Nic was amazing! Along the way to the castle, he regaled us with the history of King Ludwig II and of the Bavarian countryside. It was quite useful for our visit to the castle and made it more enjoyable! The castle itself is tucked away in the Alps surrounded by rock formations and luscious forests. It is indeed stunning! I would highly recommend this tour as there is nothing quite like it. There is a guided tour in the castle at an extra charge of just ten euros but it is worth it to see the beauty inside!

Steveo was a great guide to the Neuschwanstein Castle. He was very knowledgeable and was sarcastic, which made him fun to listen to as he gave the oral history of Munich and the castle. He went above in beyond in making sure we caught the bus up to the castle on time, checked to make sure we had the best chance at a photo op on the bridge, and was great at pointing out little things during the castle tour. I would definitely recommend Steveo if you want a fun time!

I would not recommend this tour. It seemed the guide was trying too hard to be cute and folksy. It was annoying. If you don’t mind that then go for it.

Fabulous tour. We’ve been on several during our trip in Bavaria and this was by far the most informative and exciting guide yet. Steveo was part expert, part comedian, part Shepard. He even helped others around us. We felt like we were hearing a roast whilst learning so much. Lots of laughs and lots of memories.

Steveo was very entertaining. Made sure that we got everywhere on time and pulled a few favors to enhance the experience.

I have made several reservations with Viator before. i have a trip coming up with 4 reservations. I needed to change the payment method since my card was lost and I got a new one. The website has opens up a page to enter the info but no button to save it. I tried various browswers. The customer service center keeps telling me different stories and they want to cancel my reservations and book again. Totally pathetic third rate expereience this time that has left a bitter taste in my mouth. The Philipinos just keep aplogizing but I am not sure the brilliant person who coded the website will get to know of the issue.

A very informative tour! Our tour guide, Nic, was great. He pointed out and discussed important sights and history, and kept our interest throughout. We saw some historic buildings and learned about some pivotal events in Germany’s history. Highly recommend, especially for history buffs!

Stevco was one of the best tour leaders my partner and I have ever had. He was knowledgeable but at the same time, extremely entertaining in his presentation of what could have been some dry historical facts on Munich’s history. It was a very cold, windy day in October when we took the tour but with Stevco’s charming personality and enthusiasm, we forgot about the weather and just enjoyed the time spent getting to explore Munich.

This tour was better than I expected. Our tour guide was Michael. He is very knowledgeable and easy to follow along with, he also has a great sense of humor so that makes learning history even more enjoyable. As expected, wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking.

Tom did an amazing job. He is funny, considerate, and very knowledgeable. Thank you, Tom!! This tour really satisfied my desire to understand more about Nazi beginnings in Munich, and getting to learn about these things in the places it happened was incredible.
