- CC18000Great tour w/ Adrian!Barcelona Walking Tour & Sagrada Familia w/ Adrian was great! He is an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable, friendly & accommodating. We enjoyed learning the history of Barcelona along with the photos he shared with us on his iPad.
- L856SNjulesc00Best city tourThe whole tour was a fun experience. Marlon was the best! passionate and knowledgeable about the city. Overall would highly recommend. It was a very seamless operation with the driver also being a pleasant presence. Definitely a highlight, and the pictures came out awesome thanks in no small part to Marlon’s expertise.
- erine98400Fun and interesting day trip!We had a fantastic time visiting Girona and the Dali Museum with Matt as our guide! The hotel pickup and drop-off was priceless, as we were still recovering from a long day of travel the day before. It was fun to learn some history and culture of the area while getting a nice relaxing ride to the cities outside of Barcelona. The Dali Museum was fascinating and fun, with many areas to explore. We used almost all of our free time in the museum and then had to rush a bit for lunch, but still had time for a crepe and some cava. :) Girona was a beautiful city as well, and Matt was a great guide for the walking tour, highlighting some history as well as the Game of Thrones locations. We enjoyed a delicious cheese & truffle bikini from the Roca brothers' restaurant and a beer in the plaza in our free time. We loved this tour so much we would have booked another one with the company for Montserrat but unfortunately there weren't any available on the only day we could go. Highly recommend!
- Prats72100Excellent TourStephanie is very humble, kind and a great tour guide. She was very good in explaining the history of Barcelona while walking down the street. I must say she has a good knowledge about the places and history. Overall a wonderful experience.
- 965pranshus00Great walking tourOur guide Laura was fantastic and we really enjoyed the tour. It was quite informative as well. Totally recommended !!
- S4215NLjorgeb00Montserrat and Wine TourVicente is a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Kept the group on a steady pace and never hurried us out of any where.

- S1166JKdonnaj00Great city, great tour, great tour guide!Manuel was amazing knew all of the history of the sites we were visiting and also all about the city, states and neighborhoods.
- BoardingPass76109800Great time - family holidayA family holiday with 2 young children aged 12 and 9. Manuel our tour guide is above outstanding. He was so knowledgeable in explaining the history and culture of Barcelona but more importantly respectful of all. My family enjoyed all the places he took us. We had a great time. Highly recommended.
- missyzenith00Great view. Awesome trip.It was a well organised trip and the guide, Vicenta, was extremely helpful and friendly. Montserrat was a beautiful experience and I would recommend visitors to Barcelona to definitely make a trip down!
- davidjj132400Must see!Gaspar was incredible! I travel a lot and have never had such an educated tour guide. His English is perfect and no trouble at all with his accent. The tour itself consisted of exactly what I needed to see, and even hidden gems I didn’t even know I want to see (like, the entire town of Girona, for example). I highly recommend this tour, the pickup and drop off was smooth. Not to mention an exceptional value.
- joepN3681IL00Excellent day thanks to our fantastic guideMiquel was very knowledgeable and had plenty of dad jokes to keep you paying attention. He was an excellent tour guide and I will certainly request him if I return. Also, we want his wife to know that he drives very well on the narrow and crowded streets. Thanks for a fantastic day, Miquel!
- Anjali D00Wonderful TourTour guide Miquel was great! The Dali museum and Girona are amazing. There was a good amount of time at each. Would highly recommend this day tour!
- 680mnmc00Good tour to see major Barcelona sights in 1 dayMiguel was really entertaining and informative and overall provided a great touring experience. He knows the best spot to take photos & help us take great group photos! A definite bonus!
- Craft House I00Amazing tourIt was an amazing tour. We were able to see so much and really get to know the city. Sagrada familia is just breathtaking. David, our tour guide was nice, informative, fun and very knowledgeable. Totally worth it

A flawless day in the company of the best tour guide you could ever have, Matt, from InOutBarcelona. Traveling with my 85 year old mom was made easy with the timely pickup/drop off at our hotel in a nice Mercedes van that fits 8 guests (6 total for our day).
We managed quite well with me pushing the wheelchair.
Matt made the trip special for each guest with his uplifting and winning personality. He genuinely loves his job and was entertaining, knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating.
The tour was lovely, not a fast pace, but picturesque. I will take as many tours with Matt and the company each time I come to Barcelona or anywhere in Catalonia.

