Dear Q7216OQfrankt Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our Sagrada Familia tour. It saddens me deeply to know you could not enjoy the tour to its fullest because of the accent of the guide. However, it is necessary to take into account our guides are officially accredited by the local government, and tested regularly in their language skills. Please note not all our tours are operated in English nor English only. We do offer time slots daily in which English is the only spoken language but we do offer bilingual tours too, which was your tours option. On a more positive note, I am glad you could enjoy the beauty of Sagrada Familia. Sincerely,

Barcelona to Montserrat

I did not know what to expect... my first visit to Barcelona. Gabby met me at Hotel Gallery and we walked to train station ... I thought it would be bus ride with a group! NO The ride was a fantastic experience so I can now navigate BCN trains like a pro! We walked/talked in Montserrat. I got an education! Gabby loves what she does and it shows:)
I will be back! and.. I will recommend my clients .. and I will ask to meet with her again!

Extraordinary building not to be missed
The tour was in both Spanish and English with the talk provided by the tour guide. He provided details about the structure. The basilica is very impressive and beautiful and well worth a visit. It was nice to be able to get in with very little waiting.

Not Necessarily and English Speaking Tour
Oct. 2021
First, the Sagrada is a MUST see! It is absolutely spectacular and worth every penny of your entrance fee...the interior is unbelievable.

We booked this tour for October 2021, the off-season for tourism. Based on the lines at the Sagrada ticket booth, I would have skipped paying extra for this tour. The lines were relatively short and you can do a self-guided tour with earphones. Consider the time of year and day of the week before paying extra for a fast track tour; really wasn't much faster.

The tour itself was frustrating because I thought I booked an English speaking tour. However, Julia Tours decides if you get an English speaking tour OR a bilingual tour and you won't know until you get there. We received the bilingual tour which led to our tour guide giving the tour in both English and Spanish. Based the little bit of Spanish I know, it was obvious on what I could understand and the amount of time our guide spoke in Spanish, the English version of the tour was much more condensed. Our tour guide was very nice and I have no idea if this was intention or not, but it was disappointing.

Confirm before you buy!

Dear Charli A, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on our Sagrada Familia tour. I sincerely regret to hear our tour did not live up to your expectations. Please note, not all our tours are operated in English nor in English only. We do offer time slots daily in which English is the only spoken language, but we do offer bilingual tours too, which was your tour's option. Nevertheless, I am glad to learn you enjoyed the visit to the Basilica. Best Regards, Alex B.

Best way to see Sagrada Familia
Though the lines weren’t terribly long to get in, having a bilingual guide made the visit much more informative and interesting. Marc was attentive to the group, moved efficiently through the cathedral, yet took time to answer questions. Having the wireless headsets to hear him was a real bonus. Definitely would recommend.

Great tour!
We really enjoyed the tour...our guide was awesome and did a great job! Sadly we couldn't climb the stairs to the top of the tower as this area is closed due to covid restrictions (which I didn't know before we arrived).

Beautiful building- not worth the tour fee though
We had an English/ Spanish tour of the building. We wish we had taken an English only tour as we felt like we only got half of the information we could have. Also towards the end of the tour, the guide’s English was barely understandable.
