Overview
If you’re interested in World War II history, don’t let limited time in Paris stop you from visiting the Normandy D-Day battlefields and beaches. On this guided tour from Paris, visit Memorial de Caen, Pointe du Hoc, the American Military Cemetery, Juno Beach, and Omaha Beach. Lunch and all entrance fees are included to save you the hassle of planning out all the details. You can also upgrade for hotel pickup and drop-off to make your experience even more convenient.
What to Expect

Your tour begins at Pyramides metro station or from your central Paris hotel, if you’ve chosen to upgrade. From your starting point, travel through the French countryside before arriving at Memorial de Caen, an interactive memorial of the D-Day landings.

Then, visit Pointe du Hoc, a strategic area characterized by tumbling cliffs, and pay your respects to more than 10,000 fallen American soldiers at the American Military Cemetery.

Proceed to Omaha Beach to walk along the shore and immerse yourself in Omaha Beach Memorial Museum (Musee Memorial d’Omaha Beach).

Your final stop is Juno Beach Center, the only memorial dedicated to Canadian soldiers, before returning to Paris.

Nice overview of D-Day history with visit to beaches

This was a nice overview of what happened on D-Day. The scale of the battle sites must be seen to really understand what a huge undertaking this operation was. We visited the D-Day museum in Caen, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha beach, the American Cemetary, and...More

A must see for all Americans. Truly the greatest generation.

Visited the Omaha beach site first, then went to cemetery which is the final resting place of over 9000 brave men and women who have there lives to free Europe. The solemnity is overwhelming, give meaning to the notion that Freedom truly is not free...More

6 hours on an uncomfortable bus / poor itinerary

We spent 6 hours plus in this bus from Paris. The legroom was horrible, I'm 5'9 and my legs were pressed against the seat in front of me. For the extent of the trip this is unacceptable. (picture attached) The itinerary was poor - only...More

We traveled to Normandy by car. We rented one for the day and brought our own lunch. Don't know what tours do. Enjoy, whichever way you go.
