The way to go if you want to do something different t
The tour was easy as a full day trip from Madrid - you will definitely leave wanting to see more as it’s a lot to cover in a day tour but with limited time in Madrid it was a good way to see the main attractions and will definitely come back in the future. Alejandra was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable about both city and punctual. We definitely had more free time in Segova than Avila. For the price and being able to complete without having to worry about logistics it was a n brainer.

    Very good trip
It was a very good trip and Angie was amazing! Very patient and knowledgeable about the secrets of Toledo. The only thing we would have appreciated was if we had been told about the fee to visit the cathedral, as that would have saved us some of our free time (we don’t mind paying but because it would have been just a 10min visit it wasn’t worth it going all the way back to find that out…)

Terrible - waste of money - herded like cattle in a large group 👎
Terrible! If you like being herded around like cattle with 90 strangers then this is the Toledo for you! After a quick photo stop of Toledo the next stop was at a”sword making factory” tourist trap trying to sell you swords and trinkets. Then it was off to a 1 hour walking tour of Toledo - group now split English/Spanish speakers- so now only 45 in group so couldn’t hear what tour leader was saying with all the street noise, etc 😣. So we gave up, abandoned the tour group and just did our own thing. We didn’t even wait for the return tour bus back to Madrid but returned by public bus instead. So I suggest don’t bother with this trip - a complete waste of money! If you need to see Toledo you can just get a public bus to/from Toledo, get your own map from the Tourist Info and do you own tour around the town.

A beautiful day, could have done without the tourist shop time wasting
The guides were informative and knowledgeable. The issue we had with the tour is that we spent an hour (at the beginning of the tour) visiting a ‘shop’. We didn’t get to Toledo old town until 11:30 and had only 30 min tour before the guide handed us off to meet another guide at 12:40. We toured the Cathedral with the new guide (very good tour) and finished at 2:30. We took a coffee break then proceeded to Mezquita Cristo de la Luz & Iglesia de Santo Tomé. We only had time for a quick visit at each of these before we had to head back to meet the bus. Even though you have access to more monuments, you don’t have enough time and part of that time is wasted in the shop. The other issue we had is that our tickets don’t work well. We were given tickets with a QR code but one of the codes didn’t work and we were told we had to pay. However, we kept showing our paid tickets and eventually we were admitted. I recommend comfortable shoes as there are lots of hills and uneven stone streets. We enjoyed our day and most especially the guides and bus drivers, who saw us there safely.

    Informative and enjoyable
We went on the half day tour, which was a good length of time. Angie our guide was awesome and provided commentary in both English and Spanish on the bus trip there. Once we were there we were split into groups of English or Spanish. Meeting place was well described. The tour was informative and enjoyable and we would recommend it.

    Too little time in Toledo
Toledo is beautiful and it deserves a full day experience, one hour free to explore is not enough. Is better is you use this tour as transportation and after they finish the walking tour go back to Madrid from the bus station for 6€ or you can just book the round trip and explore Toledo by yourself. The tour guide was very nice and helpful.

Very disorganized.
Late start , they mixed two groups one just doing the one town and my group visiting 2 for the day , 2 buses so should have been an easy task. . After Toledo every guide told us different buses to get on so in the end both buses had to come all the way back in Madrid then one group boarded one of the buses then headed on to the next city . Why they could just separate the groups to save the bother of having to return to Madrid.
Then they told us the wrong place to meet the bus at Segova so half an hour late there again .
Nice guides but just not organized which turn what should have been a great day into a very long frustrating day. And not a care in the world or apology about the lateness .

The cities were amazing and beautiful, especially Segovia we enjoyed more as we understood very well guide explanations and story. We were a small group having a guide in english, while the others were having guide in spanish language. In Toledo there were too many people closed by and no headphones, so we understood nothing from the story and it was a pitty as it is such a beautiful and fascinating city. It is highly recommended to offer the customers headphones as it will make the difference for much better. We avoid the guide at all and we moved in our own.
The other not so interesting part of the trip was the stop to a souvenir shop in the suburb of Toledo where we lost so many time that could be well spend in the city. In my opinion this should be definitely avoided as the people don't spend money to see a souvenir shop in suburb where there are so many with nice and better staff in the center of the city.
The bathrooms as well don't miss in the center of the city.
The autobus was in time in both cities and during the departure from Madrid so we appreciate it as we didn't loose time.
I didn't understood if all the trips to Toledo were organized from the same company or different ones, but if are from the same companies would be great to arrange the hours. We were in the same place on the same time so many buses thus it was difficult to move.
In general my husband and I enjoyed the tour, but our aspetatives were higher compare to other tours we have done in other countries and with other companies.

