Historian with extensive experience working at Pompeii. She was friendly & extremely knowledgeable. The winery visit afterwards was also a great experience. Great wine and food. Transportation to and from also was very good. Highly recommend this tour.

The trip was amazing and our guide was excellent. Very Knowledgeable and passionate about her job. Really enjoyed Pompeii and the high speed train was definitley the way to go. Lunch at the winery was fantastic. Cant reccomend this tour enough

This was the Vatican Museums tour. Our guide, Quara, is a very intelligent and interesting individual. She made the morning melt away with her humor and ability to quickly make the group of strangers friends.

Tour company made it very easy to travel to and from Pompeii. Train ride was smooth and bus to site was quick. Ride had great views. Our tour guide was very accommodating in answering all of our questions. It was our first time in Rome and would highly recommend the guide. Lots of walking during tour and guide highlighted sites. Guide was very knowledgeable. We were given time for gift shop before lunch. The food and service was excellent at the winery. Bonus was walking around and seeing the grounds.

Our guide Serena was fantastic! I would give her 10 stars. She was able to have the perfect pace, just the right amount of facts and story telling, and enough time to take pictures or take it all in. It seemed as if she genuinely was proud of the region and of all the discovery/preservation work of this amazing place. It is a must to have a guide when visiting the archeological site, I don’t know that we would have gotten as much out of the visit if we went at it alone (and would have 100% gotten lost). It was nice to speed up the transit from Rome traveling most of the way by train, so much more preferable than spending multiple hours in a bus. Lunch at the winery was fine, we enjoyed getting to know our tour group mates a bit more, pasta sauce (assuming winery and menu are consistent) was very good, but wine was unfortunately just ok. The limoncello was the star. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a quick almost-day trip.

The history was amazing. The tour guide was very good. The train was fast 185mph. Well worth the cost.

The tour was very good. A bit long but there is so much to see. Our tour guide Sabrina was excellent. Took her time and did a wonderful job explaining everything we saw. I would highly recommend this tour. Everything is covered in detail in this extensive tour.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. Train fab, Pompeii and guide outstanding, lunch and wine tasting excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience. Tour or Pompeii was our favorite. Literally a city frozen in time and the wine tasting experience was awesome end of the day. 100% recommend. Tour guide Antonio was knowledgeable and funny. Great directions and communication from company.
