Open top buses
Very handy and good to get around - as is the T10 pass for Metro, bus etc. This can be shared so a couple can make 5 Metro trips between them well worth the money

Tour cancelled due to protests
When we showed up at the bus stop at 9am, there was no bus there, so we asked the woman at the information desk and she informed us that the bus would not be running that day due to protests. She said that both the tour company and trip advisor were aware of this, but we did not receive an email from either one. We booked this tour months in advance (obviously with no idea that this protest would be happening). An email would have been appreciated in order to cancel the tour in advance and get the refund.

Loved it! Took the wrong tube on our way and almost missed our tour. They were great about getting us to join in with them. What an amazing place!

Great option for touring Barcelona
Just watch out for the #10 stop near Torre Agbar (Agbar Tower) - don't wait at the temporary #10 stop on the street at Carrer de Badajoz- go around the corner to the #10 stop on the Aviguda Diagonal by the Plaza Glories! Otherwise, a great way to tour the city. We stayed near the Rambla Poblenou and recommend visiting the nearby Museum of Design as well - free entrance on Sundays!

Show
It was a good show but it’s really over priced. The show should of been a maximum of 18 euros including a drink.

Good Orientation
I’ve been in Hop On Hop Off busses all over the world and I’ve had both better and worse tours. Since some of the best places in Barcelona can’t be accessed by bus, you won’t get the complete picture. It’s still worth the time to do because you’ll get a good overview of the whole city and can jump off to walk the areas you can’t see.

Costa Brava/Dali tour
Our guide David was excellent! His knowledge of all 3 areas we visited was impressive and at each location we were able to have free time to enjoy a coffee or shop without feeling rushed. His tour through the Dali museum was outstanding and enlightening. I had mistakenly signed up for the tour “in Spanish” , David made us feel welcomed and his ability to translate between English and Spanish was flawless. I highly recommend this tour and our guide David! Muchas Gracias Julia Travel and David! Cindy Magiera Chicago, IL

Barcelona hop on off
Very organized tour company. Pleasant staff. Safe drivers. The guide was up front informing us of the possible cancellations due to the current unrest in the city and to refund the second day. That was very courteous of them. Definitely recommend this tour company for anyone going to Barcelona.

Great wine, great Cava and a little extra to boot
This tour turned out to be a surprise where I learned about John Leon and his passion for wine, never heard of him until now. One of the extra was the variety of grapes they offer tour participants to try, on the vine. I was able to taste different grapes like 'what does a Zinfandel taste like?' It helped me appreciate the complexity of wine making and the talents required. Worth the price.

If nothing else visit Sagrada Familia
This is a must see attraction, if you don't visit another attraction check this out. Used the audio phones so went round at own pace. A unique experience.

Great Getaway from Barcelona
We wanted to see a bit of the neighboring countryside and chose Girona & Figueres. Girona really is a must see city to explore the Roman architecture, its everywhere , no wonder the Game of Thrones chose Girona to film its series . In contrast to Figueres, the Father of Surrealism "DALI" lives in his tomb , greeting every visitor to explore his view of the world. We enjoyed this great getaway from Barcelona, the guides were excellent & very informative, I would recommend this trip very much those seeking a break from Barcelona.

Don't leave Barcelona without doing this must see tour
We met as a small group outside the Sagrada Familia, our tour guide spoke excellent English - our group from Canada, US, New Zealand and UK were all English speakers. The tour started outside and the tour guide provided us with an excellent commentary on the development and history of the Sagrada Familia including the symbolism of the features outside. We would never have understood this if we had just gone straight in. The fast track meant we dod not queue very long which was a bonus. Once inside the body of the church is awe inspiring with the quality of the light from the stained glass windows awe-inspiring, the angles and pillars are wonderful whilst there is also a simplicity about the place that would surprise you having seen the outside with its religious symbolism. The church is being built from donations to Gaudi's drawings with the hope of completing it for 2026.

Slow and confusing
Do not recommend to book Flamenco Night by Tripadvisor. Even through we booked the Flamenco NIght by Tripadvisor 24 hours ahead, still we were not allowed to watch the show for lack of reservation. Somehow, Triipadvisor did not contact Tablao Cordobes in time and book our seats. If we can do that again, we would book the show direct from Tablao Cordobes webside, to guarantee a certain and confirmed reservation without the unkonwn and hassle.

Highly recommended
It was the only way to get tickets, turned out a blessing. The guide was excellent, Danish, can’t remember his name. Real nice and great sense of humor (picture). What he showed was way beyond wiki. Our 4th time at the cathedral, the 1st time I really experienced this majestic place. Worth every cent Highly recommended

The Sagrada Familia is a must see but the tour had draw backs
We booked well ahead of time and expected to have an English only tour but ended up on a bilingual tour. Considering the huge number of people visiting at any one time, the quite large tour group and the confusion of questions being asked and answered in two languages I found myself quite disengaged from what the tour leader was saying. We had several similar tours while in Spain and I found them generally very good. The Sagrada Familia is an absolute must to visit - it is truly awe-inspiring but if I was doing it again I would consider just getting entry and an audio guide. You are then independent and can go at your own pace as well as hear the commentary. Additionally, although we had skip the line tickets there was still at least a thirty minute wait before we entered.
