About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 667kubas0 contributionsBest tour we have done!!This was the best tour I have done hands down!!! Jb is a great guide with a lot of experience under his belt. He knew so much about the history and geology but then also was just super nice to be around.. The sun was out and he went for a jump!! And no clue how but he found us an octopus!! Really, I have been on many tours for snorkeling and diving.. No clue how he saw it.Written 17 March 2025
- Road479096891810 contributionsA cold and rainy day trip out of the city!A popular summer destination but we went on a cold rainy day and the vibes were truly immaculate. Most stores were closed and there wasn't a lot of people, felt like we had the whole place to ourselves We happen to be the only people who booked for the day so it was essentially a private tour and we really enjoyed every second of it. We had a little bit more flexibility in terms of the schedule. JB was nicest, very knowledgeable and friendly. It felt like we were walking through his backyard as he took us off the conventional path. The route we took had steeper slopes and stairs so it might not suited for everyone. But i'm sure there are alternative paths which are more accessible. For someone who is super prone to car sickness, the whole journey was super smooth thanks to JB's driving. Amazing experience with a great guide!Written 14 March 2025
- destenr20250 contributionsEmployee of the year for JbJb was the best! Get there early and he’ll leave early so that you have more time to enjoy the beautiful views. He’s also very willing to take you pictures without charging you which was nice. Of course he has plenty of recommendations for what to do in Spain/Barcelona depending on your preferences. He knows all the secret spots. Below are the pictures he took of me to give you an idea of how good he is.Written 13 March 2025

He even went out of his way to make a lunch reservation at a popular/amazing restaurant. This has truly been the highlight of our stay so far. I would highly recommend this to any friends or family visiting the area!Written 5 March 2025

- scdubs0 contributionsGreat, well organized day trip!A Perfect Day Trip – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely fantastic day on this well-organized tour! From start to finish, everything was seamless. The meeting point was easy to find, and the transfer was smooth and hassle-free. Tossa de Mar is simply stunning—charming cobbled streets, breathtaking coastal views, and a real sense of history. The outdoor excursion along the coast was a highlight, offering fresh sea air, beautiful scenery, and just the right amount of exercise to feel refreshed without being too strenuous. Lunch was a real treat! We enjoyed a delicious meal featuring traditional Catalan cuisine, which was the perfect way to recharge before heading back. A huge shoutout to JB, who runs everything like clockwork and makes the experience even more enjoyable with his friendly and professional approach. If you’re looking for a great break from the city, this trip is 100% worth it. Highly recommend!Written 22 February 2025

- Tlsrlcarter0 contributionsCosta Brava AdventureThis was an amazing adventure with JB. He’s so great about finding out about you & sharing his depth of knowledge about the coastal towns. The views, the ruins, the history & the beautiful walks around these areas were just phenomenal. It was too cold to snorkel but we enjoyed strolling through the beautiful fisherman villages & snapping some great photos. The restaurant we ate at had yummy paella & dessert. I highly recommend doing these tours out to Costa Brava from Barcelona. It’s a very unique experience with a wonderful driver, tour guide & most of all he becomes your friend. Don’t miss this one. - 74maithyn0 contributionsA THOUSAND TIMES YESWe booked a last minute trip to Barcelona for thanksgiving and decided to spend a day getting out of the city, BEST DECISION EVER. Our tour guide, JB, was so knowledgeable and friendly. He took us through the town of Tossa de Mar, a coastal walk along Costa Brava, and lunch at the cutest restaraunt! We were so fortunate to be blessed with beautiful weather, 65 F. JB coached my sister and her room mate on best spots for snorkeling and cliff diving, it was their first time and they had a blast. If you’re looking for a fun activity outside of the city, I definitely recommend this excursion!Written 28 November 2024

Doing kayaking for the first time in a new city surrounded by new people was the most enjoyable first time experience. The whole experience would not have been this memorable without Marcos, our tour guide for the day. Would highly recommend him as a tour guide for anyone looking for a calm, peaceful yet exciting experience with excursions barcelona. Definitely will be coming back to do another tour soon ! :)

First and foremost… Augusto is THE BEST guide you could have for this excursion. He took the time to get to know all of us on the drive to Costa Brava, asking what we did for work and where we were from. He shared about himself and his time in Barcelona.
When we arrived at Costa Brava he explained everything to us, gave us time to store our belongings, purchase croakies and waterproof phone pouches if needed. He then helped us choose our life vests, stretch before kayaking and explained the basics of how to kayak. This was the first time my husband an I had ever kayaked, Augusto was extremely patient with us (as was the rest of the group), he continually checked on us, never let us get too far behind the group, helped us understand what we were doing wrong, and kept us motivated until we finally got the hang of it.
First we kayaked through the caves until we reached our first snorkel area and the cliff jump spot. There are three different heights to jump from. The thing I was most excited for of this excursion was the jump, it’s not easy climbing up to it but so, so worth the jump. Augusto took photos and videos of everyone when the jumped and snorkeled. He then teaches you how to get back up into the kayaks, which isn’t easy from the water and you then kayak to the second snorkel spot which is filled with schools of fish, sea urchins, star fish and more. You are given ample snorkel time and area at this second location. The kayak back to the coast was a bit more challenging with the change in tide and much more traffic on the water from boats, jet skis, and other kayak groups. We did the small tour (8 people) at 8 am which at highly recommend, as we were the first group out and did not have to wait to get into the caves.
Lunch is then served at a little beach bar after the kayak (three sandwich choices and cash bar). You have the opportunity to change after kayaking and you can walk the surrounding area or hang out at the bar. There are no outside showers to rinse off/desand, but there is a more private bathroom at the beach bar that affords you more time and privacy to clean up and change.
The drive back give you views of the F1 track which was exciting. Augusto had really good music playlists in the van which was an added bonus! At the end of the day Augusto took our phone numbers in order to send us all the photos and videos he had taken throughout the day and with that came multiple restaurant recommendations.
My only negative about the day was that it was cloudy and at times it rained, so that water wasn’t that crystal blue I was hoping for but the excursion overall is one you do not want to miss. (And do whatever it takes to get Augusto as your guide!!)

