Josephine(Guisy) was awesome! We loved our private tour to Pompeii. Guisy was easy to contact and plan our trip. We were almost skipping Pompeii when our friends recommended to go and take tour with Guisy and sure if was worth every penny and every minute we spent there. Words and pictures cannot explain or do justice to the place. It’s unbelievable to be standing and touring such a historical place which at times feels unreal. Guisy is very knowledgeable, personable and friendly. I would recommend her to all my friends. She met us at the station and took over rest of the steps to go in and showed us around and helped us understand minute details of the place which we would have ignored if we went on our own. Touring with Guisy is just fantastic.

My wife and I had a wonderful tour of ancient Pompeii with Giusy! She was extremely knowledgeable about both the history and “modern research” (e.g. she shared month-old research showing that Pompeii had fluoride in their water, resulting in better teeth for the rich). She shared both funny and insightful details during the tour that you simply couldn’t get from a recording, and the private tour was more than worth it as we were able to proceed at our own pace and spend more time in areas of interest. I would definitely recommend a tour with Giusy if you’re visiting ancient Pompeii!

Simply Amazing. We met our fabulous guide, Guisy, at the train station in Sorrento. She was very prompt and waiting for us. The experience started on the train, where she told us about life in Sorrento and began filling us in on some history in Pompeii. Once we got to the ruins we stopped for coffee and entered the park. Guisy was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the site. She answered all our questions and showed us many hidden spots within the site. What a great day my husband and I had touring Capri during a private tour with our guide. She was so kind, knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to spend the day with. She gives you as much free time or as little as you’d like to be on your own. We had such a great time with her, that we chose to stay with her the entire time. We told her what we wanted to do and she made it happen, along with other ideas. Highly, highly recommend this private tour!

Roberta, our guide, met us right at the gates, as promised, and helped us with tickets. She then took us through the Pompeii ruins with many insightful facts and comments. She was very helpful and patient as I was traveling with my older mother-in-law, who needs a slower pace. After the highlights of Pompeii, far too much to see everything, we grabbed lunch and got on the train to Herculaneum. There she found a spot for my mother-in-law to rest while we toured the site. Roberta was so authoritative and shared the details of the differences and similarities between the sites, and how the eruption effected each town differently. It was an amazing day, and Roberta was so knowledgeable and accommodating that she made our visit something we will remember forever!

I have never booked a private guide before - but since my hubby and I had always wanted to visit we decided to spend the money. It was really worth it. Our guide was Roberta and she was waiting as agreed, with a sign with my name at the entrance. She spoke excellent English and was able to walk us around Pompeii, avoiding the crowds and seeing some of the most beautiful and ruins with great respect. We then caught a train with her to Herculaneum and did the same. She was friendly and so knowledgeable - we really enjoyed the day and it was the highlight of our trip.
