Visit to Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel.
A good option is to have your tickets ahead of the Vatican City Visits. At the Museum the lineups was very long if you don’t have a ticket. Get this done during the morning hours as we did and you will have the rest of the day to enjoy. The Museum and Sistine Chapel had breathtaking views and history and worth every bit of our time even with thousands of people in and out to take in this gem. You are allowed in certain areas to take photos, videos etc. Walk with your water and snack and prepare for a long and tiring walk around this huge building but as I said it’s well with it.

    Great tour of the Vatican
Amazing tour. Daniella G. was such a knowledgeable and personable guide. Her relationships with a number of Vatican Museum allowed us to take shortcuts so that we could navigate efficiently. This tour was well worth the cost.

    An enjoyable Vatican tour
Elaine our tour guide was super knowledgeable and easy to understand. Group size of 8 was perfect and allowed us to efficiently move thru the crowds. Appreciated the information Elaine provided on the Sistine Chapel before entered and all the information during the Vatican museum. Would happily do another tour with what a life tour.

    Exceptional tour guide.
Gabriel was the best tour guide that we could have hoped for. He was clear with communication with our group, was very knowledgeable about the tour, and did an amazingly good job keeping us all together with clear instructions on where to meet. He did a masterful job trying to locate a couple who got lost from our group. My assessment is that they went ahead of us by mistake. Gabriel made certain that we were not abandoning them. We were very impressed with Gabriel’s professionalism and the entire experience is one that I will remember for the rest of my life. What an amazing place on this trip of a lifetime. Grazie mille.

    Great Tour, but Rushed
It was a great tour overall. Our guide was fantastic, very personable and knowledgeable. However the tour was incredibly rushed. It's understandable that this is geared toward the highlights, and so seeing everything on the tour is not feasible, I wish that was made clear from the outset. Overall it was a great experience.

Made our trip to Rome amazing
A great tourguide can make or break a trip to Europe. Ours, Emma, *made* our trip to the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's. Incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and organized, Emma's commentary left us wanting to understand history as she clearly does. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

    Perfect tour of the Vatican.
We had a great tour of the Vatican and St. Peter’s. Our guide Emma was extremely knowledgeable of the site, history, and especially art history. She was witty and added some humor and found a way to show us the most important things. Emma was great and I highly recommend this tour.

    Cynthia led a fantastic tour!
Cynthia led an absolutely fantastic tour. She was knowledgeable, incredibly organized and efficient. She pointed out so many things along the way, kept the tour moving and interesting, and helped us make the most of our time there. We took our 21 year old daughter and we all felt that Cynthia gave us a phenomenal tour. We highly recommend!

My wife and I booked this tour as a way to orient ourselves to the food scene in Rome, and are so glad we did. We ended up being the only ones who had signed up for our time slot, and spent our evening dining and drinking with Marta! She was an excellent guide, with great knowledge both of the history of culinary tradition, and where great finds were! She helped us visualize the whole city at different times in history, and above all was great company. We were joking with her the whole time, and this was a lovely start to our trip to Rome!

Ciao from Rome and thanks so much for giving us this perfect review! It sounds like you had a fantastic night with your wife and Marta exploring the tastes of Rome- you sure are lucky that you had her all to yourself! You're right, she is an amazing guide with incredible knowledge about the typical cuisine of Italy and the history that goes along with it. The best part is that besides trying new things, you also get to learn more about the beautiful city of Rome. We hope you have a great rest of your trip and that you join us again soon for another tour whether that be in Rome or one of our other gorgeous Italian locations!

My husband and I booked this four hour food tour our first night in Rome and it was well worth it. All of the food was absolutely amazing and the tour guide specifically focused on the local food as the subject of the tour versus history of the area. That being said, it also gives you a chance to get grounded on your surroundings in central Rome. I believe the tour guide's name was Andrea - he was very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with for a few hours! He also gave us recommendations for the rest of our time in Rome. I highly recommend!

Ciao from Rome and thanks so much for this amazing review! We are thrilled to hear that you and your husband enjoyed our Tastes of Rome Food Tour as it is one of our personal favorites as well. There really is nothing better than tasting your way through a new city. Plus, learning the significance behind what you are seeing and eating is a major bonus- especially when you have a fun and knowledgable guide like Andrea by your side! Thanks so much for the recommendation, we would love to see you back again soon for another tour in Rome or elsewhere in Italy!

The three of us took this tour with Jasmine as our guide. There were a total of 7 of us in this tour. Great group of friendly people. Jasmine was a wonderful host informing us on the history of the neighborhoods and the regional foods. It was a great variety of foods and drinks. Abundant and delicious! Jasmine is the best and her knowledge of Rome's food and drink is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour with her and highly recommend this to everyone.

Ciao Patricia, we are so happy you decided to come along on our Roman food tour with Jasmine! It definitely is one of our favorites, and for good reason! We like to keep our group sizes small so you have the chance to interact with your guide on a personal level. The best part of this tour however, is all the delicious foods you get to try! We hope you left with a satisfied stomach after trying all of the pasta, street food, wine, and more. We hope to see you back again soon for another tour! :)

Andrea picked us up right on time in the Jewish Ghetto and showed us an amazing time on our first night in Rome. It was wonderful to try so many of the local dishes that we may not otherwise have tried on our stay in Rome. At the end of the tour, Andrea gave us other suggestions on restaurants to try that were close to where we were staying and they were wonderful. Highly recommend a food tour with Andrea (especially on your first night in Rome so you have time to try other recommended restaurants).

Hi Kim, we are so happy that you enjoyed your food tour with Andrea! Tasting Italian specialties while in Rome makes for an wonderfully memorable experience. Besides trying typical Italian pizza and pasta, you get to try so many other delicious dishes such as Jewish style fried artichokes, supplì, and cannoli. Hopefully you left with a full stomach and a happy heart! Thanks so much for writing this fantastic review and thanks for recommending us to others who may be traveling to Italy soon. Be sure to stop by for another tour soon with us soon, whether that be in Rome, Florence, Tuscany, or even Pompeii and Positano!

We were so looking forward to both our What a Life tours in Rome but due to the Covid 19 effect, we have chosen to postpone our visit to a future date as well as our prepaid tours! What a Life tours have been fantastic in advising us to take either a voucher for 100% of the prepaid fees good for 2 years or a 90% refund...their prompt and efficient service guarantees that we will look forward to both these tours again! Thank you WALT!

Amazing tour. We did this tour the last night of our stay in Rome and really wished we had done it our first. There were some many stops on the tour we would have loved to gone back to. The fried artichokes. Wow!. Andrea our tour guide was so much fun and provided great insight to the history of Rome. We will be going back to Rome and this tour will be on our list.

Loved this small-group walking tour. Our guide was so knowledgable about the food, culture and sites that we saw along the way. Having a small group (6 in all) made it personable and gave us the opportunity to get acquainted. We would absolutely do it again and recommend to others.
