About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- W8408XRpatrickh0 contributionsGreat serviceGood communication. Excellent staff support. We were late. A staff member escorted us to catch up with our group. The guide was well informed, went at a good pace, and left us time to view on our own at key spots.Written 6 October 2024
- J69BVstevenk0 contributionsEasy was from Airport to RomeEasy to find ticket station - and the train. Less than an hour ride from airport to central station Train was clean and seats comfortable Train was not overly crowded and lots of places to store luggageWritten 28 September 2024
- tomcF6702PC0 contributionsBE AWARE OF FINEWe recently took a one way train from Termini to Fiumicino- if using the ticket machine - MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DATE IS CORRECT- the ticket machine defaulted to the following day ( instead the current travel day-of what you would expect ) If you have an incorrect ticket- you will get a $64 Euro fine per ticket- so what should have been a $28 Euro fare for two cost us $156 Euro To me this is done on purpose at the ticket machine , as a cash grab BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!Written 21 September 2024

They respond to your queries on time and with flexibility to your circumstances. We’ve had a wonderful time at the Vatican, we are so grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity to see such a historic and meaningful place, thank you for accommodating us in this tour. Very very much appreciated.Written 8 September 2024
- Daz A0 contributionsCheaper than a taxi, no trafficI took the Leonardo express to the airport and it was very easy and efficient. Used the ticket machine and as it runs every 30 minutes was even able to jump unto an earlier train after checking with the staff. Today was rainy, so it was good to get directly into the airport terminal. At 14euro per adult also cheaper than a taxi plus no traffic. Clean train, useful service.Written 3 September 2024
- lmbb20230 contributionsDisapponiting & MisleadingWe felt the tour spent far to much time standing in courtyards outside the Sistine Chaple and St Peters Basilica. We were disappointed the tour did not actually take us through St Peters Basilica. We walked though the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chaple however at the end the guide took us to the door of St Peters and we were left on our own to explore.Written 30 August 2024

- reckless640 contributionsPerfect guided tourMarcus was an excellent guide with passion for what he did. I would highly recommend this guide. Please try to do this in the morning in the summer heat or in the months outside of June July and August as it has very little reliefWritten 13 August 2024
- Maps7895920 contributionsThe tour guide disappeared and we were left on our own!The tour company told us that the guide was not available and that we have to do it on ourselves. Instead of a guided tour, we were forced to take an audio tour using a device me rented, paid for, in addition to wha we paid for the tour.Written 12 August 2024

- Krystal B0 contributionsA definite NO for those with mobility concernsI arranged this tour for my husband, mother and I. My mother has some mobility issues. She is able to walk and do some stairs however we bring a lightweight collapsible transport wheelchair (that we can carry up and down stairs as needed) with us so she is able to rest when possible. We arrived at our meeting point a half hour early and met the tour guide shortly thereafter. We sat and waited for the rest of the group to arrive and also another staff member from the tour company who had a roster of everyone scheduled to be in the group. When that other staff member arrived it was almost as if she was avoiding my husband, mother and I, checking in everyone else but us. When I approached her to let her know we too were on this tour she began to tell me that since my mother is in a wheelchair we should not have booked this tour as they have other tours for those in wheelchairs. I explained that it was booked through a third party company that knew my mother had a wheelchair but we were never made aware of the fact that there was a different tour for those in wheelchairs and had I known we would have booked that. I then however went on to explain that my mother can walk and do stairs and that we would simply just carry the chair up and down any stairs we needed to as we’ve done one every other tour the past two weeks we’ve been in Italy without problem. The guide and especially the other member of their office that showed up with the roster were incredibly rude. It was clear they did not want us on the tour. The guide then reluctantly suggested that she could just give us our admission tickets (which we paid for mind you) and that we could enter with the group and then just do everything else on our own. Wanting to visit the Vatican as planned we said that would be fine. Truthfully, I am certain we enjoyed the Vatican far more on our own than we would have with the guide and group being able to see and do things as we pleased. With that being said, there is nothing about this situation that sits well with me. We sat next to the guide for over a half an hour prior to the tour starting, she saw my mother in the wheelchair but never once mentioned any concerns until her incredibly rude colleague showed up. It was as if they tried to ignore us hoping we would just go away and then completely dismissed everything I was saying regarding the fact that my mother could in fact walk and do stairs. It was clear they looked at us as a burden that they did not want on their tour. I highly discourage anyone within even the slightest mobility issues from booking anything with this company. I have travelled around the world taking part in tours with group members of all ages and agility levels and have never been experienced this type of blatant discrimination.Written 8 August 2024
- KerryM20060 contributionsEasy & Inexpensive way to travel to City CentreSurprised to read some of these reviews as we had a really positive experience. We purchased the tickets in the main airport terminal via a machine (you can select language) whilst waiting on our luggage. You just follow the yellow signs for the train station a bit of a walk but not too far away given the actual size of Rome Airport! Our ticket did not scan and another tourist was a bit rude with my daughter....like it was her fault. We missed first departure but they run regular. Ticket needs to be validated and the machine is on the platform before you board train just pop it in. It was a super busy train, but we managed to get a seat and 30 mins later were in Termini. Return journey was just as smooth. I booked them on the trainline app for £24 for 2.Written 5 August 2024

