Pompeii and Amalfi Coast Day Trip from Naples
From USD 101.06

If you love crafts and the picturesque but would rather not test your mettle on Italian roads, book this convenient day-trip. Besides exploring the town of Amalfi, stopping at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii, and seeing the Amalfi Coast, enjoy guided visits to a coral jewelry workshop and a ceramics studio. Tour includes a three-course Italian lunch.

What to Expect

After pickup from your central Naples hotel, greet your guide and board your luxury coach. Your first stop is Pompeii, an ancient city long buried under volcanic ash after Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD.

Next, visit a family-run workshop specializing in carved coral jewelry. Enjoy a traditional three-course lunch at Ristorante Vesuvio, a historic eatery that dates back to the 18th century.

Travel along the charming roads of the Amalfi Coast, with its pastel-colored towns and turquoise waters. Stop and explore a ceramics workshop before you break your journey in the town of Amalfi.

During the tour you will also have a 15 minutes stop for a panoramic photo opportunity of Positano.

After free time here, your coach will return you to your Naples hotel.

Pompeii and Amalfi Coast

Great trip if you have only one day to explore outside of Naples. Pompeii is fascinating and the Amalfi coast is beautiful. Plus the driver was excellent!
