We had a superb day touring the Ring of Kerry with Mary. She knows the area, its history and its special niches, and she adapted the stops to our interests. We explored historical ruins, an artist colony, and short trails to stunning vistas. We didn’t spend time shopping or eating, per our request. Whew. Logistically: Mary picked us up and returned us to our hotel in Tralee in a comfortable Mercedes, and gave us a full nine hours of her time. Easy. She also provided tons of information to help us navigate the national park and the Dingle peninsula on our two remaining in the area.

When we needed a transfer from Kinsale, Ireland to the Dingle peninsula we were lucky enough to find Ray and the Walkwithme tour company. Ray was a marvelous communicator, the car was roomy and comfortable and we were so happy to have a local person help us see the sights and hear the stories of the regions we were passing through. Two of us toured the Ring of Kerry with Mary of WalkWithMe Tours. The Ring of Kerry deserves its reputation as a major scenic attraction, and Mary was a superb guide, spraying gems of information about flora, bogs, community, life in Ireland and travel strategies for our return to Dublin airport. We were in a comfortable Mercedes sedan and were grateful to have someone at the wheel so we could concentrate on the glorious scenery. We visited some "famine houses", neolithic beehive stone huts, a chocolate shop, an excellent art gallery, magnificent scenery. including immense cliffs, rainbows and portions of the Killarney National Park. If you're interested in a private tour of Ireland don't hesitate to book with Mary.  In June my friend and I were blessed to spend 6 days with Mary exploring Ireland.  She knew the best scenery routes; cool places to visit; was attentive in picking up on our interest; and genuinely wanted us to have a good time.  We experienced and learned so much more than we would have on a big bus tour or traveling on our own.  Mary helped make some very special memories!

My cousin & I had the most amazing day with Mary on her West Cork Trip- incredible rural scenery, many lovely stops along the way, time to walk a bit, shop, best lunch at Jack's Restaurant- food and the wonderful feeling inside. It rained a bit which didn't matter at all. We highly recommend and would definitely contact her again. Rather than a star review, just to say, her historical knowledge, choice of stops and wonderful personality made us feel we had made a friend.

Had a full day tour of the Ring of Kerry tailored to our family's interests. Mary understood the age of our child and took into account: a good time for breaks, snacks, lunch, and getting some energy out at the beach. Our child really warmed up to her kind personality. This was the best value and way to see the Ring of Kerry. The pace was not rushed. We got to see roads/sites that were not seen by the buses. And, it was nice to relax and not worry about driving the roads (narrow spots, curves, horses, bicyclists, etc). We would enthusiastically recommend Mary!

What a delightful experience! Ray was an excellent historian and tour guide. We traveled from Killarney to the Cliffs of Moher and through The Burren on our way to Galway. Ray desribed sites and history all along the way and answered our many questions as first timers in the Republic. Highly recommend his tours to all!

If I could leave ten stars, I would. Hiring Mary and Ray for four days of touring was the single best decision we made in planning our bucket list trip to Ireland! We spent three days with Mary and one with Ray, and each day was spectacular. Not only did we see things we never would have found on our own, but their knowledge of history, customs and culture added so much to the things we saw. They were professional, but so warm and friendly, helpful, reliable and fun, and we also appreciated their advice on pubs, restaurants, shopping, etc. I cannot recommend Walk With Me Tours enough - they took our trip to the next level! Mary Walsh did an excellent job from start to finish in a full day! She picked up our group of three at our hotel and took us to the Burren National Park from Killarney by way of Adare, Limerick, and Ennis. One of three stops in the Burren featured Poulnabrone, a Neolithic tomb portal built around 6000 years ago. Outstanding pear tart and coffee at the Burren Perfumery, then on to the Cliffs of Moher. Nice lunch at Vaughan’s Pub near the cliffs, then back to Killarney. Mary expertly pointed out all the highlights on the way while masterfully handling her comfortable Mercedes sedan. I recommend this experience to anyone!

I would give 10 out of 5 stars if possible! We did the Valentia, Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring tour. We had only one day in Killarney and this was absolutely the best way to spend it. Ray provided us with a recommended itinerary, taking us to the most spectacular sights and also to places off the beaten path. He was also very responsive to requests for certain stops and even added extra time into the end of our tour to visit Killarney National Park. He was so knowledgeable, generous and warm, sharing both historical facts and personal knowledge about the area. We only wish we had time for more days of touring with Ray! This was by far the best day of our week in Ireland. Seeing the sights is one thing, but having Ray to give them context added immense value to our trip. Choosing a private tour with Ray was the best money we could have spent our whole trip.

We had the good fortune of booking Mary for a tour that took us from Killarney to Dingle Ferry. She promptly picked us up at our scheduled time and drove us to our stops of Crag Cave and Cliffs of Moher. We made such good time, we were allowed a bit extra time at the Cliffs before being dropped off at the Dingle Ferry to the Aran Islands. Mary provided wonderful commentary about the area and a nice place where we could grab a bite to eat for lunch. Mary was absolutely great with my 6 year old Sarah, pointing out lots of things for her to see! This was a great way to get from Killarney to Dingle without missing a day of sight seeing to travel, as there were no direct trains or buses that I could find. Mary's car was spotless and she was a very careful and cautious driver.

Our return trip to Killarney NP allowed us to book a walk with Ray Walsh which was just as fun, informative and beautiful as during our previous visit. If TripAdvisor offered 10 stars the WalkWithMe experience would be worth that and more. Ray shares an Amazing depth of knowledge ranging from local history, Ireland’s political history, to geography, geology and ecosystems encountered along our walk. Just strenuous enough for a couple of 70 year olds truly enjoying Ireland in wonderfully gracious good company.

Part of our family's recent trip to Ireland was to see that lands my ancestors left when they emigrated to the United States. Ray put together a wonderful day-long tour for us of the few sights we knew we wanted to visit. He even did his own research of the area to try and help us out a bit more. Because of his long history around the county, he was also able to reach out to friends in order to put us in contact with others who might be able to help us out with our own research. We had a nice lunch at a nice diner and were able to grab a drink at the Alley Bar thanks to recommendations from his friends. Ray was just all around wonderful! He was so personable, fun, and knowledgeable. I am so glad to have found Ray.
