      Rough Bus Ride
Cliffs of Moher is beautiful and worth the trip, however, the bus ride can be nauseating for many. Bring dramamine and try to sit near the front!

      Well-run tour!
This tour was very timely and well-run. It was the perfect amount of time to spend at the cliffs when coming from Galway. The bus was on time both going and coming back from the cliffs, and it was great to go in the morning before it got crowded. Would recommend this tour to visitors!

      Use all your senses
We did a small group tour with Michael. It was so lovely! Michael was a treat and wealth of information. We drove through the Connemara, visited the Aughnanure castle with another wonderful guide, met Joe Joyce, met his beautiful dogs (and puppies!), got to see a lamb shearing and much more. You used all your senses on this tour and really was immersed in the culture.

      Worth it!!
Really lovely day trip! Such a nice variety of landscapes and scenery and Kylemore Abbey is absolutely worth seeing! My Mum and I mostly explored Ireland on our own but we were so glad we did this tour. It was definitely a special place to see and our guide was fantastic.

Excellent small group tour with Barry
We had an amazing time on the small group tour with Barry as our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history and ecology of western Ireland. It was a joy to hear the info from him. He engaged with the group very well, and provided several specific recommendations throughout the day. I'd highly recommend Lally tours and specifically Barry as the tour guide.

      Best bus tour
The trip was great! I travel a lot and honestly must say, that the experience with our driver Cathal was probably the best I’ve ever had. He was full of informations about history, habits and living of locals. Very funny too. I really recommend.

The wife and I took the small group tour out to Connemara, our driver/guide was Michael. We thoroughly enjoy our trip and the narration was superb! Wow ! what a wonderful experience. This was our first visit to the West Coast of Ireland. We opted to go on a tour which we would usually do. We weren’t really sure which of the many tours on offer to take. However on reaching the coach station. The three Lally gentlemen advised due to the expected bad weather it was probably best to get on the 10:00am tour rather than wait for 12 o’clock tour.
The days weather was horrendous but this did not put a dampener our spirit. We travelled in an air conditioning 25 seater coach. Our driver Micheal was jovial courteous knowledgeable and very entertaining ( he had the patience of a saint). He checked with passengers throughout the tour on whether we wanted to stop for photo calls due to the extremely wet and windy conditions; thanks to storm Dennis. But this didn’t spoil the day. We stopped at several locations but the standout for us was the underground tour of Alliwee Cave. The Cliffs of Moher was breathtaking. We were in awe at the wonders of nature. We will most definitely be visiting again and would most definitely recommend Lally’s Tours.
    Thanks again Michael

I went to the Cliffs of Moher in January on New Year’s Day it’s Lally Tours. It was a fabulous experience, Gerry was a wonderful tour guide with many stories and songs. Gerry provided lots of commentary that was greatly appreciated and we had ample time in each location. Thanks to Gerry we were able to get to lunch before the other tours that were operating that day, so didn’t have to queue for long. Due to it being New Year’s Day some of the places were closed but the singing made up for that!

Booking: We booked online 2 weeks in advance. Was easy to prepare for trip, find the bus, and check-in. This was our first tour bus experience in Ireland.
Itinerary: We enjoyed all of the stops: the castle, the caves (we sat out the cave tour, and just enjoyed the grounds and gift shop), the cliffs, and the Burren.
Lunch: Nice stop in Doolin. Unfortunately, one hour for lunch for everybody on the bus was tight (and was cut a bit short due to a passenger returning late to the bus at the Cliffs.) We got menus on the bus so we could plan what we wanted to order, but we only had about ten minutes to eat by the time our food came.
Bus: The bus is comfortable, the windows are tall so you can see well on both sides no matter which seat you are in. I am prone to motion sickness and had no trouble at all (without drugs). There was a bathroom on the bus I did not use, but also at most of our stops too. Felt safe leaving backpack on bus during hop-off stops.
Driver: John B was a good driver and articulate tour guide - we learned a lot and laughed too! Pacing was good with lots of info for the first half, and the return drive being quieter while listening to some Irish music.
Price: The price does feel a little steep considering lunch and cave tour (although discounted) are not included. Bring cash to tip your driver at the end.

I would definitely recommend this tour as a chance to see several sites of Natural beauty. You also get the chance to see history on the landscape that would probably not be available to see any other way except by car from destination to destination.

While Ailwee caves are not included in the tour, the cost to go in is really reasonable and can be decided when you arrive. The restaurant at Doolin serves some really nice food and brews their own beer.

This tour was a really good experience. John our guide and driver was a great host. He was really passionate about Irelands history and gave us information on the sights we passed.

I had never been to Aillwee Cave. We had discounted tickets as part of the tour and had time to explore the cave with an informative guide. It was much bigger than I expected and easy enough to navigate safely. The story of how it was accidentally discovered by a farmer looking for his lost sheepdog is amazing- especially that he told no one about it for over 30 years. Also amazing was the Cliffs of Moher. I had been there in 1975 when there was nothing but the cliffs - and feared that development and tickets and shops etc might be tacky - I was pleasantly surprised at how tastefully it has been turned into a geopark. The shop, cafe, and especially an experiential tour in the building are well worth takig some time to explore, with lots of information and videos. you can even take a picture of yourself on the cliffs in front of a greenscreen and email it to a friend. Happily, they now have carts to bring people who need them up and down the hill to the top. The friendly woman who drove my cart is off to Everest Base Camp next spring. I found the staff of Lally's very helpful. My first choice tour had been cancelled, and they readily changed me to this one. I will come back for the other one next time!

We work hard on creating the perfect tour and stops for our guests so we are always delighted to hear you had such a great time. The Aillwee Caves are truly a fantastic stop and we are delighted to be able to offer discounted tour tickets for our guests. Wow how amazing to have come back to the same Cliffs and have such insight into its growth over the years. They are truly a marvellous sight and now have an amazing visitor centre to match. We look forward to welcoming you back on tour! Go raibh míle maith agat Zoe

Such a great tour! Our tour guide John was brilliant, I learned a lot during the course of the tour. John was able to answer all of our questions and shared many interesting facts about the landscape, landmarks, history, and so much more. The weather was off and on, a mix of rain and shine. John told us not to fret, the weather can change at the drop or a hat and sure enough, it was lovely clear weather with the sun shining when we reached the cliffs. We had a pretty small group and because we were on time and on schedule for every stop, we even got to make a few bonus stops that weren’t on the itinerary. On top of that we saw wild goats in the hills, rabbits, many farm animals, beautiful waves crashing along the coast, rainbows, and a dozen castles.

Absolutely amazing! John was the best! Thanks again for the great experience.

I have a bunch more photos but don’t want to give it all away!! Must see for yourself!

    Hi.

We took the Cliffs of Moher/the Burren day tour from Galway. Joe Hanney was our guide. Lovely man, very friendly, loads of knowledge and very talkative. He spoke continuously throughout the tour with the gaps in between punctuated only with Irish Rebel songs. He was able to provide nice little nuggets of information about the little towns we passed through on our way to the various stops on our tour. We stopped at the Aillwee Caves. Worth going inside unless you want to sit on the bus. Not included in tour ticket, costs €6. Thankfully we got a lovely sunny day at the Cliffs and we got plenty of time to walk around. The Cliffs were the best part of tour and worth seeing such a natural wonder. Visited the Burren. Not much to see here to be honest. We arrived back in Galway on time. Overall a very nice trip to take.
