A fun afternoon... or is it? (No, really, it is!)
We ducked in here because it was raining and even though we are 3 adults, we couldn't stop laughing!! Playing around with illusions, taking silly photos of each other and laughing and feeling like kids again. Some of the reviews on here state that it's only a few illusions and a bit pricey (and both of those are true), we still enjoyed it and considered it fun

Worth going for an hour or so
We visited as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 11). I must admit I had fairly low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The kids absolutely loved it and so did the adults! It was great to be able to interact with the displays and some of them were just mind boggling! We paid about 45 euros for a family ticket and it took us about 90 minutes to go round the whole thing. If you’ve got some spare time and need to entertain the kids by having a break from sightseeing then I’d definitely recommend it.

Great experience for big and small
This was a great experience for both my 2yo and my parents (65+). So much to see and try out. A really nice time for everybody and definitely worth visiting if you have children!

      Fun but nothing special
Would have been nice to indicate it’s not more than a 20mins experience, even if it’s (too) crowded with little childern…

Maybe a tad expensive but good fun!
A little expensive for what it is. There was a small discount for under 12s and students however even they were 9euros. We went at 12.20 which seemed to be quite a busy time. At times you had to wait for your turn on an illusion but it never felt overcrowded and unsafe in Covid times. Fun was had by all and we got some great pics!

Killed an hour for us. There were too many people let in atonceso you had to queue for a long time for some things. Some people treat it like they're on a private visit and don't respect others being there.

Staff all very friendly and helpful but we thought had there been 3 of us ot would have been better as a lot of the illusions need 3 people. Not sure how a single person would get on.

After visiting museums and doing shopping this was a welcomed activity to do something different. The entry fee was 15 euros for adults and 12 euros for kids and students.

The illusion museum has two floors and will keep you occupied for about one hour. My family enjoyed this because they were keen to try everything! They had fun taking photos in the illusion rooms and attempting all the puzzles. Some of the previous reviews said that the museum was small. However, we haven’t been to one before and whilst we had previously seen some of the exhibitions, it was pretty new to us and therefore we enjoyed it.

Tips: we arrived without booking before hand and we were lucky enough to enter. When we exited just before 6pm there was a long queue of people waiting to enter. So check beforehand for available slots
You have to walk downstairs to access the other floor so it won’t be feasible for wheelchairs nor strollers/prams.

All in all a great activity if you want to do something different with your family and you hadn’t experience a museum of illusions before.

This Museum is pretty bad for what you think it is. This museum seems good on it's surface but firstly it was pretty expensive (like 40 Euros) for a single adult. Fine maybe it's a good museum, right, wrong! This Museum is a bad museum for the "biggest illusion museum in Europe", because the illusions are very bad, the only good illusion is that spinnye thing that is the main selling point everything else is pretty bad and it is small. Honestly, don't pay 40 Euros just to experience this small expensive museum, you will be better off watching a YouTube review of this thing, that is completely free. Don't recommend this museum. Go on a tour of the city (Madrid is a very beautiful city) or something.

I don't recommend it, discounted illusions, 14 euros for barely a cute illusion, it seems a bit much to me!
Cleanliness that leaves something to be desired, dirty bathrooms, dirty and crumpled illusion papers! You can't charge 14 euros when you need 15 to visit the royal palace...
€6 would have been more than enough.
By the way, I don't recommend it as a couple, some "illusions" require a third person to take photos.
One thing is certain we were deluded.

Fun experience with my children. Cost of euro 16 for adults and 11 for children up to 11 years is too high compared to expectations (in my opinion).
The visit lasts 1 hour poorly and is not suitable for those suffering from dizziness and balance problems.
The most beautiful and funny illusions are based on balance management.

For an early entrance time it's best to book online. It gets very crowded quite quickly. The museum is a lot of fun for both adults and kids. It takes about an hour to see and photo the different exhibits

For €11 I'd say it's not too much of a waste of money. It must be said that for many "works" it would be better to be three, because in this way the illusion is best experienced, and despite the noise of the numerous children inside, the museum is well structured, the illusions are explained quite clearly , and they are understandable and curious to experience. The staff could be a little more friendly, apart from the average experience

We braved the negative reviews and our 10 year old son really liked this little museum
We do the tour in 1 hour and we laugh as a family
It's a shame to ask clients who are waiting for their session to go out into the street because that would have allowed them to choose gifts at the store. You are stupidly losing turnover

Went as a group of university students and we all had great fun. Tickets are 12 euros but 9 after showing student ID. Didn’t take that long to get around but was good fun. For your entry fee you get a maximum stay of an hour. The tunnel was probably a highlight. Many great photo opportunities too!

The friendly staff and ease in finding the place, does not justify the high price paid for the small number of illusions (and rather known...). 16 euros/person paid for not even 20 minutes, practically. Recommendation: expand the number of events and above all try to renew them: I found them everywhere those shown. Moreover, a cost cut would be very welcome. Good luck with that.
