About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Penelope R0 contributionsStressfulThe time and location changed. Despite leaving in good time and being sent photos (of an industrial estate) and being on the phone to the tour operator we missed the boat as it was NOT where we were told, as did 4 other tables. Very confusing location, little help from the tour operator on how to get from the nearest tube and a most stressful few hours.Written 11 January 2025
- 876colettej0 contributionsAmazing siteThe only downfall of this trip was that we had to go in a coach. In the last couple of years, we had gone in a van and the trip was much shorter. While we understand that a coach cannot be driven at the speed of a van, it shortens tremendously the amount of time you can spend at Mont St. Michel. It was bitterly cold as there was a lot of wind coming from the sea, but the tour was, as before, extraordinary. It always makes you think how they were able to build such an incredible basilica and fortress and how it has endured through centuries. The drive is worth it to see this Eighth Wonder of the world. People who have gone cannot forget its impact, the beauty, the exceptional uniqueness of this castle on its island. This is my fourth trip to Mont St. Michel with TripAdvisor and they always do an excellent job but try to go there in a van instead of a coach as you will have at least an additional 1.5 hours to enjoy the visit.Written 5 January 2025

- Malc9870 contributionsChristmas Dinner Cruise on the SeineWe read reviews people saying it was hard to find so went to the embarkation point that afternoon so we were sure where to go. We arrived that evening in plenty of time and they were already boarding, there were two queues but no information as to which to join. We eventually boarded great seat at the very front however it was cold there. We set off and I was disappointed we turned around before Notre Dame it clearly states on the advert it is one of the sights. There was no commentary we thought at least places were at least pointed out with a little history. The food to be honest was very poor we expected much higher standard, this was the worse city river cruise we have done and we have done a good few. It is definitely over priced for the quality of the experience.Written 31 December 2024
- Voyager120243992850 contributionsWouldn’t do it any other waySylvanie was a charismatic tour guide, and Barrick was detail oriented. Both were incredibly warm and made the entire day memorable for usWritten 28 December 2024
- larson_120 contributionsNot worth the moneyThe food was not good and the service was okay at best. The tour said it was 2-3 hours but ended up being 1 hour. We did have a window seat but were up charged for everything, including having to pay for water. (No tap water was available). For $300 I expected a better meal. We were asked what tip we were going to leave by the waiter that ignored us all night. The views were nice but very disappointed.Written 28 December 2024
- Georges E0 contributionsNot even an experienceWe missed the whole trip and lost all the money because the bus left at 8.24 am. We missed it by 4min although 8.30 is listed as time to leave. They could not wait for us so We paid for taxi to follow them to versailles and they could not wait for us at entrance to join them.Written 26 December 2024
- monys8860 contributionsRomantic! The views were amazing. We had a special front seat with rose petals! The servers were great as so was the food. I had scallops and fish.Written 17 December 2024
- Trail680671855830 contributionsUnremarkableWay too expensive for what you get. Terrible food for Paris and they get you with all the add ons. Much better off taking a river cruise for €30.Written 13 December 2024
- 273margg0 contributionsGreat night outThe experience was excellent the Eiffel tower and Moulin rouge were amazing however the dinner itself was only average.Written 9 December 2024
- Journey394090 contributionsA+ ExcursionA wonderful trip! Our guide Steve was very knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant we stopped at was so cute and delicious! The bus was very comfortable. We had a great experience and learned a lot, too.Written 7 December 2024
- Stacy J0 contributionsWas a great trip for couples. The food and service were very good. We sat in the very bow of the boat and had a 180-degree unobstructed view. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour trip.Written 7 December 2024
- cmpass0 contributionsGreat dayWe had a great day. Steve was a great guide. We got to see a great sampling of Normandy and learn about the brutal history of the longest day(s). Looking forward to returning.Written 3 December 2024
- Jm L0 contributionsWay too short and too fast!Way too short 1h15 mn chrono really a pity. Dinner was ok service good and music nice but all way too hurried! It should last a minimum of 2 h to justify the high price.Written 30 November 2024
- taurmini f0 contributionsAmazing place - spendy tripThis is a beautiful place - def worth a visit. The tour guide seemed fine - we didn’t really interact with her. The bus was fine, though we are tall - so the folks putting their seats back smacked our knees pretty badly. It is a LONG day in a bus for a few hours there but that’s no surprise. I didn’t realize the audio tour used our own devices and we had no headphones or charger so we couldn’t use that at all. It was basically $330 for a 10hr bus ride. If I had longer to plan, I’d just book my own travel and satay over night. Well organized though - nothing to really complain about, just not great value.Written 30 November 2024

Steve was a very engaging guide. Very knowledgeable about the 2nd world war. We had a great time even on the bus. We took a small group tour. Max 15 people. The lunch that was provided was also excellant. This tour hit all the high spots for us. I would recommend and ask for Seteve

Tour was great especially when having only 5 people in in the tour. Our tour guide “Demetius was great and very knowledgeable. He kept us informed on everything we saw with facts and also side stories so there were never any dull moments. He also had all the answers to any of our questions. There was also time alone to just take in what we were seeing and time to reflect. The ride was a little long but the van was comfortable and we did stop along the way.The beaches and cemetery were absolutely heart wrenching and beautiful at the same time .Great lunch in a beautiful farmhouse/hotel restaurant.

Normandy has so much history and there are always stories to tell about WWII.
If you wish to know more and have more time to visit these sites, come back to us and we will present you our 2 days tour around the region !

Will there be time to walk along the shore at Omaha Beach, or will we only view the beach from the American Cemetery?