Each city was unique and our tour guide Matt provided us with plentiful information wherever we went. He gave great recommendations for spots to eat or simply get a coffee; he made it to our hotel on time and throughout the trip was very enthusiastic and professional. I would highly recommend inoutbarcelona tours to anyone wanting a better look of the provinces surrounding the main city of Barcelona.

My bf and I took this tour in Dec and even though the tour peaks in the summer, the winter tour was wonderful. It is not a busy during the down period leaving us with more time to take in views otherwise blocked by other people and cameras.
Our guide "Arnold" (his English nickname) was great. He made sure to hit small details about the areas you would otherwise overlook. The restuarant he suggested was also lovely. La Vella at the Costa Brava stop was very good. Definitely go with the sea food cause it's fresh and cooked well.
In Girona we were given free time after seeing the major spots around the city. It's not a Game of Thrones tour, so the information on the buildings are more informative historically.

Best tour ever w Gaspar!!!
We booked a all day tour and Gaspar (our tour guide) picked us up from the hotel and dropped us off at the hotel after the tour. I believe this is the only tour company that does this VIP service. There were 9 of us in a nice new van including the tour guide. While picking up the other passengers, we had few minutes and he let us check out the market which was nice.
Gaspar was very accommodating to all the passengers. One person was prone to car sickness so Gaspar let him sit in the front or the middle seat. Also he let everyone rotate seats so everyone has a chance to seat in different seats with different views. He asked what we wanted and we wanted to see more of Costa Brava so he took us to multiple must see locations and he even played specific music at certain locations to give us an idea of how it is during the peak time. Weather was perfect when we went = end of march.
He also bought a microphone + speaker so people in the back can hear better and we were able to control the volume. Also, he made sure the temperature inside the car was just right and had one person in the middle row be in charge of the AC.
Gaspar was very knowledge and very humorous. His jokes made the trip even better! He is always learning to be a better tour guide. He bough a book about Girona during our tour so he can learn more and share the knowledge with future tourist.
This small group tour is better than a big group tour since you can interact with other people and get to know each other. Gaspar introduced to this restaurant that he likes and the food was amazing! Everyone decided to go there but he gave us free time and other restaurant options so we have a choice. He is very flexible and we were sometimes a little later after the free time but he made the schedule work so that we came back to our hotel on time. One couple had to come back at a certain time so he dropped them off 1st and modified the schedule to accommodate everyone. He also planned the drive so that going to Girona and coming back will be a different route so we can see different views.
I would sign up for another company just to have another tour with Gaspar. He does about 10 different tours so I would love to sign up for a different tour with him next time I visit.
There are a lot more positive things to say but we highly recommend this tour w Gaspar and you will find out how amazing and funny Gaspar is!! He goes above and beyond and he takes his job very seriously and he really cares about the travelers.
We did several tours but this was our favorite one!!! Thanks Gaspar!!! David and EJ =)

Our tour of Girona and Costa Brava with Marco (our tour guide) was one of the highlights of our trip. Marco greeted us with a big smile and a welcoming attitude. He had clear and helpful communication with us throughout the tour. The drive to Girona was about an hour and Marco made sure to note points of interest along the way. He was very engaging, helpful and informative. Girona was beautiful and definitely worth the drive. Marco then took us to the city of Pals, and lastly Costa Brava where we enjoyed a delicious lunch of small plates, paella and dessert at a restaurant called La Vela. We enjoyed his company as he educated us about the food and helped us order our meal. After lunch, we enjoyed some time to explore the beach and take pictures. Once we were done exploring, we met with Marco again and he safely transported us back to our hotels. We highly recommend this tour and hope you are fortunate enough to get Marco as a guide. This was actually our second tour with him. We had first met him during the Sagrada Familia and Montserrat tour which was amazing! We connected with Marco and felt he was a very informative and professional tour guide, so we were interested in taking another tour with him (the Girona and Costa Brava tour). I’d also like to mention that I have a physical disability and Marco was very considerate and accommodating to my needs. He was very kind, fun, informative and helpful!

