About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 218lidiaf0 contributionsWonderful experience in CartagenaIt was a fantastic experience! The guide Jordi was amazing. He explained Cartagena in a very entertaining way. If I go on a cruise in Spain again, I’d definitely repeat the experience.Written 19 August 2024
- Cruiser6639240 contributionsBE AWARETour did not happen due to their being two cities (Cartagena) with the same name in two different countries but neither site provides the counties (Spain & Columbia) Booked the Cartagena in Spain and it should of been Columbia. Agency in Spain refused to refund my money back in excess of 500 (4 people) ! Even though the sites were not clear on the country which certainly is not my fault, I lost all of my money!!!Written 11 January 2024
- Bayoungs0 contributionsOutstanding Tour!So much fun, so much History! The Roman ruins were amazing. Everything they showed us was so interesting. Took us to the best places in Cartagena. 100% recommended!Written 25 November 2023

- flomart180 contributionsBest Tour in Cartagena!!Jordi was an amazing guide! We were 6 people and were driven and guided by Jordi. The mini van was exceptional. We saw Punic walls, beach area, and so much more. Everyone loved him and the tour. Very professional and knowledgeable. One of the best 4 hours we have had on our trip!! Many thanks to Jordi for making our visit to Cartagena so memorable!Written 7 May 2023
- Steve R0 contributionsCartagena from the cruise shipI booked the Cartagena walking tour for 2 people via Trip Adviser. The tour confirmation was through Viator and the operator was to be Quality Guided Tours. I contacted Quality Guided Tours via email as I was nervous about the meeting place, (we were on a cruise ship and I have had difficulty finding the meeting places in the past). They were very prompt to reply and assured me that the meeting spot was very easy to find from the cruise ship and a little map. It is very easy to find, you walk straight past Mare Nostrum on the right hand side as you walk up the pier from the cruise ship. We had confirmation on the day we left the UK about the tour taking place, ( the Sunday). We were then aboard the cruise ship with no mobile connection. Luckily as we sailed past Gibraltar on the Wednesday I picked up a mobile signal and downloaded emails. The tour had been cancelled for the next day! The money was refunded immediately. So we were left with nothing booked and made our own way around the city. As it happened it wasnt a real issue. The highlights can easily be found on your own. Although we never did find the entrance to the Roman theater, but viewed from outside. Im writing this solely for others that might be visiting on a cruise ship. Dont worry if the tour is cancelled you can easily walk from the cruise terminal right into the city and enjoy the cultureWritten 7 May 2023

