- J5087WQisabellam0 contributionsAmazing Tour! This tour was so worth it. They pick you up directly from your apartment/hotel and the stops are amazing; some of the most beautiful views I've seen. Our guide Aleix was super knowledgable, kind, and funny. He accommodated our group really well and gave us a more local experience (less touristic). I went as a solo traveler (I am a study abroad student), but it's also great for families, friends etc. Highly recommend this tour!Written 14 February 2025

- C4108OSeugeniab0 contributionsExcellent and complete experience! Our excursion to Catalonia’s medieval villages was incredible, thanks to our guide, Ramón. He was patient, knowledgeable, and let us explore at our own pace, making sure we fully enjoyed each village’s charm and history. Unlike rushed tours, Ramón gave us time to soak in the atmosphere, take photos, and appreciate every detail. His passion for history and love for the region made the experience truly special. - calfette0 contributionsQuaint medieval towns in beautifully countryside well worth taking a day to visitOur tour guide,Ramon, had extensive knowledge about the areas that we were visiting. He went out of his way to explain the sites that we were saying, the historical background and insured that we were not rushed at any time during the tour. I don’t think I would’ve gotten to these places on my own or enjoyed them as much without having someone explain their significanceWritten 13 February 2025

- ninjamic0 contributionsMagnificent MountainA really fun tour that only Carlos could deliver. His intimate knowledge of Monserrat is second to none. His energetic and congenial vibe set the tone of the trip and the group loved it. Monserrat is simply stunning. Carlos drove us through a scenic route that showcased the magnificence of Monserrat. Naturally, La Morenita was the star of the show. We also rode up the funicular to get even better views up top. Even had time leftover to check out the museum. An overall wonderful tour.Written 13 February 2025

This was the small group tour, with a maximum of eight people. The price did not include the ticket entry to the Dali museum, which was surprising, since this is entitled a Dali tour. I am happy to have been on this tour, even if it was not perfect. The guy was kind, but not overly communicative. There also is pressure to eat or have coffee at certain locations where all the guides have arrangements. The value of the trip was really once we were inside the Dali museum as the guide became enlivened and shared his passion. for Dali’s‘s art. The information he shared was very valuable and made the trip worthwhile.

My husband and I joined 6 people and Anatoli for a great day visiting the Dali Museum and delightful medieval city of Girona. Anatoli filled the driving time with all kinds of interesting information about Catalan, the background of Salvatore Dali , the many dimensions of his work over his lifetime. Then when we arrived at the Museum- we were totally amazed with the size , the many mediums and spaces Dali used in his design of the Museum which was a restoration of an old theater to be his personal gallery and final resting place. Anatoli was very knowledgeable and key to introducing us to understanding the exhibitions. He was so well versed in understanding the symbolism and meanings of Dali’s very eccentric contemporary surrealist work. And he gave us the historical context of the many pieces of art and architecture.
The tour day was very enjoyable as to pacing, time in Figueras and Girona to have lunch and a coffee; nice recommendations for different restaurants, frequent opportunity for bathroom breaks, nice guided walks through Girona and free time to browse . It’s a full but fascinating learning adventure and worth every penny. If you have any interest or curiosity in Salvatore Dali, or surrealism, this is a lifetime opportunity.

I recently went on a 10-hour guided day tour to the Dali Museum and Girona, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide, Gaspar, was exceptional. He was not only patient but also had a wealth of fascinating historical facts to share with us throughout the day. His storytelling brought the history of each site to life, making the tour both educational and engaging. Even Gaspar's own life story was captivating, adding a personal touch to the experience. I left the tour with a huge smile on my face, feeling enriched and inspired. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the wonders of Dali and Girona with a knowledgeable and personable guide!

The tour itinerary was fine and the guide was knowledgeable when you could hear him. The people in the front of the van heard everything; those in the back heard nothing. I'd suggest supplying the individual headsets because it was difficult to hear the guide in the tighter areas where not all eight of the group could be close.

Logistics were flawless, the vehicle was clean and comfy, and guide Dulce was pleasant and accomodating. We would have liked her help navigating the confusing Jewish museum in Girona, where we were on our own for a too-short period of time. She recommended that we have lunch in Figueres at a ghastly, overpriced restaurant with foul bathrooms. We think she chose the place because it is right in front of Dali museum so she could keep us together and on schedule. Maybe there aren't better options. But that is one thing that could be improved. Otherwise, a fun and fine outing.

This Dali Tour is a must, our guide hit the highlights first with the guided tour before letting us explore on our own which helped us move around the Dali museum ourselves. Also, our guide explained details about Dali art pieces that wasn't disclosed to the eye. Lastly, our guide took us to see the important historical parts of Girona which was unique. Overall, having a guide to see both places I would recommend, so you are seeing the whole picture and not wasting time.

Ventura Highway met us with a smile and it last all day. As we journeyed towards the Dalia Museum , Ventura knowledge of the region and Dalia’s history is impressive. Once at the museum how he expressed his passion for each piece fought energy and enthusiasm of Dalia’s life. In Girona he combine current media and history that gave life to the city. I recommend Ventura to anyone who wants to challenge his interpretation of Dahlia’s works and become part of Girona.

This tour was so much fun and made for a perfect day. Matt was an excellent tour guide: knowledgeable, friendly, funny, personable, and warm. We learned a lot, and laughed a lot. The time with the guide mixed with individual time in each city was a great mix.
We would definitely recommend this tour, and would recommend Matt specifically.

Would recommend the Girona and Dalí museum excursion and guided tour to all! My family of 7 and I visited and spent the whole day exploring Roman historical sights in Girona and the evening at the Dalí museum! Safe trip ensured by new vans and Luis’ detailed explanations of Dalí’s life and art made this adventure worthwhile!

If you have extra days on your trip to Barcelona, I highly recommend doing this day trip to Girona and Figueres. Marcelo was an excellent tour guide, telling us all about both stops and answering all of our questions, and then also allowing us to explore on our own. The Dali museum is a must-do for art lovers and don’t miss walking the wall in Girona and taking in the views!

Hi,
I've have chosen the option for the later payment, but I'm still charged the full amount instead of 1 euro. Is it normal?
Do you have any discounts for kids?

Hola,
On the payment step I have chosen the option for the later payment, but I'm still charged the full amount instead of 1 euro. How can I solve that?
Do you have any discount for the children? I now see no difference between the costs for adults and children.

We will be traveling in September. Will Covid masks be required on the van, in the museums, and around the towns?
Written 20 June 2022
Mask weren't manditory anywhere in May. We were 4×vaccinated but wore ours in most indoor facilities and vehicles. We were in Spain for three weeks and came home COVID free. Who knows what September will bring.
Written 21 June 2022
Two questions.
For the small group tour, how much of the 10 hours is spent driving to Girona/returning from Figueres?
Questions above reference purchasing tickets to the Dali museum in advance. Is that necessary? Is there any chance we will get there and not be able to get in if we don’t purchase in advance?
Written 24 October 2021
The longest of the drives is to and from Barcelona. About 1.5 hours each way.
From Figueres to Girona is only about 45 minute or so.
The key when we went was that only so many people are allowed in at any given time due to COVID, so there is a potential to not get it, and if you drove an hour and half only to find out you have to wait some more; wouldn't make the tour as enjoyable.