Vincent was fantastic at providing the history of all the places we went to which made these places come alive. The group we were with were from all over the world and it was great to meet them and by the end we had made new friends. The places were amazing beyond our expectations and would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience history, architecture, or to see a side of Spain outside of the city.

The experience of Girona, Costa Brava, and Pals was easily one the highlights of our trip while we were in Barcelona for 5 days. It was a great excursion for a break from the city. The views were breathtaking, and all of the places were seriously some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The host was accommodating, informative, and fun to be around. The food was great - we stopped in the beach town of Costa Brava and had amazing tapas with a Pina Colada.
The only con was the group we were with. We had other group tours in Barcelona with people whose company we genuinely enjoyed, but we were not lucky on this tour. It is a long day to be with people who are overly talkative or complainers. One thing I would change about the tour is the lunch together - I would have preferred to break from the group and eat separately since there were a ton of restaurant options and lunch was not included in the tour price anyway.
Another thing to note is that you are in the car for a long time on this tour (around 4 hours). If you get car sick, you might want to pack medicine and avoid the back seat.
Overall, I would book this group tour again and hope for a better group 😊

If you are visiting Barcelona, you must take this detour onto your itinerary and get out of the busy city. I would definitely do this again!
I highly recommend requesting Matt as your tour guide as he was extremely kind, knowledgeable and made the experience so much more enjoyable.
The journey there was very comfortable and the hotel pickup was very convenient. You are given enough time to explore the highlights of each location and Matt has great food recommendations too!
Remember to bring some towels, swimwear and a change of clothes so that you can have a nice swim at the end of the tour. A perfect way to end the day :)

Miquel did an amazing job of sharing his knowledge of Girona and Costa Brava while making the 8 hour experience fun and feel quick. Our lunch in Palafrugell was delicious, and all of the photo opportunities in Girona and Pals were punctured with memorable moments.
Highly recommend using the small group, it was so nice to make friends and share the experience with others!

I booked a small group tour with hotel pick up. I was expecting a tour van to show up but instead a private car came to pick me with just a driver. It was unexpected. I asked for a ID and he provided and explained that the van was full and so the guide came on a private car. It felt unusual to be in a car alone for 10 hour tour with a stranger but the guide Ruben make me feel comfortable and it was like private tour. He explained everything while driving and walk with me in Girona and pals and costa brava . Took lot of pictures for me. I enjoyed the view of country side and the medieval town s. I wish the company gave me a heads up that it will be a private tour so I knew what to expect.
Overall it was a trip worth taking.. if you like nature and history.

How many hours is this tour from pick up to drop off?
I read in responses that beach time is a few hours. During beach time are there other places close by to explore?

Depending on where you are staying & also others in the group are staying- our pick up was at 8.10am ( we were first to be collected) & our drop off at 6.30pm( last to be dropped off- we stayed a bit further out) We spent our entire time on the beautiful beach but if you're not a beach lover you'd have roughly an hour & a half to wander around. This day trip was the highlight of our stay in Barcelona- would highly recommend!

Can you please tell me if your mask mandate is still enforced for guides and travellers?
Also, my husband is hard of hearing, do you provide audio head pieces, or does the guide use some kind of speaker? It is difficult for my husband to hear what is said, especially if we are seated in the back.

The small and regular group tours are very different. With a small group tour you will be assigned to one of the agency’s tour guides who will pick you and the other tourists up at your respective hotels. This will be in their personal vehicle. You could absolutely arrange to be seated in the front. Just tell your guide when they text you the night before. Small group guides do not typically use speakers in the car or on the tour but I am also hard of hearing and it was never an issue - I just stayed close to the guide. Regular tours are in larger vehicles, often a bus. I have never been on one without headphones. Having said that it can be very difficult to hear over the headphones because the quality is poor (they are inexpensive, disposables). Also, for someone hard of hearing it can be difficult to understand the guide if they speak quickly and have a strong accent. I found the small group tours MUCH better than the bigger tours, simply because I COULD understand the guide. I hope this helps. Oh, we were in Spain January 2023 when masks were mandated on all public transport, so masks were worn without exception on the larger tours but never on the small group tours (because it was not considered public transport).
