About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- LoveFamilyTravel420 contributionsGreat two days!Had an amazing day! Great communication throughout the process from initial questions to booking to answering my zillion changes to doing the tour. Definitely recommend! We also did a Pamplona walking tour with Jenny and she was the best! Full of information and fun! Thank you both!Written 18 October 2024
- ltsksavanturier0 contributionsVino and VistasWe had an absolutely delightful day out with James, visiting the Marqués de Riscal and Baigorri wineries. It was an absolute treat learning about the beautiful Basque region with someone so passionate about all things Basque, and driving through some stunning countryside to reach the wineries! We loved the contrast of the two wineries we visited (no spoilers here - both need to be experienced in person to be appreciated), the visit to the historic hilltop fortress of Laguardia, and the short stop to Ysios for a little photo shoot from the exterior. The only gripe was the weather (the heavens opened just as we reached Laguardia!) - but the delicious wine tastings more than amply made up for that, along with the convivial conversations in the car! An amazing and memorable experience from start to finish. Many thanks James (and Jimi)!Written 28 September 2024
- G324PPmarkm0 contributionsFun with Pintxos and HemingwayWe like walking food tours of new cities we’re visiting. Nothing helps you get familiar with a town than wandering around for a few hours with a local guide, who can show off culinary specialties and speak from long experience about what makes their community special. It’s the thing that made Anthony Bourdain’s TV work so compelling. The Good Tour Co. delivered for Pamplona! Jenny, our guide, is a student and native Basque. She guided us through the old city with aplomb, and filled us up with Pintxos, the region’s distinctive small-plate speciality. (Don’t call it Tapas!) There is much food and drink on this tour. When dinner-time came later, we were familiar enough with the cuisine to order with confidence. She even indulged our interest in Hemingway by slipping us into a small bar in which Papa H lived while visiting for the festival of San Fermin. All in all, a great afternoon, well spent in Pamplona.Written 27 September 2024
- migueldalmauirizarry0 contributionsExcelent experienceJimi was eager to make sure that we were enjoying our trip and wanted to cater to what he saw we like or disliked. When one winery cancele our reservation he found a different and similar option to ensure we enjoyed the experience.Written 19 September 2024
- arantxaz3510 contributionsJUST AMAZING. WORDS ARE SHORT TO EXPLAIN THIS EXPERIENCEThis tour was amazing. The atmosfere when the bulls and runners go under our balcony was intense and shoking. The tour organization was perfect too. Our guide jenny was so sweet and full of knowledge. The balcony is the best in all Pamplona. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was local and fresh. JUST AMAZING. Thank you JennyWritten 20 July 2024

- G300DNdanaa0 contributionsHighly Recommend! We loved this tour! Jon and Jen were delightful local guides, taking us to two very different wineries….one very old-school and one very modern. Both experiences were well worth it! Lunch provided at Baigorri was beyond expectations.Written 7 July 2024
- nicolesB1126OP0 contributionsWe felt really comfortable and welcomeMy partner Charles and I had the best time in La Guardia. Our guide told us the history of the village and took care of us the whole time. The vineyards were very beautiful and he even took us to see the Marqués de Riscal hotel which was also very nice. He was very eager to learn about our life and very open to tell about his, so we talked a lot about cultural differences, it was really fun!! We promised to come back to some other tour.Written 6 July 2024
- b_rbaraj1470 contributionsBest gastronomical experience of our lifeThis was the most amazing gastronómical experience of our life. These little baddies that they call "pintxos" really surprised us. We even went for pintxos again the next morning ! Thank you Ana Luisa!Written 19 May 2024
- vaneeind870 contributionsThis was the best option to visit LourdesThis was definitely the best tour we have ever done. Everything was perfect, from the car's confort to the completeness of the tour. Daiana told us the whole history with lots of details about Bernadette and the miraculous recovery's of many sick people in this sacred temple. We also enjoyed the mass in English option and a lunch stop. Thank you for making one of my dreams come true 🙏Written 19 April 2024
- Rdwatson30 contributionsBeware of tour operator who cancels tours with almost no notice. This tour operator canceled my tour with less than 24 hours notice. They did not reach iur directly to me which I think would have been appropriate as a courtesy. I simply got a message from Viator that the company had canceled the tour. I noticed they have done this before but that was 5 years ago and the operator replied to that particular complaint assuring that it would never happen again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because that behavior was a while ago and because the tour content and timing worked out well. Beware of this tour operator as fhey don’t seem to be reliable to follow through with their tours.Written 8 March 2024
- makaribera50 contributionsLourdes and the three sacred templesLourdes visit was a very spiritual and peaceful experience which made me feel so full of energy. The tour guides were very profesional and friendly people. I recommend this experience. Thank you very much. Bonnie Franklin. Texas. U.S.A.Written 10 January 2024
- Debby13410 contributionsLovely castle for a quick easy tour.Nice castle, visit is not long, you can climb all the towers. Packed on weekends, They dont light the castle at night, that is a shame.Written 22 October 2023
- Odyssey169136221170 contributionsTrip was cancelled on us at last minuteThe night before our scheduled trip we were sent an email cancelling our tour apparently due to incorrect pricing on the tripadvisor website. No option was given to accept a different price. The cancellation was fully refunded in a couple of days but resulted in a loss of over $50 Canadian by time exchange rates were factored in on our credit card.Written 12 October 2023

Since we arrived in Spain nearly 2 weeks ago, we have participated in several tours as we traveled across Spain. All very enriching, insightful, and worth while. As the cliché goes “save the best for last!”
Jamie, tour operator/owner, picked us up bright and early from our hotel and off we went to Bilbao. Jamie brought along his cousin/operator in training, which we were totally cool with and actually it added another level to the tour. Compared to our other tours, they ultimately felt, for the like of a better word, like tours. You were paying someone to show you around. There was some invisible boundary that separated operator from client, totally fine but it feels fake sometimes. This tour felt different, it felt like a couple friends taking a road trip from San Sebastián to Bilbao. One of the friends being really knowledgeable, Jamie. One of the friend working off that energy, Jaime cousin. The other friends going along for the ride, us. It was refreshing and fantastic.
Having conversations as we drove between the two cities made the time whiz by so quickly. That’s a plus! Normally, one of us, fiancé or I, are falling asleep as we get to a destination. Not this time around, Jaime and his cousin were really engaging.
Admittedly, I had some doubts that we wouldn’t get a breathe of Bilbao in a day but, I have to be honest, we really felt like we got immersed in the city. He guided us through the streets and history. Showed us local spots and let us on our own at the Guggenheim to take in the art. Afterwards we chatted our way back to our hotel. We could have hung out with both Jaime and his cousin all day. Next time, we are back in town, we will take him up on one of his other tours. Highly recommend having him show you around. Super knowledge and engaging. I can not recommend this tour any higher.
