      Interesting Nazi Rally Grounds Tour
The Nazi Rally Grounds tour in Nuremberg was very interesting and well worth the time we spent. Our tour guide Dimitri was very knowledgeable about that time period and we appreciated his insights and the information he shared with us. It was a sobering reminder of that era and something that everyone should be exposed to.

      Definitely worth doing!
Definitely worth doing this tour, Natasha our guide was really knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The tour lasted over 4 hours but we had a 30 minute break in the middle so we were able to get some lunch from the market and use the facilities. I learnt so much history about the Old Town and about the Nazi Party Rally grounds was really interesting and am so glad we added it into our Christmas market weekend.

      Great historical tour of Nuremberg.
Our guide, Paul, has an unbelievable level of knowledge of the history of not only Nuremberg, but the world. He has a personal connection to Nuremberg which helps bring things to life. He showed his compassionate nature when he stopped his lecture to help a woman with a cane struggling to walk up a hill carrying bags of groceries. He kept the group on time for transportation. The tour was supposed to be 4 hours, but due to his love of the topic and the city it lasted 5 1/2 hours. It was a great day and we were very fortunate to have Paul as our guide.

      Berlin Walking Tour
Our guide, Andrew, helped make our walking tour extremely interesting and even allowed us to forget how long we were walking. We were able to see the beauty of Nuremberg and at the same time understand the rich history of the city. We also were able t experience some of the food and drinks unique to the area. We really appreciate that Firebird Tours arranged this private tour for us.

Get your steps in as you learn much about Nürnberg!
Paul was a fantastic tour guide! He kept the pace going through Old Town Nürnberg, stopping at good intervals to provide interesting history & stories that kept us engaged. There was so many neat things to learn about the various churches, buildings & places in Old Town. He even brought us to a stall that gave us a piece of the traditional gingerbread cookies. You are given a short time in the Christmas Market and then time for lunch that has traditional Franconian food. You then take a public bus to get to the Nazi Rally Grounds. You walk for a little bit to the grounds, so be sure to wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes. It is crazy that you can actually stand where Hitler once did! Paul covers a broad range of Germany’s history as you walk through areas that are discussed. If you really want to learn about Nürnberg and get some local history… sign up for this tour!

Free and easy nuremburg old town.
Went on our own. Not on conducted tour. Free and easy to explore. The old town pretty easy to navigate using Google map. Informative. There's a history to the city's canal. Do read about it at tge dign board. Worth a visit.

Nuremberg echoes the past as one views remains in the present
Nuremberg was nearly destroyed during WWII, but some of the original gateways and watchtowers remain. It was the site of Zeppelin Field's Nazi rallies and later as the site of the war crimes trials at the Palace of Justice. Pictured are remains of the field with huge granite seating areas and the raised podium from where Hitler gave his speeches.

Nazi documentation Center & rally grounds
Wonderful museum that explores Nurnberg's role in the Nazi movement. The rally grounds are huge and the courthouse where they held the trials of the nazi war criminals was chilling.

Lucia - an excellent guide, well worth it
We are so pleased that our guide was Lucia! A truly exceptional tour on a difficult subject. Lucia allowed us to take our time when needed and we were able to see everything. She provided a lot of the history on the train ride over which helped prepare us to move through the camp. It was well worth the cost and the value of the tour was immeasurable. We give Lucia 10 out of 5 stars!

      Great tour
Jason was our guide and spoke excellent English. The tour of Old Nuremberg was so interesting.Jason knew his history and was very informative. The nazi rally grounds were a bit disappointing. Not a lot to see, but Jason was very good at making the grounds come alive. Only thing was Jason walked a bit fast for some of the tour members

      Very informative and interesting
Our tour started in front of the Nuremberg train station. Our guide, Dimitri, spoke English very well. Once all were assembled, it was off on our 4 hour walking tour. That may seem like a long time but it went by very quickly. He led us through the Old Town section of Nuremberg, adding his own personal experiences as well as the history of the town. Visited the Castle to get a fantastic view of the area. Lots of history. Lunchtime saw us wandering around the town square for bite to eat at one of the many vendors assembled today. Delicious bratwurst and sweet treats abound! Afterwards it was off to the Nazi Rally grounds. We took a public bus to get there as it’s too far to walk. Dimitri told us about the history of the area and what plans the Nazi’s had for the area. After that portion of the tour,it was back to the starting area via trolley car. Very well presented. Wished we had more time to go back to some of the sites for a more in-depth look at things but we were only here for 2 nights. You need several days to fully explore the town. As far as this tour, it was well worth it. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for the uphill climb to the castle. Dimitri was a very good tour guide.

Great way to see Nuremberg and learn about its history.
Definitely worth doing. Tour guide was very interesting and covers a lot in the time. There’s a lot of walking but it’s at a slow pace.

We had a fantastic day on our tour of Nuremberg with our Guides Susanne. Her knowledge of the history of Germany and in particular Nuremberg was phenomenal. We enjoyed our time with her from start to finish. We would definitely book another tour with this Company if we are ever blessed enough to return to Germany.
