The guide was excellent, the tour was perfect. My recommendation is to take the trip. It was very safe and Florencio knows a lot of local history.

Florencio picked us up at our hotel. Before the pickup he introduced himself via WhatsApp and told us the car he was driving. Took us across the island of beautiful Tenerife. We saw Los gigantos, Masca valley, Garachico. During the tour, he parked the car on several stops so we had plenty of time to take pictures. Told us allot about the history of the island and also from personal or from his father experience. A safe and considered driver. I even got some recipes out of it.

We planned an individual day tour across the island with Florencio and had a wonderful time. He is a charming, cheerful companion who showed us many new sides of the island with his extensive knowledge of the history of Tenerife and led us to places off the beaten path. Whether driving along the winding mountain roads, hiking along narrow paths, or eating in a guachinche, he was always concerned for our well-being and we could not have found a better and more entertaining guide for our private tour. A true heartfelt recommendation.

We booked the 4-hour Guachinche food tour in Tenerife for our small American group of three ladies. Not only were we the only people he was picking up that day, but Florencio was charming and the perfect balance of guide, participant and bystander. We started with a long trip up to the North to visit a winery carved into the seaside cliffs, with amazing views and an even more amazing history. Who knew an old stone house could be hiding underground vaults?! Not to mention it might be the best white wine I've ever tasted. Our tour guide unleashed us at that first stop where we lazily enjoyed the sunshine overlooking the ocean trying numerous wine pairings after the winery tour. We had no idea if there was a strict schedule because he just simply let us finish before making his presence known again. The next stop was to a free little wine museum and then onto the Guachinche for lunch. We were surrounded by young Tenerife families eating late lunches all while duckling families and a rooster were winding their way between our legs and around tables as we ate. It felt incredibly authentic and like we had been let in on a lovely secret. You could tell the staff were very chummy with the guide as well, we felt like honored guests. As a nice change of pace, our guide enjoyed lunch WITH us and even ordered for us when we asked him to give us the local experience. It did not disappoint and the wine tasted like peach nectar. He even let us get a bonbon with dessert! One more hop in the car to head home and we were properly saucy. Lots of American pop music c. 2002 was on the radio and he was rather willingly subjected to our backseat renditions of the Backstreet Boys. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. For a small group it's an absolute win. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and interacting with our guide. If we ever make it back to Tenerife, we will be requesting this one again. Salud! Mucho vino!

We book for a private tour with Florenzo, and it was one of the best decisions, he is a very pleasant company, friendly, polite, funny and with very good knowledge about all the places, he made sure we are comfortable all the time took us pictures and made sure we make the best of our trip.
