The next stop is one of Rome’s most celebrated pizzerias, Pizzarium. Sample multiple flavors made by the “Michelangelo of Pizza,” Gabriele Bonci, perhaps prosciutto with fig, zucchini, and ricotta, or *scamorza* with spinach. Awesome cooking class
Irene was very sweet and funny. She created a nice atmosphere, and helped if people needed it. The food tasted amazing and it was so cool to learn how to make your own pizza and tiramisu. When we ran out of ingrediens, Irene made sure that we got some new, so that there was enough to everyone.

    Amazing experience
It was a really nice experience. We got the chance to create our own pizza, and learn how it really is made. Irene was very sweet and it was nice that she was really open. That made the experience better, because you could joke and talk with her.

    A wonderful and intimate afternoon!
There were only 2 of us in my group for the tour. It was a very nice and more intimate experience with only 3 of us, including our guide Fran. Fran was incredibly sweet and had a great sense of humor. She readily and helpfully answered all of our questions about Italy and about Rome. Our tour was filled with amazing food, great wine, and lots of laughter and conversation. I would highly recommend booking this tour, and I recommend requesting Fran (if possible)!

    Amazing, definitely do it!
Did this tour with Lucy as our tour guide and it was amazing! The amount of good food and wines (and great quality too!) we had were unreal and pretty much needed to crawl home from being so full. Lucy was knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour super relaxing. Would 100% recommend this!

This was by far one of the most fun and educational aspects of our trip in Rome. As a foodie, I love to learn and explore foods of different cultures and as I thought, I knew most about the food of Rome boy was I in for a surprise! The tour itself consisted about 6 stops. The portions were not just tasting size they were full portions, which was amazing value and plus you got to get drinks as part of all of that too! Each place we visited was so warm, friendly and generous. Our host Stephanie raised the bar as she was so cheerful, engaging, friendly, and knowledgeable as she told many stories along the way. There were so many things we learned not only about the food, but also about Rome and about the history of how certain things came to be, including information about pizza, truffles, olive oil, tomatoes, and much much more!
Stephanie was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend this trip, especially with her as I think she added so much more because she not only lives in the neighborhood but she has great relationships with these vendors and they all go above and beyond what would be expected.

Make sure you go hungry because you will be absolutely feeling stuffed afterwards!

Went on the Prati by Sunset tour as a family of three on March 12, 2023 with guide Chiara and had a remarkable experience! Definitely would recommend this tour to anyone - such a great value for what you get back in food, drinks, information, history, and more! Don't hesitate to book, you will not regret it.

Booking was very simple and easy online, and we received confirmation quickly. On the day of the tour we received a text message asking if we could come an hour later than we booked, which worked for our schedule and wasn't an issue for our group but may be of concern for others if on a tighter schedule. Our group was a total of five, and we joined with a "tasting" group of about 12 others for the first hour of the tour.

All of the food selections we tried were excellent, the first stop being the most memorable for our party. We likely never would have had the opportunity/knowledge to try most of the things we ate, so this tour is perfect for anyone who wants to sample the best of the best! After the second stop we were already full, but managed to eat some more and Chiara arranged for us to be able to take our leftover pasta from the last stop home in to-go boxes.

Our tour guide Chiara was very welcoming, energetic, accommodating, and super knowledgeable about everything we tried on the tour! I appreciated that Chiara was very attentive to our needs regarding getting the order/food we want, allergies/preferences, and refilling our drinks. In addition to information about the food we were trying, Chiara also shared other fun facts and history about the city, Italian food, and her own personal experiences living in Rome. Chiara did seem a bit disengaged at times when listening to group members sharing their past/experiences in conversation, and there were a few moments that felt like we were being hurried along - but this was all likely due to the difficulty of multitasking trying to coordinate with multiple venues and it being a later tour. Overall Chiara did a fantastic job, and it is clear that she is passionate about her job (and Italian food of course!) Chiara also offered recommendations after the tour, and made sure everyone had a safe way to get to where they needed to go.

Definitely book this tour if you have the opportunity!

Went with family (almost grown-up children) and really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Giordano, was enthusiastic and talked us through a range of excellent cheeses and meats, before taking us to a great pizzeria, and then to a fabulous restaurant where we tasted more meats and cheeses, ending with pasta and tiramisu. The pace was really nice, and there was lots of wine to complement the food. It was great to taste high-quality food with lots of explanation about the source of the food, and how it is prepared. Everyone was relaxed and it was a fabulous way to meet new people and experience authentic Italian food.

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed this tour! Our guide was a lovely girl named Tina, who was very knowledgeable about the various tastings and seemed to really enjoy her job. She encouraged everyone to take their time and enjoy the food and we never felt rushed at all. The tour was the perfect length and the food was delicious and just enough. The wine was very good as well. The only thing I would suggest is to change the name of the tour; the tastings were not unlimited. Every participant had an already prepared plate of food for the first part of the tour and the pasta, although more than enough for my family, was not unlimited. It was fine for us, but others with a heftier appetite may be expecting more since it does say unlimited. I would definitely recommend this tour to others and hope that you're lucky enough to have Tina as your guide. She was terrific!

