We had an absolutely delightful day out with James, visiting the Marqués de Riscal and Baigorri wineries. It was an absolute treat learning about the beautiful Basque region with someone so passionate about all things Basque, and driving through some stunning countryside to reach the wineries! We loved the contrast of the two wineries we visited (no spoilers here - both need to be experienced in person to be appreciated), the visit to the historic hilltop fortress of Laguardia, and the short stop to Ysios for a little photo shoot from the exterior. The only gripe was the weather (the heavens opened just as we reached Laguardia!) - but the delicious wine tastings more than amply made up for that, along with the convivial conversations in the car! An amazing and memorable experience from start to finish. Many thanks James (and Jimi)!

We like walking food tours of new cities we’re visiting. Nothing helps you get familiar with a town than wandering around for a few hours with a local guide, who can show off culinary specialties and speak from long experience about what makes their community special. It’s the thing that made Anthony Bourdain’s TV work so compelling. The Good Tour Co. delivered for Pamplona! Jenny, our guide, is a student and native Basque. She guided us through the old city with aplomb, and filled us up with Pintxos, the region’s distinctive small-plate speciality. (Don’t call it Tapas!) There is much food and drink on this tour. When dinner-time came later, we were familiar enough with the cuisine to order with confidence. She even indulged our interest in Hemingway by slipping us into a small bar in which Papa H lived while visiting for the festival of San Fermin. All in all, a great afternoon, well spent in Pamplona.

Jimi was eager to make sure that we were enjoying our trip and wanted to cater to what he saw we like or disliked. When one winery cancele our reservation he found a different and similar option to ensure we enjoyed the experience.

This tour was amazing. The atmosfere when the bulls and runners go under our balcony was intense and shoking. The tour organization was perfect too. Our guide jenny was so sweet and full of knowledge. The balcony is the best in all Pamplona. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was local and fresh. JUST AMAZING. Thank you Jenny

We loved this tour! Jon and Jen were delightful local guides, taking us to two very different wineries….one very old-school and one very modern. Both experiences were well worth it! Lunch provided at Baigorri was beyond expectations.

My partner Charles and I had the best time in La Guardia. Our guide told us the history of the village and took care of us the whole time. The vineyards were very beautiful and he even took us to see the Marqués de Riscal hotel which was also very nice. He was very eager to learn about our life and very open to tell about his, so we talked a lot about cultural differences, it was really fun!! We promised to come back to some other tour.

This was the most amazing gastronómical experience of our life. These little baddies that they call "pintxos" really surprised us. We even went for pintxos again the next morning ! Thank you Ana Luisa!

This was definitely the best tour we have ever done. Everything was perfect, from the car's confort to the completeness of the tour. Daiana told us the whole history with lots of details about Bernadette and the miraculous recovery's of many sick people in this sacred temple. We also enjoyed the mass in English option and a lunch stop. Thank you for making one of my dreams come true 🙏

This tour operator canceled my tour with less than 24 hours notice. They did not reach iur directly to me which I think would have been appropriate as a courtesy. I simply got a message from Viator that the company had canceled the tour. I noticed they have done this before but that was 5 years ago and the operator replied to that particular complaint assuring that it would never happen again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because that behavior was a while ago and because the tour content and timing worked out well. Beware of this tour operator as fhey don’t seem to be reliable to follow through with their tours.

Nice castle, visit is not long, you can climb all the towers. Packed on weekends, They dont light the castle at night, that is a shame.

The night before our scheduled trip we were sent an email cancelling our tour apparently due to incorrect pricing on the tripadvisor website. No option was given to accept a different price. The cancellation was fully refunded in a couple of days but resulted in a loss of over $50 Canadian by time exchange rates were factored in on our credit card.
