Highly recommend!! Our guide was informative and engaging. We visited multiple wineries and sampled a few different wines at each. A delicious lunch was provided in our tour, as well as a tour of the town of Saint Emilion. One of the best experiences we had while in France.

Our experience was top notch. We booked a private tour of Saint Emilion and three surrounding Chateaus. Our tour guide Clément was exceptionally knowledgeable in wine, being a WSET level 3 certificate holder, and very professional. Our conversations in the car were as enjoyable as the chateaus. We hope to visit Bordeaux again to see Medoc, Graves and the other wine regions, hopefully earlier in the year and would definitely book with Bordeaux Wine Trails again.

We did a private full-day Saint Emilion tour and after getting picked up in a comfortable van at our B&B we got to visit 3 wineries in addition to wandering around the town of Saint Emilion and having lunch in the town. Our guide Clement was knowledgable, professional and the whole day was timed perfectly, we never felt rushed. We know A LOT about wine and wanted to really dig deep about Saint Emilion/Bordeaux wines so we could better pick out ones we'd like in the US and get as much of an overview as possible in a day and we felt we were able to get just that. The team was able to accommodate us last minute (under a week) and personalize the experience for us. Our favorite was being able to visit a small husband and wife winery and sample the wines with the owner. These are amazing experiences and touches that are a perk of booking a private tour.

The tour was on time and very informative. We were not lucky with the weather, due to the rain we couldn’t bike but as a compensation we visited another château. The whole tour was very professional and fun. Highly recommended for people visiting Bordeaux and would like to experience vineyards visiting and wine tasting!

We did a private full-day wine tour in St. Emilion, with lunch and tastings, as well as a city tour. It was incredible. The tour guide, Maria was so knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and fun! Would highly recommend.

Awesome wine bar tour in the center of town. We were a mixed group of English and French speakers and John was great at switching between the two languages to include everyone. Good fun, good food and good wines, highly recommend !

We enjoyed every second of our tours with Bordeaux Wine Trails! From the start during booking to the end of our last tour, everyone was extremely helpful and responsive. We did 4 days or private tours. They offered suggestions of what to do and see during the booking process. They accommodated our gluten free needs as well. We enjoyed listening and talking to our hosts, Marie and Clement. Both were excellent hosts. An unforgettable experience! Do not hesitate to book with Bordeaux Wine Trails.

We visited a 5th growth Grand Cru Classe (the lowest of the 1855 designations) which was a good tasting but I wish that was made known up front. We were supposed to visit Chateau Margaux for a picture but it was skipped; this was something I was looking forward to. The second winery was completely forgettable and I wish they just took us to another 1855 winery but of higher growth to compare. Not for wine aficionados, it’s more of a tour that gives you a surface level understanding of the Medoc region. Unfortunately, not many other tours are available. I understood from later groups that if you did a private tour with Bordeaux Wine Trails, they take you to a second growth winery. This is too bad because if the wine visits are cheap anyway, the cost should be marginal for them to take us to better wineries. Basically, consider the price you pay for this the cost of an Uber ride to a so-so winery, and a bonus tasting of a random small production spot.

We had a great day with our guide Mel. She was friendly, attentive and filled us in with all the local & wine knowledge. The picnic lunch in the garden was delicious.

The instructor was great and we learned a lot about the Bordeaux wines and the different regions and were able to taste and comment on four different wines from Bordeaux.

We had a fantastic all day private tour, led by our guide Nate. We are a group of 5 and were picked up directly from our apartment in downtown Bordeaux. We were driven in an air conditioned van to our first winery and had a full tour of the vineyard and wine making process before beginning our tasting. After the tasting, we chose the picnic option and enjoyed a picnic with great views of the vineyard. We then headed into the town of St. Emilion for a quick tour by Nate before heading to our next stop. At our second stop, we chose the blending option and after a tour of the facilities, got to blend our own Bordeaux varieties with the different grapes that go into the standard Bordeaux mix (Merlot, Cab Sav, and Cab Franc). We all made different blends and got to taste all each of them before heading into the formal tasting. We then went to the final tasting at a very family style winery before heading back to our apartment. Nate also provided us with some recommendations for restaurants and bars in Bordeaux. Overall, the day was great. The booking process was simple and collaborative, and it was very easy to add on the blending and picnic options after our initial booking by reaching out to the Bordeaux Wine Tours team. The guides at the wineries themselves were also fantastic -- very knowledgeable and fun to talk with during our tours. Thank you Bordeaux Wine Tours -- this was our favorite day of our trip!

We did the wine lovers afternoon to St Emillion wine district and village . Marie was the consummate guide with a great personality and knowledge of the wine industry . Wine tasting and wineries were magnificent . A great afternoon for 7 of us in a comfortable vehicle with a beautiful guide well done !

Excellent, fun, and knowledgeable tour guide. Great wines and behind the scenes tour at first chateau in Graves. Informative wine tasting and delicious lunch at second chateau. Nice walking tour of St Emilion and relaxing stop to enjoy sparkling wine. Sadly, third wine tasting was extremely disappointing and a bad way to end the day. Wine tasting guide was unprepared, barely introduced the wine to be tasted, and was not interested in providing a good experience. Even tasting table was dirty.
