- Bedujoop0 contributionsInteresting trip to a very dry Doñana National ParkThe guide already warned us when we left: That Doñana had not seen any serious rain for months and what were supposed to be marshes and wetlands were just bone-dry plains. But we saw plenty deer and birds and the sunset was beautiful. Very much enjoyed the explanations by the guide.Written 17 October 2022

- Oana G0 contributionsA relaxing and effective way to make day trips from SevilleA relaxing and effective way to make day trips from Seville We chose to visit everything we could by choosing the transport option offered by Descubre. Very punctual, information about places visited, flexibility in the program. Manuel, Victor very nice people, with good knowledge about places, very friendly made our days unforgettable. Very easy to communicate with, they come directly to the hotel, they took us directly to the attractions we wanted, so we saved time and money. Very important, which I also thank for this post, their willingness to respond to any of our demands, some may be harder to achieve, but they have made everything possible. I recommend with all confidence, for any kind of tour!Written 20 January 2020
- Mobile585393008460 contributionsWonderful day tour to Ronda and two white villagesVictor was an excellent driver and a knowledgeable guide. He knew all we wanted to learn about Ronda and the two white villages we visited on our day trip. He also knew a lot about the plants and trees we saw.Written 15 November 2019
- Michael Z0 contributionsWhite villagesAmazing trip with wonderful villages in rocks and on the rocks. Our guide, Victor was very helpful providing us with lots of information and facts about the villages and he is just a very pleasant and nice guy. Recommend the tour without any doubts.Written 20 October 2019
- DoraJ7690 contributionsWhite Villages Tour.Pueblos Blancos. We had a great day visiting 3 beautiful villages, Zahara de la Sierra, Sentil de las Bodegas and Ronda. Our tour guide was Manuel, who was incredibly passionate throughout our tour. His knowledge of the area and wildlife was impressive. The trip was timed well as we had plenty of time for coffee and take in sights in Zahara. We had a quick tour with Manuel in Setenil and then a short free time. In Ronda ,Manuel gave us a guided tour first of the town and then had 2 hours of free time to take in the sights and lunch. The trip was a pleasant 10 hours in total in a small group. There were 7 of us plus the driver/tour guide. We would highly recommend this tour, it was perfect for us.Written 21 September 2019
- tomjet30 contributionsLONG and eventful day.Manual was our guide and driver. he was right on time and very kind and also an excellent and safe driver. We saw SOOO much. many picturesque stops were provided. The towns of Zahara, Setenil and finally Ronda. ALL so beautiful and unique. We had some alone time for coffees in Zahara and also for lunch in Ronda. Manuels english wasn't great but neither is our Spanish but we made it work. His enthusiasm for the history, the area, the wildlife was impressive. Such a great guide. It was about 11 hours total from door to door so be prepared. Totally worth it!Written 7 July 2019
- kit98760 contributionsDay trip to Zahara, Setenil and Rhoda while we stay in SevilleWhite villages were beautiful and worth to visit. The weather on that day was superb though the temperature was a bit lower than normal and windy in Zahara. House in the cave in Setenil is so amazing. Rhoda is such a pretty town with lots of historical buildings. Glad to have such wonderful experience in white villages. Staff of Descubre was friendly and responsible.Written 17 June 2019
- LuisM23940 contributionsCharming trip through the andaluz contrysidePicked up at the hotel on time, comfortable transportation. This full day trip (back in time for dinner) takes you through the beautiful country side through valleys, hills and mountains. We visited three white houses towns, nestled on different points of the mountains. The details of the charm of the towns I leave it to you to discover. Accessible to children and older people, some mild climbing to do. Was worth it.Written 2 June 2019
- SkyeFortWorth_Texas0 contributionsCouldn't be better!"Pueblos Blancos y Ronda" including Zahara, Setinel and Ronda was a fantastic day out to three beautiful white towns in Andalucia, thanks to the small group (6 of us) and our excellent guide Victor. He was not only one of our best guides ever (and we travel a lot) but the nicest. The other four in our group were from Mexico City, so it was a two-language tour but not a problem at all. Victor was kind and considerate and spoke in Spanish so slowly and clearly, with hand gestures, that I could understand much of it with my minimal Spanish. And of course everything was also explained in English. Victor gave us all of the information we could possibly want, without loading us down with a lot of forgettable details, and he even gave us an extra hour so we would enjoy a leisurely lunch with our new friends. We found a fabulous restaurant in Ronda, a teensy bit on the high end for Spain (but moderate for the U.S.) with great service and the best food we have had on this 4 week trip. It is on the Plaza del Socorro, by the number 32 on the map that Victor will give you (sorry, don't remember the name), NW corner of the intersection with the pedestrian street Espinel and the cross street Los Remedios on the plaza. Do not take a white villages trip that does not include Setenil; it is magical! Renting a car would have been much more difficult and we would have missed so much. Book with Descubre and ask for Victor! We used the travel agent on the NE corner of Constitucion and Santo Tomas for two day trips; they were extremely helpful and didn't give a hard sell at all, in fact were generous with directions and advice for public transportation.Written 23 April 2019
- asarianides0 contributionsExcellent!!Great day with a drive through the Andalusian countryside with our guide, Victor! This company runs a professional and first class business. We had a clear understanding of where to meet our guide. We were able to visit and see beautiful places that we wouldn't have made it to otherwise. We were a small group of 7 and we had ample time at each of our stops (the lovely Zahara, the very unique Setenil, and, of course, Ronda!) We were in Seville during Semana Santa and things were a bit hectic crowded, to say the least. Victor went out of his way to make sure he did his best to drop us off as close to our hotel as possible at the end of our trip. Can't recommend these guys highly enough!Written 18 April 2019