I really enjoyed this tour. While the day was long (at least 4 hours of the day was spent in the bus, between locations), the time in both Toledo an Segovia was enough to give the group a good taste of each city. Each city included a guided tour and some free time. Unfortunately, if you want to really explore the attractions in the city, in-depth, this is probably not the tour for you. Also, sitting down to enjoy a meal is also not really possible (although there are lots of options to grab a quick bite from one of the cafes or convenience stores). As someone who stayed in Madrid for the majority of my visit to Spain, this tour was a great opportunity to see another side of the country. Both cities were beautiful and rich with history. The highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Alfredo. Alfredo was funny, helpful, and knowledgeable. Additionally, he was bilingual, providing all of the information in both Spanish and English throughout the trip. I think the value for this trip is exceptional.

Very good tour, the guide jorge and bus driver Juan were excellent. The cities of Toledo and Segovia are also amazing and worth a visit. The cathedral in toledo was particularly amazing. The bilingual tour was interesting and seemed unnecessary as they could surely fill two buses, one for spanish one for english and save time. Another slight critism is the time in each place was rather limited and could do with removing the factory on the toledo end to allow 45mins more on the city itself. Time is natually going to be limited in tours like these anyway but a consideration.

The Toledo-Segovia tour was packed with history, amazing sights and lots of walking (~18k steps). Our guide Jose Luis spoke many languages, made the tour fun, gave us a lot of insights up until the moment we arrived in Madrid, and managed the crowd very well. I usually avoid the “big tour bus experience”, but this one was a very educational tour and excellent for value for the money. Budget a cash tip for your guides (If you choose to tip of course) . Unfortunately most people either overlooked or didn’t plan for that basic courtesy.

Vanessa was our guide. Her English was ok but she didn’t go into much depth. There was confusion from the start of the tour and in the beginning they try to take you to a gift shop which is tacky.

The bus is filled to capacity and there is no toilet so be mindful. The trip to Toledo was good. There was traffic to Segovia so instead of two hours it took three. There were miscommunications at Segovia regarding getting off and meeting point. It was not communicated well that we were to return to the bus not the aqueduct.

Overall the tour was ok just be mindful that it can take 11 hours total. Also be sure of what you are buying (bring your own water bc they will try to sell small bottles for one euro).

Bus does have usb charge so that is something.

My teen son and I did enjoy the guided visit to Toledo and Segovia led by Elena and Mar the guides with Yussen the driver.
Everything was on time, probably the meeting point at the Neptun fountain could be better described in the materials received at the tour buying, but we made it.
The guides were knowledgeable and very nice, also was the driver.
As for an event acquired in the street, in a kiosk with magnets, we considered it as very good service and good value for money.
As a plus, we had a very nice lunch in the El Bernardin restaurant in Segovia as recommended but our guide. The scoop of goat cheese ice cream in the salad was creme de la creme!
Gracias Elena, Mar and Yussen!

Recommended tour. Although it takes some time to travel via bus from Toledo to Segovia, it is absolutely enjoyable.
Two incredible historical cities in a day and very near Madrid.
We had an excellent service from Alberto, who organized the whole tour from the start at Neptune plaza to the end and an incredible tour of Segovia guided by Marta who provided us with amazing stories all around the city.

The bus is crowded and the driver refused to put on the air encouraging people to cough and take their masks off. The driver was rude when we addressed the issue with him. You are taken to a gift shop and a short tour of Toledo and then driven all the way back to Madrid to drop off and pick up more people and then head to Segovia. The guide was kind and Segovia is beautiful. During this time of Covid I don’t feel this tour is the safest choice. No one was checked. People were coughing on the bus. This was the least safe I have felt during my entire time in Spain. You are better off taking the train on your own.

Very nice and new bus, it was a lovely experience, the views, the history and the knowledge of the guides were outstanding. Nevertheless, keep In mind that there is a lot a lot a lot! Of walking!!!!! The tour leaves from the Neptune fountain next to the El Prado Museum at 9:00am and it ends at the same place around 9:00pm approx.
So, if you are willing to walk a lot you will definitely going to Enjoy it.
Kudos to our tour guides: Jorge and Alonso for your patience and for sharing your knowledge.