- Shawnino0 contributionsWonderful day with Ana.The meeting place was easy to find and Ana was a few minutes early. She whisked us away in her comfortable minivan for a day comparing and contrasting Cartagena and Murcia.Ana is warm and knowledgeable and packed a lot into our day. Best might have been the interpretive centre for the ruins of Cartagena and the walk through the pedestrian part of Murcia. Ana's English is clean and rich; she lived awhile in York in the UK. I was in a wheelchair rehabbing a broken leg, and it was obvious that Ana knew how to adapt the tour for people with mobility issues. She made sure the places she chose wer accessible and it was one of our best shore excursions on the whole cruise. Highly recommended.Written 25 December 2019
- Anthony F0 contributionsWe enjoyed our Tapas tour in CartagenaHaving been numerous times in Cartagena on cruises we wanted to do something different than just exploring the town on our own so I contacted Quality Guided Tours with whom we have toured before on a tour to Murcia and soon Jordi and Ana had us set up for this tour a few months ahead of our visit . I had formed a group of 10 people and we met our guide Ula Jimenez at the meeting place near the ship. Ula took us to 3 different locations and ordered the wine and Tapas for us . Some of these Tapas we would not have know as tourists to order but they were all very good and so was the wine . Ula also told us a few things about the city in very good English. Everything was perfect exept for that in a couple of the places it was so busy that there were either no seats for us and it took a little while before we could be taken care of in the one location who I believe should have been told ahead of time that we were arriving . All by all we were very pleased with the tour , the guide and the quality of the Tapas . We specially loved the final special Cartagena coffee , milk , liquor final drink of the day . I highly recommend Quality Guided Tours for any of their tours after now a couple of experiences.Written 21 November 2019
- Nancy G0 contributionsGood walking tour with a few problemsThe walking tour through Cartagena is the best way to experience the old town ! Unfortunately we had a guide whose English was very difficult to understand . We could not understand many of the exclamations . The second problem is the tour ends in the middle of old town not at the gates where it started The second problem is the tour ends in the middle of old town not at the gates where it started . Our guide handed us a map on which the streets were not labeled and pointed in the direction that we should go to find our way back.Written 5 November 2019
- DFGInhhk0 contributionsFabulous way to see the cityUla our guide was promptly waiting for the group at the meeting point. We were a group of 3 couples who never met before. She was very welcoming and happy to share her knowledge and experiences with us. Ula spoke seven different languages and it was easy for her to communicate with others. Ula took us to all of the highlights of Cartagenia, we avoided most lines, and she had tickets for us to go the the wall museum and the lift. Her knowledge was plentiful and she had a fun and funny personality. I highly recommend this tour.Written 3 November 2019
- Ted D0 contributionsGreat tour for the moneyGuide was interesting and was genuine. We would refer them.It was easy for all ages and easy to find off the cruise ship.Written 20 October 2019
- RussnPat70 contributionsNicely done!We had considered touring Cartagena on our own, and I think that would be manageable. But we would have missed so much of the culture and history of the town and the area. Anna was friendly and informative, and as a native of the area, had many insights she shared with the group. We also had time to enjoy Cartagena on our own after the tour, so we shared tapas with new friends at one of the local sidewalk cafes. Nice time! The price is reasonable for the experience.Written 10 October 2019

He’s very knowledgable, friendly, funny and more than willing to be flexible to make sure everyone is having a good time. Highly recommend.Written 14 September 2019

Daniel was an amazing tour guide. We are inquisitive and love history, and Daniel had tons of interesting information to share about Cartagena. We were very interested to learn about little details like patched bullet holes in the city hall building left from world war 2, and how to identify roman ruins vs. muslim ruins vs. christian ruins. Daniel described things that we never could have learned from reading plaques or researching online. He answered every question we asked (which were many!).
Even though the tour was 4 hours, it flew by.
The tour covered every place that I wanted to see: the roman theater, calle mayor, the plaza, a restored roman house, and more.
Daniel was sensitive to the needs of our 10-year-old child, and gave us all the time we wanted for breaks to cool down in the hot July sun. Daniel even recommended a couple restaurants in Cartagena that were great, AND he called and made a reservation for our group of 7 ahead of time. The table was waiting for us when we arrived. Thank you for an amazing experience that we will never forget.

Ana was our guide through Cartagena. Despite the rainy weather, she ensured that the day was fun and informative. Ana is extremely knowledgeable about her city and it’s Roman history. She took us for a fun local coffee at a beautiful cafe and gave us an excellent lunch recommendation at the end of our tour. It is easy to see how much she loves what she does! I would highly recommend Ana and this tour for anyone looking to explore Cartagena’s Roman roots.

We had a wonderful time with Jordi, who gave us an informative, lively and perfectly-timed walking tour. He is the consummate professional with excellent English. Before we wrapped up the walking tour, he recommended great places to eat tapas, drink wine and have the best coffee in town.

I coordinated a walking tour for 15 people on my cruise. It was easy to arrange and walked off to meet Sergio, our guide, on the dock. He then gave us an excellent tour of the city, covering not only the historical points in the tour description but a wealth of interesting information about the modern city too. At each stop, we walked straight in and avoided the main crowds as we were given detailed information about the sites - they were really brought to life. Particularly good was the House of Fortune which most of the other tours missed. We finished in the main street and were given tips and advice on making the best of the rest of our time in Cartagena. I recommend the tour.