- Gina S0 contributionsGreat tour!We took a tour from Sevilla to Ronda, Zahara and Setinel. We were given instructions where to meet the driver and we got there he was waiting. Our tour guide was Victor and he spoke English. We were lucky that day to be the only 2 people that had booked and they did not cancel on us, yet made it a private tour. We went to 3 locations and the day was perfect. This is the only tour I could find that would visit both Ronda and Setinel. Our first stop was in Zahara and Victor walked around with us and showed us some sights then we were given 45 minutes to shop and grab food if wanted. From there we went to Setinel and I am so glad that we found this tour that included this gem of a city. It is built into the side of the caves and it is a sight that is amazing to see. We again walked around and then had time to shop and eat. From there we went to Ronda where we walked with Victor for a while and then were given free time. All of the other tours we looked at included a stop at the the olive oil areas and we were not interested in this. We were driven in a new van that would have held 12 tourists and the driver so for us this is better than a large bus. I would definitely recommend this tour.Written 14 April 2019
- yrtx4e0 contributionsDay Tour to White Village and RondaA full day tour with pick-up from hotel in Sevilla, our Driver-Guide Victor in fluent English and of course Espanol, had led a informative and picturesque tour to Zahara, Sentenil and Ronda. Scenic drive through Andalusia. Climbing up winding road to Zahara and great explanation on the unique buildings under and above rock enclaves in Sentenil. These two small villages have their own character and we enjoyed a short lunch in one of the bistro. In Ronda, Victor showed us the circular route to take the most picturesque shots of the bridge hovering the gorge between the old and new town of Ronda. A bit disappointment of the town - only the bridge is worth. The tourist blogs seems overrated the town. Overall we had a great trip with Victor of Descubre that we recommend.Written 3 April 2019

Lovely day! Wonderful visits to Zahara and Grazalema, charming villages with oodles of photo ops; then on to Ronda, with its spectacular chasm, and great, sweeping views of the valley and mountains from the park. Bus was comfortable, and we had good conversations with other passengers. Lara was informative and delightful, and our driver, Rafa, professional and skillfully navigated country roads in the mountains. Great full day trip!

