- 1The National Archaeological Museum of Naples offers one of the richest and most complete archaeological collections in Italy and Europe. Not to be missed are the Vesuvian collections and the Farnese collection. The first houses a rich collection of unique finds of various types (from mosaics to frescoes, sculptures, objects of everyday life), found in the excavations of the cities buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. , or rather Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis, Stabiae. The Farnese collection, on the other hand, is the most important of the Italian Renaissance collections of antiquities, inherited in the 1700s by the Bourbon family of Naples and unique for its sculptures, such as the famous "Farnese Bull" or the "Farnese Hercules. then there is the "Farnese Cup", the largest engraved gem that has come from antiquity.

- JOSHUA H0 contributionsAmazing way to see SorrentoRoberto was an incredible guide. Great pace and full of interesting insights. He gave a great feel for the town, and spent time where we had the greatest interests. His restaurant and dessert recommendations were amazing. Highly recommend!Written 8 July 2024
- alexpC891TM0 contributionsCapriValeria was great! We didn’t have a plan for the day and she helped us figure out what to do. It would have been much more stressful without a guide and we would not have really understood what we were looking at. The best part was the lift to the top of the mountain.Written 22 May 2024
- tete4060 contributionsCapri experience much enriched with Simona as a guide.Simona was friendly, warm, knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. She has a very good command of the English language. Capri came to life after listening to Simona. Highly recommend!Written 1 May 2024
- janetlebo0 contributionsFabulous tour with Vincenzo!Vincenzo was absolutely amazing!!! He was interesting, knowledgeable, funny and sweet. We covered a lot of ground, but at a great pace. We were then able to navigate on our own for our stay in Sorrento. We would certainly recommend this tour with Vincenzo!!!Written 19 April 2024
- 268ursulam0 contributionsProvided a great overview of the areaMy boyfriend and I stayed in Sorrento for 10 days. We did this tour as soon as we arrived and it was a great way to get our bearings for later exploration. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us great tips on pizza (Sorrento vs Neapolitan), pasta (definitely try the lemon pasta and take some home with you), shopping (Biagio Barile for amazing inlay wood souvenirs) and food in general (thank you Marina Grande!).Written 7 January 2024
- angelob4050 contributionsGetting to know SorrentoWe took a 2 hour walking tour as soon as we arrived in Sorrento to get the feeling for the city. Our guide Simona was excellent and provided background on the city, its history and local sights. Sorrento is great! We should have requested her for our other stops because we saw here in Capri, Positano & Ravello as well.Written 16 October 2023
- Christina L0 contributionsGreat experienceThis tour was well worth it! We only had a short time to see the site and our tour guide made sure we saw all of the important things and gave us so much useful information. We never would’ve gotten as much out of the site without a tour guide.Written 24 September 2023
- A5763KQjohnk0 contributionsFun, educational, and tastySo interesting and so much fun! Great to learn from a local about the history and development of Sorrento. Walking through the streets, seeing the sights and sampling sweets/limoncello was great too.Written 5 September 2023

- paulaaP4882JR0 contributionsExcellent guided tour of PompeiiAlessandro took our group of 4 on a 2-hour tour of the main sights of Pompeii. He met us at the train station and had already purchased our tickets, so arrival and entrance were very easy. He clearly knows so much about the subject and explained everything clearly (in English) and with such enthusiasm. It definitely enhanced the experience of visiting this amazing place for us and so would highly recommend this informative and well planned tour.Written 21 June 2023
- Caroline W0 contributionsFabulous tourFabulous tour - Allasandra in s so passionate that you really get caught up. Would completely recommend - came away wanting to know so much more. One of the best guides I’ve ever experienced.Written 15 June 2023
- I7561QNkeving0 contributionsGreat for kids (8-14)Wonderful tour. 2 hours. Saw a lot. Martina was fun and very efficient. Asked questions of us what we would think of various brothel-type Pompei sections to see whether or not would be appropriate for our young kids. She also adjusted the tour to their pace and interests. Thank you!Written 10 June 2023
- Epsom_traveller0 contributionsTo escape the most touristy parts of Amalfi, take this tour!I completed this tour today with Simona as our guide. She was excellent: very knowledgable about the history of the area, pointing out archeological and architectural details that I never would’ve seen on my own. It was great to escape from the very busy main streets and find peace and tranquility in the cool network of alleys and passages that thread through the town. The walking tour starts quite gently in the main square. As you leave Amalfi and head to Atrani the steps become more challenging, but we stopped several times along the way to catch our breath. The perspectives of Amalfi and Atrani are really quite different from the paths above the town. Overall I’m really pleased to have taken this tour and would recommend it to anyone who is not shy of a good walk with a few steps. Grazie Simona!Written 2 June 2023
- btnewman0 contributionsGreat Day in CapriGreat tour. Sky is the limit as far as custom tailoring the day. We had Francesco as our guide. He was excellent! We had a great experience with him in Capri. Highly recommend!Written 1 June 2023