Fantastic Tour! Our guide Andrada was absolutely wonderful! She knows ancient Roman history, art and architecture, and makes history come alive with her storytelling. Andrada was very engaging and her knowledge of history and details given throughout the tour made me feel Iike I really learned a lot about the city of Rome when we were done. The tour covered many must see places such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon. To see the city at night with the statues, buildings and fountains all lit up is definately a must see! The city has another whole vibe at night and should not be missed. Andrada kindly offered to take some pictures of our group in front of Trevi Fountain which were some of the best pictures of our trip! I highly recommend this tour, as it turned out to be one of the best tours of our trip!

Andrada (sp??) was my excellent guide. She most definitely knows her history of Rome, its architecture and it's people. Her dramatic telling of the rise and fall of Rome along with the pilgrims, emperors and the influence the church was told with such enthusiasm that you couldn't help but be mesmerized. She taught me how to "spy". You'll have to take her tour to learn what that is!

Our tour guide was incredibly insightful, enthusiastic and helpful. His side commentary on local traditions helped give a more authentic feel of the city and its culture. He provided us with imagery and theatrics that transported us back into the ancient Roman time. Would totally recommend!

This was a great way to see some of Romes classic highlights and learn about the history in a relaxed way. The evening tour worked out well for us in the Summer heat and gave us respite from 100+ degrees F temps during the midday. The guide was very knowledgeable and was always willing to answer questions. Overall highly recommend this for folks who want to get a good overview of the city.

Great evening tour. As a solo traveller I was a little wary of wandering the streets by myself so wanted a knowledgable guide to show me all the great sights by night. Not a problem here. The guide Caroline was excellent. Friendly and personable. She took her time explain the history and was genuinely excited. Highlight of my trip.

We scheduled this visit for the first day we landed in Rome. It was so helpful to have this, as it helped us get a sense of the city and establish where we want to explore for our time here. Andrada was our guide and she was amazing, taking us to see many of the key bits of Rome, including the main gate, the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Panetheon (at night so couldn't go inside) but also clearly had the insight and passion to help us understand why Rome looked and felt like the way it does today. She really made the history come alive and it was an amazing and engaging 3 hours that flew by. Highly recommend this tour - it is definitely worth it.

We really enjoyed the evening walking tour. The group was small (just us and another family) and it was easy to converse with the guide and ask questions. The Guide was very knowledgeable and tried her best to provide as much info as possible. As this was our 3rd walking tour (we tried others), her information provide much gaps to help us understand even better what we learned/seen earlier as well as to grasp what she was trying to covey. She even shared the best food/gelato places along the trek. All in all I think this was time and money well-spent.

The tour was unprofessional and disorganised from the start. We were told to arrive early but inexperienced guide turned up 5 minutes before start and then tour started 10 mins late. Guide lacked historical knowledge, relying on his girlfriend who did not speak English. The tour felt rushed and lacked focus on key sites eg: Spanish Steps walked past but no time to go up steps. The guide's self-promotion of his bar was unprofessional. Most of group left early due to the unsatisfactory experience, ruining our first night in Rome.

Is there any possibility of ONE (1) place for tomorrow's tour--maybe one person has cancelled...?

We have 2 boys (8yo & 12) is this appropriate for their age! The tour said it is romantic evening walk so I don’t want to go on tour that’s just couples?
Written 23 January 2020
The other people on my tour were couples which is to be expected. I think they say romantic because of some of the history stories that go with it and the sights you see. But there’s nothing about the tour that tailors is specifically to couples in my opinion. It’s is a lot of walking so that might be the only thing to bear in mind. But the sights we were taken to at night were beautiful.

Written 20 January 2020
Is this doable on your first evening after a 9 hr flight & time change ??
Written 18 March 2019
Depends how tired you are after the flight. The tour gives you a good intro to Rome. I recently did the tour on my first night in Rome, I had a full day of travel too. The pace is easy and it's about a 3km walk, start to finish. There is a taxi rank near the end to take you back to your hotel (which is what I did.)

Meet on the steps at the church, which is currently behind scaffolding. Just worth noting it is not the twin churches, it is at the opposite side of the piazza. Hope that helps! Anna
