This is the 3rd colossium tour we have taken over the years and the best one yet. Massimo did a super job and gave us great background information but also additional information that we had not heard before. He also was adept at finding spaces for us in the huge crowd present that day.

Excellent, well paced, covered all the areas i hoped for. We had a knowledgeable guide, he was very personable with excellent english.

Giorgio was an excellent guide. Very informative but also a great sense of humour that kept us entertained throughout the tour.

Some difficulties finding the prison as even the Italian employees/guide in the forum sent us to the wrong place despite me insisting it was just outside the forum not in the forum itself. It is NOT in the forum, don’t be misled. Also couldn’t download the audio guide. All that said, well worth visiting the prison which housed St Peter and St Paul before they were executed.

The tour company changed the meeting point and our entire group (who we meet at this meeting point) missed our colosseum visit. The staff were entirely unhelpfully saying their office (which wasn’t open and did not answer calls) would deal and to apply for refund from the vendor. Surely they should have had a staff member available to redirect clients - AVOID

Our guide was Niccolo A. and he was absolutely wonderfull!! He wrote a book about gladiators and has a depth of knowledge about Roman history that could inspire one to major in the subject at school. My husband and I learned so much -not just about the colosseum and the forum and the surrounding ruins but about the history of the Roman senate, Roman populous and the how the church took over and affected the ruins. He was fascinating! I’m going to buy his book because if it was half as interesting as his tour it will be worthy read. He’s an amazing guide!

The trip was good.. but it was the charges I have an issue with. We went on this trip on Saturday 08th March, which happened to be "world woman's day" and according to the authorities in Italy all trips/visits of this nature should have been free for the female visitors. Surely TripAdvisor knew this and should have charged us accordingly. Now struggling to get my money back 😠

Great tour guide who had a wide knowledge about the colesseum, the forum and the palatine hill. The tour guide has a history background which brought a lot to the tour!

App is horrible!!! Had to add a third party app, very difficult to navigate out of country. Ended up missing our appointed time.

The worst arranger ever. We paid for a guide but ended up without and did not get any money back. Reached out the the company but they could not help out.

Laura was absolutely brilliant and gave us the best guided tour around the colosseum and Roman Forum. She was extremely knowledgable and knew exactly what we would want to see and spent just the right amount of time at each point of interest. We were mesmerised by the whole experience.
