Fantastic Cliffs of Mohr day tour
We had a great time on our Cliffs of Mohr day tour. Our driver, Richard, was very knowledgeable on a broad range of topics that he presented to the passengers over the course of the day and was quick with his humor. We had a blast and look forward to another visit and an opportunity to take in another Paddywagon tour.

      A Great Day Out
Richard was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about all of the places we visited and about Ireland in general. He was also very funny and a brilliant driver, with plenty of recommendations for places to eat and drink around Dublin and Cork

      Richard O’Brien Tours
The entire experience was phenomenal, Richard O’Brien was a wonderful tour guide. Would highly recommend to all. Made many stops, and even got us a few pints along the way. The lunch spot was wonderful with all fresh seafood options to choose from.

I guess anyone can get up on the wrong side of bed but when you are in hospitality - your job is to be nice
I’ve never publicly written a negative review. Its super rare that we get a poor experience so we’ve been lucky, and if ever something has been amiss we prefer to raise it directly with the company. The day was unpleasant because of the driver. The day felt totally tainted for me after his initial rudeness and I felt compelled to write a review for anyone still contemplating who they want to spend their hard earned money and time with. Seems like our driver got up on the wrong side of bed right from the get go and took it out on a couple of us that asked a clarifying question. He was short and unpleasant - specifically with us and for no good reason. Wouldn’t recommend based on this driver at least unfortunately.

      Lovely day! Great views!
Fabulous Trip! Dave was so funny and entertaining! I would recommend this trip as a solo travel or with a group! I was fine by myself but think I would’ve enjoyed it more with a group! We got several extra stops in addition to the cliffs and still got back at a nice time!

Rock of Cashel, kissing the Blarney Stone, drinking Murphy's stout in Cork.
Excellent itinerary. We enjoyed every bit. The weather played ball and we managed to walk through amazing gardens at Blarney Castle and visit the rock of Cashel before a great trip to Cork. A city we will visit again soon. Alex our driver was excellent, very informative with excellent historical knowledge. We even learnt som Gaelic.

Absolutely amazing experience, so glad I did it!
The experience was unreal, Dan the bus driver made it even better!! The vibes of the trip was so much fun, would recommend! Only not a 5 star because unfortunately we did not make it to Derry when it was meant to be in the tour, other than that so much fun

      Another great day with paddywagon
This was the third trip with paddywagon and we booked this trip because we had a great time the day before with our guide/driver Richard O'Brien and he informed us on our cliffs tour that he would be leading this one as well. We had a great time the day before so it was an easy decision to go with him on this one as well. The weather was not the greatest but he went out of his way to take us to other areas rather than spend all the time we had at the Causeway. It was great to be able to see other things that were not on the itinerary and we appreciated everything he did. I would definitely recommend paddywagon to anyone looking to add some great sights to their trip.

      Amazing day
This was the first of 3 trips we took with paddywagon on our trip and it was great. Our guide Ciaran Healy was so much fun that we spent a good part of the trip laughing. He was very informative and had lots of knowledge to share. This made us want to book more trips with paddywagon and we did not regret any of them. Thanks for a good time.

Great day trip to the cliffs
We did this tour with paddywagon while on our visit to Ireland and it was great. Our guide/bus driver Richard O'Brien was great. Lots of stories and gave us plenty of time to see what we wanted. We enjoyed it so much we booked another the next day to Giants Causeway that he was also touring

Had a fantastic time, our driver had just the right amount of history and stories to share. Provided a couple of weather options and had good local knowledge.

Please don't let this company ruin a day of your vacation! As you'll see from the other reviews, when things go right, they're fine. But when it goes wrong it goes VERY wrong. This was our experience:

After hurrying my family out of our hotel to arrive promptly at 8:10 AM for our tour of Glendalough, we arrived and were told that it was overbooked and that we couldn't go on our tour. The driver even said to us that "they do this all the time" hoping someone doesn't show, so this is their standard dishonest business practice. The tour manager offered us a full refund and an afternoon tour free of charge, which we mistakenly accepted.

