I was set to arrive at Naples International Airport and in the booking (to a Pompeii hotel) I put my flight number and arrival time. My flight took a safety diversion for maintenance in the USA and immediately I tried to contact this company to let them know. It was the middle of the night in Italy so I could not get ahold of them. When my delayed flight arrived in Europe I missed my connecting flight to Naples and spent hours trying to contact this company to let them know my 3pm expected arrival was more like 9pm. They refused to change the time and they refused to work with me in any way shape or form. This is a TRAVEL company refusing to understand that delays happen without warning. I was left stranded and scrambling to find another ride once I arrived to Naples. They also refused to refund.

We booked a private transfer with dtservice.it from Sorrento to Positano for ‘Golden Hour in Positano’ van sharing in early October ‘24 and it was not a very disappointing experience. Firstly the driver Nino who spoke perfect English was 30 minutes late arriving at the pick up point, when he got there was visible furious and lashed out at us when we said he was late & then blamed the company for giving him the wrong time! He made two more pick ups and his jokes about the Irish were in very bad taste! Considering the journey cost us €198 for three of us we considered it was a very expensive journey to be ridiculed by Nino who was a very good driver & had some great tour tips on challenging roads but honestly would not recommend the experience at all. Think he should realise we are the customer & deserve to be treated with respect! Also feel the company lacks professionalism in dealing with the customer and was not interested after you have paid.

We had a private tour of Naples and the Amalfi coast booked for September 13, 2024 with another tour operator through Viator. We booked this tour over a month ago, but the tour operator canceled the tour without any explanation two days before the date. This put us a bad predicament, because the private tour was also supposed to take us to our Viator booked 2-hour authentic Neapolitan pizza making class. I called Viator, obviously unhappy that this tour operator, canceled the tour on what is turning out to be a very busy tour operating date. The rep with Viacom tried to book us a replacement private tour with the understanding that it needed to be flexible/customizable like the initial tour. This is when Viacom booked us with Josef of Amalfi Driver. I received a message from Josef on September 11, 2024 inquiring about our itinerary. I emphatically stated that the most important item was that we had the authentic Neapolitan pizza making class from 11am - 1pm and that we would like to work Positano, Amalfi, and Furore in the tour to take photos. I also informed him that my wife was disabled and would be bringing a foldable wheelchair or foldable walker. I NEVER said that my wife would be walking around at any of these places. After I thought that I made it quite clear, Josef was still message late into the night of September 11, 2024 into well after midnight of September 12, 2024. His last message made it apparent that he did not thoroughly read or comprehend my earlier message. He mentioned about spending an hour for lunch in Naples at an authentic pizzeria or we could go to the one that I mention in the touristy section of Naples. He missed the point t hat it was a pizza making CLASS. He then tried to talk us out of going to Positano and Furore, because these are "vertical cities" and not accessible by wheelchair. Again, I never said that my wife would be accessing these cities when I take photos. I stopped responding to Josef after midnight, because my wife and I had an early full-day tour of Rome the morning of September 12, 2024 (we are on a cruise ship). After the tour, I checked the emails on my phone and was advised at 2:52pm on September 12, 2024 that Josef canceled the tour because I didn't respond to his message sent after midnight. Again, he was not paying attention to what I wrote in my initial message to him and there was no urgency. The tour was already paid and I was within the 24-hour no refund booking time. He could have waited until I returned from our Rome private tour to receive a response. The booking was already confirmed. Now we will be in port on September 13, 2024 with no available private tours in Naples and within the 24-hour no refund period for the pizza making class. Josef also replied that since I didn't respond, he had other last-minute request for tours for which he was trying to take care. Again, the tour was already paid and I could not cancel. Where does he lose?? When I advised Josef that this was unacceptable and that I was going to write a review reflecting such, he was only concerned by his misperceived notion that I was trying to "...hurt his business." This is not the way to do business. I have already filed a complaint with Viator.

Started off great with Tranfer from Naples to Sorrento. Josef was super nice, knowledgeable and helpful with our bags. The rest of our trip we had his brother Marco who was nice. However, Marco drove a lot of the time texting and driving and going unbelievably fast. Our last transfer back to Naples airport, he did not drive us up to the departures, he parked in the lot, made us walk upstairs (didn't offer to carry a bag until almost there) and told us he was in a hurry to meet another group. Very poor customer service for how much we paid. Also, the "tour guide" they set us up with for Pompei, literally almost ran from one exhibit to another, talked on his phone and felt like he couldn't give a crap about us. English not great.

Excellent service and dependable. Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide in Marco. Would book with them again. Easy to work with.

Josef and Raphael were absolutely incredible. They promptly picked us up from the port and gave us so much amazing information. And they were GREAT drivers through the Amafli coast which is a crazy drive. They took us to Amafli first, which was perfect because it was very empty. Positano was packed but we had just enough time to enjoy it. Then our visit to Pompeii with tour guide, Rosa, was fantastic. I highly recommend this company for any of our transportation or tour needs.

Everything was perfect. From booking the last minute transfer with Joseph to having Raffaele drive us from the ferry station in Naples to our hotel in Praiano via a 2 hour stop in Pompeii, it was seamless. Raffaele couldn’t have been kinder, as he gave a little history lesson along the drive and got us to our destination safely. Very knowledgeable and kind person. Highly recommended. A++ service

Despite not being fluent in English, Rino our driver acted like a tour guide on our way from Naples to Positano, sharing historical landmarks. The car was comfortable and clean, and his driving was good too. The driver company arranged a tour guide for Pompeii (Massimiliano - Max for short) and he was top notch. There was a long line and we got right to the front without any wait. He is an Archeological Tour Guide so he knew a lot and was a great story teller. It was a 2 hrs tour, short and sweet. While we were on the tour Rino (our driver) kept our bags safe and in air conditioning - which was important to us since we have medicine that can’t be in the heat. All in all, a great experience and smooth transfer with a fun stop in Pompeii.
