An interesting excursion below the sea surface, but cramped, humid, fumes and risk of seasickness. Not recommended.
The passenger area is very cramped, the swell induces seasickness and it is very humid. Virtually the only fish seen were in the harbour before the engine started and we left the dock area. The boat suffers from excessive vibration and the engine is noisy, which seemed to frighten the fish away when leaving the harbour. The front and rear hatches are left open which seems to allow diesel fumes into the passenger area. Only consider this excursion if the sea is flat calm if you suffer from seasickness. The cramped nature of the passenger compartment below the sea surface could make visitors who suffer from claustrophobia feel very unpleasant. The viewing windows are large and allow a good view of the sea about 2m below the surface but are quite dirty so makes photography challenging. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this excursion, I couldn't wait for the 30 minutes to end so I could get out!

        Dolphins Day Off
Multi lingual hosts on board Spirit of the Sea! The crew could not have looked harder for any sea life but, like us, the dolphins must have been on holiday!!! They do offer a free return trip however, if you have time. No where on your website, for this particular trip, does it say there is a swimming stop! Not prepared! This needs to be mentioned.

A perfect tour for the mountains of northern Gran Canaria.
Very pleasant tour in the mountains. Fortunately, the weather was great and the views spectacular. The guide was very interesting and helpful and the driver was perfect on the mountain roads. If you want to see the main spots in the mountains of northern Gran Canaria, this is the trip for you. Highly recommended.

Do not book this tour, save your time and money. Do a better tour.
Don't book this tour. The tour operator cancelled our booking the night before our tour, saying they could not accommodate due to capacity issues. We had booked this trip a month before and for them to say this the night before indicates they either didn't bother doing the tour or took a different group that booked last minute instead. Absolute time wasters AVOID. Those looking for a similar tour can find a good one we found that has more than a handful of reviews like this one does, that other tour was great, and they laughed about us booking this tour originally as the tour guide here is known for being useless.

        Misleading!
Can't give a review as we were not picked up! We spoke to the guide on our Friday tour who said he would pick us up at the same place (our hotel) and the same time. When he failed to arrive I tried to ring him, but his mobile was not accepting calls. I made a complaint to TUI, who said that I couldn't get a refund as we had failed to arrive! Please check your tickets for the pickup location and don't rely on the guide!

Excellent tour of the South Island.
Excellent tour. Well organised. Amazing volcanic scenery. Visits to the camels, emerald lake and winery were interesting. The morning pickups took some time which was the only downside. Recommended.

        Memorable dolphins in ocean
Never ever imagined seeing so many live dolphins in an ocean dancing and enjoying fully . The boat / trawler journey on sea ocean and back was marvellous. Wish we were allowed to do some fishing which would have been a unique opportunity and become a memorable experience

Good view of the island with pushy sales pitch
Views were amazing and Paul the tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. We didn’t spend much time at the park centre though was mainly the camel ride area and the vineyard the end. Was overall a nice half day trip and for the price I would recommend.

        Good in parts
First the good bits: the guide Antonia was informative and the tour around Timanfaya National Park and the displays at the centre (hot stones, burning brushwood etc. ) were interesting. Definitely better to do this on an organised tour as the queues for people in cars were extremely long. Before that we did the camel ride which I wasn’t initially bothered about but decided to do it as was only 11 euros extra. This was surprisingly fun. The less good bits were having to change buses and wait around at the start while other groups joined us. Also the wine tour was not a tour at all, you are led into a dark room where you get to try a tiny sample of 1 of 2 wines. The one I had was ghastly (personal preference of course) but this cannot be sold as a tour. The lunch was average, an extra 14 euros and debatable if it was worth it but you’re a bit captive. Bring your own sandwich instead as there is a place to sit and picnic instead. Not a bad day out but I wouldn’t do it again.

Guided day tour Coast2Coast & La Graciosa
A full on day, picked up from resort then up to Lagomar - Omar Sharif briefly lived there, a stunning artist designed house inspired by César Manrique. Then onto the Cactus Gardens for a visit - who knew there were so many Cacti. Then onto Orzola for the ferry to La Graciosa where we had a wander, a paella lunch with wine and then time for the beach and to explore further. We loved it and would like to return to La Graciosa. A multinational tour and our guide for the day, Rachel, was excellent although translation three ways slowed things down. Finally returned to resort. Great value.

