    What to Expect
This 2-hour family tour at the Vatican Museums begins at 10:15a.m. when you meet your guide outside the Vatican Museums. Look for your guide who’ll be wearing a blue polo shirt or jacket. Skip the line at the Vatican Museums, and enjoy a 2-hour tour designed especially to be kid-friendly. Pass by the Popemobile, get a good glance at Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, and learn about ancient Egypt. Your kids will love the fun facts they’ll hear on this tour, and you’ll appreciate the stories, too.

Afterward, your tour guide leaves you right outside St. Peter’s Basilica at around 12:30p.m., so you can easily use your skip-the-line access if you choose. You’re welcome to explore this Catholic church at your own pace, and either skip this attraction or stay until it closes. One you're done at the church, the rest of your day's plans are up to you and your family, of course.

We were told to request Tiffany McIver as our Vatican tour guide, and this ended up being our favorite part of our vacation! She grew up in the USA, so of course she is super easy to understand. Some of our other tours had “English...More

Our family of 5 toured the Vatican with Amil and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. 8am entry was a perfect time to start and skipping the queue was a huge bonus. Even so, the crowds were very big but Amil was absolutely brilliant at guiding us...More

We did not reserve Vatican tickets ahead of time so looked for options on skipping the lines. Although more expensive than most options, CityWonders semi-private tour was well worth the additional cost. Our guide was Valerio Durastanti and he was easy to understand and highlighted...More
