Overview
Get an intimate look at Capri and the Amalfi Coast on a full-day, private boat tour. Led by your own personal captain, travel by gozzo (a classic Italian wooden boat) or speedboat, passing the towns of Positano, Amalfi, Nerano and Praiano. See the famous Faraglioni Rocks and the private islands and nature reserve of Li Galli, pausing along the way for a dip in the water. Then explore the Gardens of Augustus and Villa San Michele at your leisure on the scenic Island of Capri.
What to Expect
Meet your private captain in Amalfi, Praiano or Positano and step aboard your classic Italian gozzo or stylish speedboat, depending on your selection.
Take off along the stunning Amalfi Coast, passing the private islands and natural reserve of Li Galli, and soaking up panoramic views of Capri and Positano. Travel through the arch of one of the Faraglioni rock formations and see the chic town of Amalfi.
Journey past a small, turquoise fjord near Furore, where the Italian film Amore was shot. Then, coast past the notable San Pietro Hotel and see the fishing villages of Nerano and Praiano.
Stop below the former villa of actress Sophia Loren or along one of the beaches when you're ready for a refreshing swim. Afterward, cruise around the island of Capri, pausing in small coves and lagoons for a quick dip. You'll also see the rock formations up close and learn the history behind island from your captain.
Pass the White Grotto, a natural rock formation in the shape of the Virgin Mary; swim under the arc of the Green Grotto; and explore the impressive Blue Grotto, once the private bath house of Roman Emperor Tiberius, hopping off to visit if you wish (own expense).
Top off the trip with some free time on the island of Capri. Relax with lunch at a local café, walk through the gardens of Villa San Michele, take in the views from Mt Solaro or have a drink at chic Hotel Quisisana.
After some leisure time, reunite with your captain and travel back along the coast, returning to your original departure point in the evening.

That's probably the main highlight of our honeymoon. Francesco was an amazing captain, he showed us the Amalfi coast and Capri and even took us to a small grotto where we swam alone for a few minutes before several other boats showed up. The boat...More

Depends on traffic. About 90 minutes but it’s best to leave more time as there are spots you can stop along the way for pictures that have breathtaking views