Tete was our guide for this full day of fun and adventure. He was very aware of the different needs of each member of our 8 person group. The area is absolutely stunning and if you have the time to do this day trip while in Barcelona I highly recommend it. They provided us with wet suits which was not written in the list of what was provided but was really important to have as the water was chilly. Tete also brought his go pro camera with and was constantly moving among our kayaks and taking photos of our adventure. He also shared all of the photos without charging an extra fee for this service. After a challenging kayak in the open ocean you get to explore different caves in your kayak. The snorkeling involved jumping out of your kayak and looking around for a bit. There was not a ton to see in the water but it was very clear and you could see different fish a few sea urchins in the rocks and some small floating jellyfish. After snorkeling we kayaked to an area where we could do cliff jumping. I was only brave enough to jump off of the lower cliff but others adventured to the higher one and jumped that as well. Overall Tete gave us a wonderful day.

This definitely was not what we expected. Tour guide was very nice but apart from that overall would not recommend for the price. We were packed in an older van and drive was about hour and half trip to get there. When we got there, the beach was very crowded and we had to wait about 45 min before we received our worn out life jackets and snorkeling gear. They put us on a double kayak because he said it was easier than managing everyone on individual kayaks.. the water was very packed with boats and other kayaks and the water was very choppy making it difficult to navigate to the location he was taking us. The first stop was an area we were to snorkel but it’s pretty far away kayaking so be prepared it’s a workout. My husbands seat at the back of our kayak was broken so he had no way to lean back and it was very hard to direct the kayak. Once we got to the snorkeling area there were literally zero fish. It was a waist of energy going that far to see nothing. The area is very crowded with boats and jet skiers so that may be the issue with no fish to see.. we were disappointed to say the least after traveling that far. After snorkeling he took us over to some rocks to climb and jump into water . This was really not our thing as seems like it’s geared towards teenager age groups.
By this point it was close to 4pm and still haven’t had the “included lunch”… they should tell you lunch won’t be until late afternoon to plan accordingly…
Once we got back to shore exhausted we were left to clean our own life jackets dumping them into some disgusting water solution and hang back up. To change and clean up before “lunch” , there is one filthy bathroom that all beach goers use.. no toilet paper and completely disgusting…
Lunch did not include a drink and consist of one stale turkey or sausage sandwich. There was no beach time at all and after everyone ate we were loaded back on the van.
Definitely not worth $100 a person and we are upset we waisted one of our last days in beautiful Barcelona for this disappointing day trip that took up our entire day from 10am retuning at 6pm.
Pictures on their advertising look much better than the actual experience.

FABULOUS! They broke our big group into smaller groups so it felt like a semiprivate kayak, snorkel, and cliff jump. I signed us up for this tour because of the cliff jump and was not disappointed! Our guide Marcos was EXCELLENT! He lead us thru some tricky (and super fun) sections and made us all feel safe. Request him! I already want to go back and do it again!

We had the absolutely BEST experience kayaking & snorkeling in Costa Brava with Sergio. He is so friendly and fun, and has the best energy. He built our confidence by explaining exactly how to do everything and challenged our limits just enough to make us feel brave & adventurous. Sergio was incredibly hilarious with our kids and immediately connected with them like a big brother. My kids felt safe with him and he even encouraged them to be extra silly and carefree.
Sergio showed us all kinds of underwater surprises, unique caves to explore, and took us cliff jumping! He is an absolute treasure and we are so thankful for the great time he showed us. We 10-10 recommend booking with this company and asking for Sergio if you want to have the most amazing time in Costa Brava.

This was one of the coolest experiences of my life! Our guide, Gerard, was super informative and made sure everyone felt safe the entire time we were out, took us through some beautiful coves and cliffs, and coached us all through some of the tighter gaps using his own kayak as a bumper to make sure no one had an accident!
The snorkeling was beautiful for us, we got to see tons of fish and eels, even a few jellyfish and an octopus, and supposedly it was a bad day for water conditions so I can only imagine how beautiful it would be if the weather was ideal!

Even though it was raining during our tour of the Costa Brava, we had an amazing time! Kayaking through the waves felt like a true adventure, and our guide Chivito brought such great energy to the group. He was super communicative and kept the mood positive the whole time. The group was friendly, and we had a blast jumping off cliffs, snorkeling, and swimming. Definitely recommend bringing a poncho surf to stay comfy in the rain, and don’t forget water! All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I would do it again!

Part of it and also, the interaction/vibe with others and guides. So much better when your guide knows something about you. My wife and I are 57, my son and his friend are 22. We all may be interested in doing/hearing different things. With a smaller group, it may be easier and lot more enjoyable. Loved it!