Excelente recorrida. One year ago - short before corona - my husband and I were guided by Victor through this wonderful landscape of the white villages. We were very much impressed by this mountainous region and the beautiful sight we had on the lake from the top of Zahara. Together with an American couple Victor guided us in perfect English through Zahara, Setenil and Ronda. He helped us finding special food and took photographs of us at all the many beautiful places. It was a also a very informative day (9th March 2020). Today it is exactly one year we enjoyed this tour and my husband and I are often remembering it. Thanks a lot.

This was an absolutely gorgeous day. Each of the villages was beautiful in its own way and I appreciated having free time to wander through each of them. It was easy to find the best photo spots and the guides were helpful with directions. The olive oil factory was a short stop. Breakfast and lunch were free time / not included in cost, so you can pack your lunch with you to maximize your sightseeing time or enjoy the cute cafes and tapas in the town squares if you don't want to walk as much. A very relaxing and memorable day

It turns out all these listings for Ronda are all the same. I chose to pay extra for this one with “Descubre” because I wanted to avoid the tour from “Naturanda” that included an olive oil tasting which every review mentioned as a waste of time. Lo and behold, this is the same - a third listing for the same tours except all are at different prices (€79, €89, €110) It wasn’t a small group, instead with about FIFTY people. I didn’t avoid the issues with the guide explaining things in multiple languages. I feel totally ripped off and will be asking for a partial refund as this same tour was listed for cheaper than what I paid. Unfortunately this is one of the only tours that go to Ronda from Seville, or else you have to find your own way. They even have the same line, as I found out from a friend who did the same tour earlier in the week: “this is only my second tour speaking English”, and of the 50, 4 spoke Spanish. Avoid this and try to do Ronda on your own. Not sure why they still include the olive oil portion when everyone clearly hates it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and towns. The lunch spot was great. Maria, our guide was very pleasant. She had to converse in both English and Spanish. I was disappointed that COVID restrictions were not maintained; people were not made to wear masks on the bus, even though Maria told them they had to. When we got to the olive oil mill individuals were eating multiple times and other could not even get up to the plates to try the bread and the olive oil. Then some of the individuals were double-dipping their bread (would take a bite and then stick it back in the olive oil). That same group of people were hollering on the bus and were very loud the entire time, did not use headphones on their devices and were rude to Maria. There needs to be more control over this tour. Also, once we got to Ronda, it was pouring down rain and cold. We should have planned to leave earlier than what was planned due to the rain and have another location to meet back with the group. Everyone was having to stand and wade through water and we were all sopping wet (especially our feet.

Boring. The olive oil mills was just a load of rusty machinery….not even working and a video. The villages were pretty but not much to see. The guide dragged us on a long walk in searing heat to see a bridge. We had to take refuge in a restaurant to recover and then the long coach journey back. No pickup from our hotel so another long walk after an hot, stuffy day to get back to the hotel. Was some interesting dialogue on the way there but much too much on the way back when we were all tired

This trip is very relaxing to see the white villages with Manuel our guide. He is very knowledgeable & also a safe driver especially through the winding roads to the villages. He is very passionate about the area & I can see why. It is lovely to escape the city & so peaceful. It was a long day but oh so worth it.

The meeting time is was 15 mins early and whoever called me on the phone the morning of was rude. They acted as if i knew the meeting time and was familiar with the city - they gave me some other pick up point (gladly, I was in a taxi and the driver was able to talk to the person from the agency and I made to the trip) but overall pretty rude and poor communication. Rhonda is worth a stop but otherwise this is just an ok trip.
Take pictures at Ronda from above, you need to climb down quite a bit to get a picture everyone is taking and it will take you a while. Plan to wear appropriate shoes.
Bullfight arena was much better experience than I expected - highly recommended.