Be prepared for cancellations in gran canaria
It was cancelled without explanation which isn’t unusual here. I was angry as places on tours were almost impossible to get generally and this was my last day and I could not get a place on any other decent tour. Be warned about booking anything in gran canaria as my motorcycle booking was cancelled too.

Book with the company directly when you get here instead of online!
My biggest problem was with the online booking company through TripAdvisor Tour2b. They emailed me before the holiday to say they reduced the tour from three hours to two and a half- I was concerned that this reduction meant we could no longer swim off the boat and the online company said that swimming was no longer an option but they would pick us up from our hotel. They didn’t pick us up as they hadn’t added us to the pick up list. So they rebooked us for the afternoon, we got there and didn’t see any animals and we found at the end of the tour there WAS a swimming point but as I had been told differently I didn’t bring my swimsuit. The tour operator on the boat was very nice and gave us a voucher for another trip but I booked this trip for my birthday and I was really disappointed by the whole experience. I would not have been so disappointed to not have seen anything if the rest of the day was not such a mess.

        A great day out
We are a couple in our late twenties and we really enjoyed this park - the animals are clearly well cared for which was lovely to see and the animals were friendly with opportunities to feed various baby animals such as piglets and goat kids. We got to ride on a horse for a couple of minutes around the Main Street which was lovely and the entry price is very good for the four shows that we got to enjoy. The actors were great and they made the effort to have bilingual Spanish and English characters and the stories were easy to follow so the majority of visitors can understand. Drinks reasonably priced! Would recommend for an adults trip as well as families.

        What a brilliant day
Just wow , what a wonderful experience we saw lots of pilot whales and seas up so close .beautiful scenery and the chance to take a swim . The staff were fantastic friendly and the guide was informative. The food wasn’t to my taste but I am pretty fussy and I still managed to get by . Lots of drinks on tap ( self serve) toilets were clean with enough to mean no queues . I’ve been on a few of these excursions and this by far beats them all hands down . I highly recommend

Great day with the crew Jesus and Lauri who made the dream team finding and explaining about dolphins and pilot whales which were a plenty. Great swimming stop with good food to follow.

Had an amazing day. The communication beforehand was very good, let us know where to meet. The company picked us up from our hotel and took us to the dock. The boat was clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and approachable. On the way out we got to see dolphins! There were so many of them and they came right up to the boat. We went swimming. They were very thorough in checking they had everyone back on the boat (I have an irrational fear that I’m going to be left in the water) and then had a lovely lunch. On the way back we had live music and everyone was up dancing. Highly recommend!! Wonderful trip.

      You must do this!
Yes, expensive but with drinks on tap, dolphins leaping in front of you, swimming to a nearby secluded beach, decent snack lunch, music and dancing on the way back.
      BRILLIANT!
One of the guests was a professional gospel singer. WOW that made the day just better!

My wife and I go on sailing trips each time we go away. This trip unfortunately did not reach our expectations. The boat seemed too busy for the size. Space was limited due to numbers. We left the harbour and sailed a small way up the coast turned around and sailed back along the same coastline. We moored up a little way off the coast for lunch and snorkelling however there was very little marine life to see. There was entertainment on board which was a man on guitar and his wife sang they also allowed their small daughter to sing. After lunch we sailed another small part of the coast then again turned and returned to the harbour. Unfortunately not an excursion that I would recommend

Went on this trip 2 years ago and unfortunately this time wasn't as good. The host didn't speak much English so missed out on what was being said. The entertainer was a man and woman singer who brought along there young kids and allowed them to sing (felt like a poor family karaoke) and not a professional outfit this time, and yes it was Magic Select both times and the captain was the same on both trips. Food was bland. Might have to try the deluxe next time.

The boat trip was relaxing, the staff were extremely helpful and looked after everyone on board and plus side we got to see some dolphins while travelling around. I think the only thing that would have made it better would be comfier seats/mats on the boat to sit and lie on. But that is being picky the trip overall was excellent.

Went today on this trip and wasn't disappointed....
      Amazing, friendly and fun staff
Sailed out and saw dolphins and turtles
Then onto a cove with clear waters for a swim whilst the crew prepared our meal...
All food and different drinks were included in the price
