It’s a good trip with plenty of time to explore Toledo (the tour operator gives you about 2-2.5 hrs to walk around before heading to the winery). The winery stop was a nice break. The 3-city tour with Eduardo and Diego was nothing short of fabulous. Spanning 12 hours, the tour was engaging from start to finish, never once feeling monotonous or dragging. The dedication and patience exhibited by our two guides were commendable and highly appreciated, making the entire experience truly delightful.
This tour stands as the best value for money, offering an incredible opportunity to explore three magnificent cities in just one day. We immersed ourselves in the rich culture and vibrant atmospheres of Segovia, Avila, and Toledo, each city presenting its unique charm and historical significance.
Eduardo was exceptionally articulate and his profound knowledge of the history of these cities added immense value. His detailed narrations brought the stories and landmarks to life, deepening our understanding and appreciation of each location.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an in-depth, culturally rich experience. It was a day well spent, packed with learning, exploration, and unforgettable moments.

I highly recommend the Segovia-Avila-Toledo tour from Madrid – it was an enriching and an unforgettable experience! This well-paced tour allowed us to delve into each city's iconic landmarks and uncover the unique cultural heritage and history of each destination. Enhance your tour by booking lunch at Royal Bliss in Avila, where you'll savor a delicious 3-course meal.
Our knowledgeable guides, Edwardo and Carlos, shared insightful local stories and provided valuable tips for navigating the areas during our free time. Perfect for layovers in Madrid, this tour is a must-do!"

This tour is an amazing way to visit three unique, interesting, and historical cities in Spain. José María and Eduardo were fantastic and very informative tour guides. Before we had even left Madrid, they began to explain the history of the city to us, relating it to what we would see later in the day in Segovia, Ávila, and Toledo. They obviously enjoy what they do based on their knowledge and enthusiasm toward the cities.
To many, a downside is how little time you spend in each city. But for our family, it was the perfect amount of time because José María and Eduardo gave us a brief walking tour, then we got a little over an hour in each city to explore on our own:
In Segovia, we used our free time to visit the Alcazar and get a snack at a bakery. There was not enough time to tour the castle. In Ávila, we paid €15 to climb up and walk atop the walls. We spent about 20 mins doing this, then ate a quick sit-down lunch. We would recommend going to lunch on your own rather than with the group because you have more free time. In Toledo, we just went into some shops and got snacks.
Although it seems like a long day, it was nice to rest on the bus between cities. If you are interested in visiting more than just landmarks (i.e. exploring the city at the leisurely pace and eating non-touristy food), this tour is not for you. But if you want to take some amazing pictures and learn a lot about Spain, then we highly recommend this tour.

This trip does deliver what it promises to: three cities in one day. However, you’ll see three cities at the expense of a really excellent tour, insightful information and the feeling that you really saw and got a feel for each city.
At the most, we spent about an hour in each of the three cities. In Toledo, we had a brief tour of a cathedral and were then deposited as a group into a souvenir shop and given a location to meet at after we finished shopping. I had really wanted to see the Jewish quarter and the Muslim quarter and to learn about the history in Toledo. However, all we learned about was some symbolism in the cathedral, and pointed in the direction of the “best” place to buy X, Y or Z. So that was disappointing.
Segovia and Ávila were about the same. About 5 minutes of information imparted to us from our tour guide, followed by some time to buy souvenirs and a time to meet back at the bus.
It was a huge group. There were 60 people on this tour, which I didn’t realize it would be. I prefer smaller, more personal tours with about 8 or 10 people so we can ask questions and learn a lot.
If your goal is simply to set foot in 3 cities in one day and the history lesson is less important to you, then this would be a good trip to do. If you truly want to learn about each city and be able to speak intelligibly about each location, I recommend dedicating a full day tour to just one location and choosing a smaller tour.

The trip is managed by World Experience with our tour guide Eduardo. He has done an excellent job in taking care of the group members’ needs and explained the history of three cities - Segovia, Silva and Toledo in details with fluent and clear English. We feels lucky to have a guide like him. Even though we don’t have much time to take photos or shop around cities, it is a highly recommend tour for the one want to explore everything within a day!