Our guide Giada was superb with perfect english, so easy to understand. She gave very interesting chat and at the venues others joined in to explain the food and wine. As some of us love craft beer the pizzarium stop went down so much better than say peroni although time only for one. The prosecco was indeed free flowing but the reason this is 4 not 5 stars is that it says in the advert unlimited and barolo in the same sentence. Be warned you just get a single carefully measured glass of Barolo.

This event delivers, if you're looking for a fantastic night with great food, amazing wines and really great people then this is the one to book! We took the tour on Friday night and our guide Chiara was just amazing, the whole night was paced just at the right speed with loads of information on the history of the food and drink, the truffle paste, olive oils and 30 year old balsamic lived all lived up to the hype as did all the foods and wines throughout the whole event, there is so much to eat and drink that you won't leave hungry or sober. We met some great people on the tour and even carried on to more bars after for a bit of ye old karaoke, all in all we were so glad we booked this one, it was a fantastic night! ... Ps the final pasta dish and wines, just wow 😍

Loved this food tour with my husband! Our tour guide Isa was really good. It was her last day before she moved back to her country and we are happy that she gave us the tour …very personable and informative. We met at a small café, which was our first stop. When you’re looking for the meeting place it won’t be as obvious to see the café from the sidewalk.
. It’s kind of in a little alley so just make sure you look for the sign of the restaurant on a board in the alley. The area is very safe and we were told it’s one of the most expensive places in that area to live. It didn’t appear that way to me at first when we exited the train .so that was good to hear lol. We were in a tour with one single gentleman and a family of five adults . It was a lovely tour with good food. It was fun, meeting the other gas and talking to them and dining with them. We walked around the area and stopped at great places to enjoy food and beverage. This was our first food tour, and I would definitely do this again.

This food and wine tour was really great, definitely recommend it! I attended solo as my husband was in work meetings that day. The other guests were friendly and welcoming so it wasn’t awkward for me at all lol. You get a TON of food and wine and everything was so delicious you can’t avoid eating it all. I did the noon tour and couldn’t eat again until 10pm lol. Our guide Giada was very sweet and had a lot of interesting information to share about agriculture, livestock, farm to table processes, geography, history and culture. It was fun to have a story coupled with each item. Later that night I told my husband what I learned and we booked the Trastevere food and wine tour for the next day!! Book this experience — you won’t regret it! Our stops included a cafe with bruschetta, coffee and Prosecco; next a chef-famous pizza place; then a market where we sampled 3 meats, mozzarella and tomato, eggplant Parmesan, white and red wines; we ended at a restaurant where we could choose from 3 pasta dishes and all had red and white wines plus tiramisu. Every single bite was local, fresh and delicious. Loved every minute!

Powered by this company called The Roman Food Tour: a robust 4 hour food tour that just flew by and I savored every moment. 4 hours beginning at 4:30pm, so perfectly straddled both sunset hour and dinnertime. At the end I went straight to my hotel and slept extremely well after such a fulfilling dinner experience.

There was a bit of a snag with scheduling as I received a call from Josh a day prior requesting to reschedule due to a guide being out sick. At first I was planning to just opt for the refund but because he was so courteous, I moved around our itinerary to accommodate the next evening. Certainly appreciated the open communication, including how he was willing to send over recommendations in the area even if we had opted out, which was a nice gesture.

Ariana was our tour guide and totally fantastic. The Prati district was a good balance after spending most of our week to that point in the Rome proper; this neighborhood definitely felt more 'chill,' yet still food-oriented. She did such a great job of balancing the group of about 15 (I believe max capacity) even with the majority being a group of American seniors that requested special accommodation (i.e. taxi vs. walking 10min to certain destinations). Her patience was utterly commendable.

We stopped by ALL great spots. Started with a meat/cheese/balsamic vinegar sampling then moved to Pizzerium Bonci which was definitely a highlight as it was high on my personal list. I loved the balance of famous, well-known spots like that with more local destinations. Portions were plentiful and we had our share of appetizers, pizzas, pasta, dessert, you name it. The tour ends with a proper seated meal; FYI there is definitely a decent level of people interaction involved (for those who find those with social anxiety, this might not be for you).

All in all a truly wonderful experience with interesting, fun stories from historical fun facts to the neighborhood and spots themselves. Definitely recommended if you want to experience a solid slice of Roman cuisine.

This was truly the highlight of my short trip to Rome, and glad I saved the best for last. Thanks to our Guide Giulia, it was an incredibly unforgettable culinary experience! Giulia was very attentive with the group guests, showed so much enthusiasm and passion for her job as our Guide. The food selection was amazing and gave us great insights in the authentic Italian cuisine!
