Overview
Without renting a car, visiting Girona and Costa Brava from Barcelona is difficult in one day. This small-group tour lets you do it with ease, so you get the most from the stops along the way. Explore Girona and medieval villages, and experience Costa Brava’s cliffs and beaches by walking the Camino de Ronda coastal paths. If you wish, upgrade for a private tour.
What to Expect
Book your desired option and leave your Barcelona hotel by air-conditioned vehicle for Girona, known for its Roman and medieval past.

On arrival, take a walking tour through the narrow streets. See remnants of the Roman walls, admire stunning Girona Cathedral, and delve into the former Jewish Quarter, Europe’s best-preserved.

Take in the views of Girona’s colorful houses along the River Onyar, and continue to Costa Brava, stopping at medieval Pals en route. Hear how the village grew from a fortress as you stroll its cobbled lanes, and admire the Mediterranean and countryside panoramas from its viewpoints.

Visit the fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell and discover the ancient Caminos de Ronda pathways along the Costa Brava coast. Follow parts of these paths, once used by smugglers, to relax at tiny harbors or swim at beaches or coves.

Your trip then ends with a hotel drop-off in Barcelona.

Three beautifull destinations in one day!

I would definitely recommend this trip to others. A great way to experience a little more of Catalonia when you are visiting Barcelona. Thanks again Matt - you did a great job!
