Overview
Escape the busy beaches on Tenerife’s southern coast and sail out into the wide Atlantic on board a Turkish gulet for a wildlife-watching cruise. Get an intimate look at the resident bottlenose dolphins and pilot whales in their natural habitat, and look out for migratory species too, including turtles, seabirds, and sperm whales, while learning more about the marine life from your experienced crew.
What to Expect

Meet your group and captain at a location on the Los Cristianos Harbour. Board your Turkish gulet, a wooden sailing vessel, and set off into the Atlantic, to visit Tenerife’s cetaceans in their natural habitat.

Enjoy the cool sea breeze and admire views of Mount Teide and Tenerife’s southern coast as you ride the waves. Look out for the water’s resident species, the pilot whale and bottlenose dolphin, and learn more about the marine life from the experienced crew. If you’re lucky, you may even see migratory species too, such as sea turtles, sperm whales, and jellyfish.

Conclude your cruise back at your original point of departure.

The lady with dark hair (cant remember her name) is essentially the whale whisperer. She whistles to the pilot whales to come over and plays nice music to them. The whole time was very respectful to the whales and felt entirely at ease. Even if...More
