Galway Getaway - Great with Gary
A perfect day trip from Galway. A comfortable and not crowded 56 passenger bus. A well paced but relaxed schedule. A nice variety of sights and a solid pub lunch stop. Holding it all together - Gary - our most excellent driver and guide. Galway Tour Company should be paying him double for doing double duty, which he does with aplomb. He is knowledgeable, clever, and passionate in his spiel all while squeezing his camel of a bus through the eye of a needle that is the Irish back country roads. Castle √ - Cottage √ - Cliffs √

Enjoyable way to cover a lot of ground
Mike was a GREAT tour guide and driver. He entertained and informed us with lots of stories and history. The drive through Connemara was beautiful and the photo stops were appreciated. Kylemore Abbey was spectacular, and lunch at the gardens was lovely. The stop in Cong was nice. We enjoyed the shopping, a pint at the pub and a peek at the cemetery. A very enjoyable day!

Excellent value for the money. We actually went on two tours, one to Connemara and Kylemore Abbey, and one to the Cliffs of Moher. The drivers (Mike and Garry) were excellent sources of information and very entertaining.

Awesome tour, however, depart too late at 10 AM. It should depart earlier.
Fantastic tour and scenery, however, tour departs too late at 10 AM. It should depart at 8:30 AM or 9 AM which would get you back earlier into Galway. Or give you more time at the Cliffs. Lunch was beautiful at an Irish pub, fantastic food and very quick to be served.

Our visit to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.
We usually avoid guided tours, but could not drive in Ireland (too old), but we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our diver was Gary and he was wonderful. Great stories and descriptions about what we were seeing along the way and at our destinations. We want to come again someday soon.

The Burren and Cliff of Moher Tour
Another fantastic tour with Galway Tour Company. The bus driver, Gary, was funny and had tons of knowledge about the area. The memories of the views in the Burren and Cliffs of Moher will last a lifetime. Lunch at McGann’s pub was a highlight. Great food, fast service and great atmosphere. I strongly recommend this tour.

Covers a lot of things, prepare to be tired!
The driver was randomly funny on occasion but I wish the co passengers were a little more considerate and didn't cross talk on top of what the driver was saying. The scenery was beautiful and we were really lucky to get a sunny cloudy day. The village stop was a little confusing; I didn't understand exactly why we visited that and I what to do there therefore the lower rating. I wish we spent more time at Kylemore Abbey instead.

      Great experience!
If I could give another star I would! Can’t be more happier that we chose this tour. We got a great experience for a fraction of the cost than the Cruise line. I would highly recommend booking with Galway tour company. Gary was our tour guide and he was the best. Funny and knowledgeable.

      Breathtaking Scenery
Patrick was an excellent driver and guide. He was also incredibly helpful and kind. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day, perfect for the drive through Connemara's stunning scenery. Kylemore Abbey and gardens are well worth a visit. There is lots to see and our 2 1/2 hour stop was timed perfectly. We passed by so many breathtaking places, along quiet country roads off the beaten track. I am so glad I booked this trip. It was excellent and terrific value. Highly recommended.

A richer experience for seeing the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren
Gerry was an incredible tour guide pointing out so many interesting and important sights along the way to our many stops. He had so many stories and anecdotes, all told with great humor, that it really enlivened our trip to the western coast of Ireland. We are glad we didn't choose to make the drive ourselves - it would have been a poor substitute.

From start to finish this was an A+ tour! We were on an extremely comfortable coach with our amazing guide Dave! We started from Galway and rode up through the Burren, onto the ferry in Doolin and head to the Aran Islands. Had a fabulous tour of Aranshire, including a pony and trap ride. We took the ferry around the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. Next we stopped for a delicious lunch at a wonderful pub. Then we headed to the top of the Cliffs of Moher. All along the way Dave was informative and funny. Did I mention he was funny??
I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Dave!

Tommy the driver and guide was outstanding. Good information delivered with craic! Very organized getting the island tours setup which maximized our time to enjoy the historic and amazing Inisheer.

Seeing the Cliffs of Moher from the sea was great.

    Wonderful tour!

This day trip was a highlight of my vacation to Ireland! Our tour guide Tommy was funny and informative. The trip started with a drive through the Burren, I wish we had been able to stop to walk around here, but the views were beautiful even from the bus. Visiting Inisheer was delightful. We chose to explore the island on foot, but there were options to take a bus or carriage tour or rent bikes. It was amazing to view the Cliffs of Moher from the ocean and then to walk on top of the cliffs - both were beautifully scenic. The only downside for me was eating in the local pub for lunch - there wasn’t an option to eat elsewhere or do something else during this time and it wasn’t a great restaurant for someone with dietary restrictions (glad I brought lots of snacks with me). Also, please add an option for tipping via credit card or Venmo. My bad for not looking up tipping policy before the trip, and only had American dollars with me.

What a wonderful day! Tommy was an excellent tour guide and provided us with a rich telling of Irish history and folklore. The ride on the bus is a bit bumpy, but did not delay us. The island along with the exploring of the cliffs is magnificent and I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a real day of adventure.

Tommy was a great driver/guide. He explained how Ireland became a country, and the most important wars/conflicts that occurred in the island.
He made the long trip was not boring at all.
We could enjoy the beautiful landscapes during the trip, and understand why Ireland is called the "Emerald island".
We were really lucky as the weather was also amazing. The stay in Inisheer was worth it. It's a small island, but the scenery is unique. During our way back to the "big island", we passed close to the Moher Cliffs, and the view is incredible. It was a good choice.
Tommy took us to visit the Moher Cliffs too. The sight from there astonishing.
I recommend this day trip to visit the Moher Cliffs.

Tommy was a fantastic guide. The Aran Island guide (Breagh?) that we took as an extra was fantastic too. It called for 95% rain. We did get wet, but the meal at the pub warmed us up. I would recommend this tour! 10 out of 10
