Bad service; voucher codes do not work.
We bought a 5 day pass online and received a code by email to redeem at the airport TMB machine. The machine did not recognise the code. We had to buy extra tickets. Also other machines in the city refused the code. Staff could not help us. Next day the code was recognised but a refund for the extra tickets was refused. So, do not buy these day passes online! Better is directly from the machine without a voucher code!

      DON’T!!
I would not trust Hola Barcelona at all. I ordered some cable car tickets online and the money was taken twice from my account. After numerous phone calls, several emails and now three months later – nothing. Awful customer service.

Great value and included metro and train to airport and back
I don’t understand the bad reviews. This was an absolute great deal, we paid £25 each for 4 days (96 hours). Ordered online. Collected from the metro station at T2 airport. Used it non stop on the metro and trains in the city and it worked perfect. We got a metro from the airport and a train back. It tells you what you can use on the website. Any questions please ask. Easy access all over the place. Plenty of stops. Always running on time.

      Perfect for Families
The Zoo is very nice and not expensive to visit. I recommend it if you want to take your family for a nice calm day to relax and observe the nature. A lot of different animals to observe. I highly recommend it.

Good value, not handicap friendly though
Card a good value for 5 day travel on anything that moves in Barcelona, train, bus, tram etc. Not handicap friendly though, and the subway not as well marked as the one in Madrid. Still a good value though, as we did not want to spend money on cabs

      Poor Attraction
Very brief - only took about 40 minutes to go around. It looks old and tired, very sad looking, if I’m honest - the entrance is fancy, but then you get in there, and well… It’s naff. I can’t really recommend it at €27 a pop.

      Best bargain
Best bargain if you’re traveling to Barcelona. Savings on museums alone pay you back for your purchase. Easy to travel through Barcelona on the buses. Many of the best museums are either free or at a discounted rate.

      Got the job done
Very knowledgeable and informative. We learned about the history of the city. I thought we'd see more of the Gothic quarter.

      Misleading
Don't do it. We bought it purely to get to the airport and use the metro. We went to catch the bus to the airport and said they don't accept it. Their website... "Avoid paying extra for airport transfers and enjoy your Hola Barcelona.... etc." Extremely misleading. Supposedly you can leave the airport but you can't get back in? 🤔

      Beautiful Aerial views
Beautiful scenery, definitely get out at the castle stop and walk around. Beautiful day to see Barcelona from the sky! Worth it for sure and nice to have a little break for walking around

      Underwhelming
Did this trip as we had 90 minutes to kill between one tour and plans for dinner. Avoided the mass of queues by doing late afternoon. Tickets approx £15 each and to be honest was left very under-whelmed. Trip very short, maybe 15 minute round-trip.

      Thoroughly recommend
Our guide Pillah (sorry if that’s spelt incorrectly) was fantastic so informative without being boring or staid. We enjoyed every minute of the tour and the recommendations given for places to visit/eat/shop were invaluable

      Stunning!
It was a beautiful palace, and we were very impressed with the beauty. It was the one place that we for sure knew we had to come to visit because we heard how wonderful it was and it did not disappoint.

Easy way to get around town
This is the only way to get around Barcelona Same as Lisbon…. The transportation system is excellent and with most map programs on phones it will give you the train, bus or subway you will need Seems overwhelming but it’s not that difficult

      Great!
Was a great tour. Walking distance from our hotel! Good way to learn the history of the area and the maze of alleys! Would recommend!

It's a long road to get there for a short'ish visit but definitely worth going once! We loved seeing the sights up there, and the art museum was fantastic! We were quite happy we went! We had 2 young ladies as our tour guides because of the size of the group. It's a challenge to manage such a big group and they did a great job! They were also very knowledgeable and pleasant.

This place is overpriced but costs aside the setting is awe-inspiring and spectacular. You can hike to St Michael's cross which is free and offers spectacular views and took my wife and I 30 minutes. If you want to further you can hike up to St Joan's. Add another 30 minutes.

I purchased this tour for my husband and myself with the understanding that the trip included admission into the church to see the boys' choir perform at 1 pm, as a reading of the tour description included that feature, which was the chief reason I wished to visit Montserrat. We were informed by the tour guide that our tickets did NOT include this option, although nearly everyone else's tickets in our group did. So very disappointing, and upon arrival at Montserrat I tried purchasing the 6 euro tickets to see the boys' choir but unfortunately it was sold out.

Here is the description of this tour (and we were indeed present in time for the boys' choir performance):

Overview: Visit Montserrat on this small-group guided tour from Barcelona. Travel by air-conditioned coach, and ride the rack railway to 1,000-year-old Benedictine Monastery complex. Tour the monastery and see the Black Madonna with a Catalan, Spanish, and English speaking guide. Depending on timing, enjoy a performance by the Boy’s Choir. Easy half-day trip to Montserrat from Barcelona Transport by air-conditioned coach and rack railway Includes entrance and tour of the monastery Boy’s Choir performance (depending on timing)

During the tour of Montserrat, I spent most of my time there trying to resolve this discrepancy, even calling Viator twice from the mountain to confirm that I had indeed purchased the boys' choir option in my tour, in order for them to verify this with our tour guide. One Viator representative said that my ticket included it, and another said it did not. This was most distressing as I missed most of the tour guide's talk about Montserrat while trying to resolve this matter.

Apparently I'm not the first visitor that this has happened to, and I was told that two options are offered -- one for visitors wishing to go inside the church, and one for those who did not. This was extremely unclear in the tour description. I urge Viator--and Trip Advisor--to fix this problem for future travelers. This was a very unpleasant experience and definitely not “Easy."

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
