About
Do not miss this opportunity to visit a piece of the UK in southern Spain on this day trip from Seville to Gibraltar. The territory of Gibraltar reaches only 6.8 km2 out into the Strait of Gibraltar. This peninsula is home to the rock of gibraltar which is not only a spectacular natural marval but also holds a large amount of history. Having been fought over for centuries witness first hand the collision of cultures embedded in the rock. Also, see the very friendly macaques (monkeys). Take a day to experience this amazing place and make sure to look out into the strait, you might be able to see Africa!

We were picked up in Seville and taken to Gibraltar with a minivan. The trip took about 2.5 hours. After arriving and crossing the border we walked to the center of Gibraltar where we met our taxi driver/guide. He showed us the main sights on the Rock. In the afternoon we had 2 hours freetime to have lunch and walk in the center. We got back to Seville in the evening at about 7.30. The trip was more than we imagined, our guide was nice, highly recommended!!!

We primarily chose to do a tour to Gibraltar so that we could avoid having to worry about travelling there, getting around, and pre-planning anything. However, one should know, like we did, that when going on a tour, you sacrifice some level of freedom to stay longer at certain places. While of course we would have liked more time at each stop, not having to worry about the travel to and from Seville, it was worth it for us. Petra was very helpful and kind. The tour operators were extremely responsive in scheduling a pick-up location for us.

Bus picked us up from Sevilla centre, roughly 2 hours ride to Gibraltar, including a stop for breakfast in the middle. When we got there the guide informed us we had to walk through the airport which is at the border (and he wasn't sure if they would let him through cos his passport was expired) - I'm not sure if this is always required, but in any case it takes away 15-30min of your time to see the actual city / rock.

When we got to the city centre, another tour bus was meant to take us on a tour of the rock, but for some reason couldn't pick us up from the centre, so we had to walk around for another 15/20min to get to the pickup point (which we only found after i looked for it on google maps cos the guide didn't know how to find!)

Finally the tour began, and it was informative and fun, though terribly short. We spent barely 10min at Europa point and maybe 30min in St Michael's cave. We didn't see any of the rock or its views from the outside, except for the entrance of the cave.

While it was nice to see Gibraltar and the cave, the tour is very much overpriced considering the above deficiencies.

We met up with the others on the trip at the Tour office to meet with our guide Pedro. Pedro was nice and stayed with us the entire trip even though he could not work in Gibraltar. This was helpful as you could ask him questions or recommendations for your free time. Our Gibraltar tour guide, Daniel, was not only knowledgeable but also humorous throughout the tour. I will say most people on the tours want to spend more time at certain places but because you're on a tour, that's not possible. You have to stay on time to get to the different spots and while people complain, it should be understood by everyone.

I will say the cave is a fun experience but the time with the monkeys is what everyone desires. Don't skip the cave but you can breeze through it in order to get more time with the monkeys. There are also several stops up on the rock so if you're wary of heights, please be forewarned. Be prepared to walk as well as your exit from Gibraltar begins within the city center, through the air strip, and back through passport control to Spain.

One last thing about currency, just use your credit card as it's easier just to have your credit card company give you the better exchange rate.

Overall, great trip that was well worth the experience.

We booked a tour to Gibraltar at a significant cost for a family of four with young kids. The day before this tour operator messaged us saying they had to change the start time and leave much earlier from a different meeting point, which was all very inconvenient. They did not tell us (1) that they had transferred us to another company, (2) that they had given us the wrong meeting spot, (3) that they had not given the new company our current contact information. We ultimately pieced this all together ourselves in the morning with a madcap last minute race in a taxi to the new spot with two young kids in tow. I sent a note to them on WhatsApp noting what had happened. No response. And we saw other groups from this company in Gibraltar — so maybe they just didn’t have a bus full and so cancelled their own tour. There are plenty of your operators in Seville. I would not use this one ever again.

Everything positive written by other reviewers is correct. Pablo picked us up on this well organised informative tour. It was an enjoyable day and felt it was good value for money. Pablo even paid for a bus for us so we didn't need to walk 500m in the heat. Good balance of tour and free time and great recommendation for lunch at Roy's fish and chips. Take £ if you have them but not totally necessary.

Our day trip from Seville to Gibraltar was well worth the time and money. Our group consisted of 7 adults plus Pablo, our excellent tour guide. The small size of the group was a very pleasant surprise. The tour was a good mix of information, sights to experience and free time. The infamous tail less monkeys were very entertaining. The tour was fun, well organized, and didn't feel rushed. Pablo was personable, informative and patiently answered questions. My one criticism is that it was difficult to hear him in the vehicle itself as he gave information on the drive to Gibraltar. Some type of microphone would have really enhanced the trip. Luckily, I was in the front and so it wasn't an issue for me, however I heard a number of comments from those in the group who sat in the backseats. This would be an eady fix and I hope the company does so.

We booked our tour through Naturanda and our guide was Miguel. What can I say, from the moment we started to the end of the tour, Miguel saw us through to our delight and satisfaction. He enjoys his work and shines through through. Efficient, warm and professional and knowledgeable. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our trip to the Rock and thank you Naturanda.