Diego was the Guide of my trip and has been wonderful, he is an attentive person who knows a lot. He gave us advice and was explaining us little by little about the places we toured... the restaurant where we ate seemed good, I took amazing photos and I loved this tour. I highly recommend it, I travel alone and all the time they made me feel safe and accompanied. Thank you very much

I traveled solo from Saudi Arabia to Spain and joined a tour visiting three cities around Madrid in just 11 hours. It was an incredible experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing tour guide, Eduardo.
Eduardo was absolutely fantastic—his passion for history and culture was evident in every explanation he gave. He paid great attention to detail, ensuring everyone was comfortable and well-informed throughout the journey. His English was excellent, making it easy for non-Spanish speakers like myself to follow along and fully enjoy the tour.
What really stood out was Eduardo’s genuine care for the group. He made sure we knew exactly where to go, provided clear directions, and even took the time to answer questions with enthusiasm. His storytelling made every site we visited feel alive, and his friendly attitude created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Spain, and I highly recommend it—especially with Eduardo as your guide! If you’re looking for an informative, well-organized, and enjoyable experience, you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re short on time but eager to experience three amazing Spanish cities in just one day, this tour is a fantastic choice! The entire experience was well-organized, with punctual, professional guides who made everything smooth and enjoyable. Even with three cities packed into one day, the pace felt relaxed and unhurried. The bus was the most comfortable one I’ve seen, complete with charging panels and a sleek design that really stood out. Our two hosts were not only funny but also incredibly accommodating, adding a great vibe to the trip. Exploring these ancient cities was truly unforgettable, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable, efficient way to see more of Spain!

I recently toured Segovia, Avila and Toledo, and I have to say it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Each of these cities has a special charm, and visiting all three in one trip gives you a unique perspective on the rich history of Spain.
Segovia:
My trip started in Segovia, and from the moment I saw the Roman Aqueduct, I knew I was in a special place. This perfectly preserved stone colossus is truly impressive in person. Walking through the old town, I discovered cobbled alleys that led me to the **Cathedral of Segovia**, a majestic Gothic building. But the real highlight was the Alcazar, which seems straight out of a fairy tale. The view from the top of the tower over the city and surroundings was one of those moments that remain etched in the memory. Of course, I couldn't leave without trying the famous roast suckling pig. I went to a traditional restaurant and enjoyed a dish that exceeded my expectations: crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Then I went to Avila, and from the moment I saw its medieval walls, I was amazed. It is amazing how these walls, with their 88 towers, have endured over the centuries. Walking through the adarve of the walls was like a time travel, imagining what life would be like in the Middle Ages. I visited the Convent of Santa Teresa and could feel the deep spirituality of the place. In addition, I did not leave without tasting the famous “yolks of Santa Teresa”, a sweet that perfectly represents the soul of the city: simple, but full of flavor and tradition.
Finally, I arrived in Toledo, and the city engulfed me with its mix of cultures. It is fascinating how in one place you can find such an impressive **Cathedral** next to a **synagogue** and a **mosque**, all reflecting the historical coexistence of Jews, Muslims and Christians. The Alcázar de Toledo also left me speechless, not only for its architecture, but for the views it offers of the Tagus River. Local craftsmanship, especially damaschinado, is something I haven’t seen before, and I took a little souvenir to remember this trip. The cuisine in Toledo also deserves mention: I enjoyed a perfect pairing between traditional dishes and an environment that seems to stop time.
In short, this trip was an enriching cultural and historical experience. Each city has its own character, but together they tell a common story that unfolds over the centuries. I not only enjoyed the history and architecture, but also the warmth of the people and the amazing food at every stop. It is a trip I recommend to anyone who wants to connect deeply with the essence of Spain.

Laura was an exceptional tour guide who showed us the hidden gems of Segovia, Avila, and Toledo. Her knowledge and passion for Spanish history and culture were impressive. Laura's storytelling in both languages Spanish and English brought the ancient cities to life, making our experience truly unforgettable. She was also very accommodating and ensured our group's needs were met throughout the tour. I highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide in Spain.

Has anyone done the included lunch option and would you recommend?

A que hora es la hora de inicio y a que hora se estaría de regreso en madrid
Written 27 February 2025
Hello. How much time is it allowed for lunch? Are there different food options if the I don't buy the lunch with the tour? Thanks.
Written 27 October 2024
The included lunch was about an hour. The restaurant was outside the city walls, which we rode the bus to get there. After the lunch was finished we got back on the bus and went back to the pick-up/drop-off point to get those whom did not partake of the included lunch. There are plenty of places within the city walls to get food should you choose not to pay for the included lunch.

Hi there! Looking at doing this on October 22 Monday 8am schedule. Just wondering, what time do we finish the tour? We just have a flight at 10:55 pm and just want to make sure we are able to get to the airport on time. Thank you!
Written 18 September 2024
I personally would not risk it. There seemed to be a lot of traffic coming back into Madrid. I don't recall what time we got back to the drop-off point but it was likely around 8 p.m. Our hotel was quite a distance from that point, so to get back to the hotel, get your luggage and make it to the airport in time would be very risky.

Hola. Da tiempo de visitar el alcazar de segovia por dentro?
Written 27 August 2024