After rearranging our entire day because Paddywagon intentionally overbooked the tour, the afternoon tour traveled to Glendalough in a 100 degree Fahrenheit bus without functioning air conditioning or a tour guide. When we arrived at Glendalough, very late, the replacement tour guide gave us no direction and told us to walk to the upper lake. This was not a tour, but an overpriced bus ride without A/C.

When we got back into Dublin, my wife and I attempted to visit the Paddywagon office near O'Connell Bridge and the two young men at the desk told us there was no one to call and pretended as if they couldn't send an email from their computer. We emailed customer service the same day request a refund of the tour (as well as cancelling a future tour we had scheduled) and never heard back. We are now filing a complaint with the tourism board and disputing the charges with our credit card company.

Don't make the same mistake we did! There are so many tour companies in Ireland, you don't need to roll the dice with a dishonest company like Paddywagon.

Terrible, terrible, terrible! We booked this tour months ago, and had a confirmation. On the morning of the trip Monday Aug 30, we showed up before the designated pickup time of 8:15am. Other tour pickups occurred and Paddywagon even had another pickup for a longer multi-day tour, whose operator told us to stand by. After an hour and 3 phone calls to their office (none of which were answered) we left. Contacting them by email, they replied that they had lost our reservation in their system (?) and therefore had not contacted us, but the tour only left on Tuesdays now. 1) they continued, even in their email reply to us, to publish the phone number which they don’t answer. 2) what kind of outfit “loses a reservation in their system”? I do NOT RECOMMEND this company, we were terribly disappointed.

It's completely waste of time..you spend the most of time with traffic in the city and once you are out of the city you need both ways another 2-3 hours..
We stayed in the 1:50 minutes which you have to walk around 25 minutes one way to reach the lake and then back again..so actually you have 1 hour?
    1hour =35 € it's not worth it a all... 50 passenger x35 =1750€ for 5 hours of "work" They are making..someone is Stealing ..?
Apart this we change 3 bus because we had problems..so we waste even more time..I had one extra bag 10 kg which I had to carry with me all the time because I couldn't leave it in the bus because of this problem..just rent a car or go with local bus it's more worth it..
The only positive thing is that the place it's beautiful

Positives-country/landscape is beautiful. Enjoyed lakes and hike at Glendalough. Driver (Jackie) was out-going and friendly.

    Disappointed with two aspects
    1) tour did not stop at PS I Love You Bridge and we only had 90 minutes at Kilkenny.

Not sure why time was reduced from 2 hrs to 90 minutes as we got back to Dublin 30 minutes early 530pm.

The bus was 45 min late,
A part of the group was left to wate with a guide who didn't know what was going on. There was supposed to be a stop on the way, but there wasn't. We were promised at least two hours at the lake, but were given only 90 min, so we basically ran to the lake and back ( a beautiful place if you have time to enjoy it)

Extremely punctual and easy bus ride, amazing scenery and a great 80-90min window for a short hike. Left us wanting much more! There was a small food cart for snacks at our stop too. Bus driver was very lively with the right amount of commentary and we were back in time for lunch.

A relaxing and comfortable morning full of breathtaking views through a part of Ireland that felt remote. Tour guide was interesting and relevant. Time at the abbey was short but we knew that when we booked. Coach left on time and we were delivered back to an alternate location for our safety due to spontaneous protest March downtown. Driver and guide were courteous and friendly.

The tour guide was great and told some good stories about Dublin, but…

The photos on the website were not representative of the tour.

The tour ended up being a walk in the woods and then seeing a lake and not walking along the mountains.

The purple Heather was barely visible at this time in September and we realized August is better to see that along the drive.

The driver which was also our tour guide is a friendly man and good storyteller. He delivered great explanations of places we visited and also shared his knowledge on what happed in Ireland in the past. Our journey was safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable. Love to book another trip with this tour company next time.

Expected more info from the guide. He gave us less than the bare minimum on the way out and zero on the way back. He spent most of the trip back chatting to a few American tourists (no offense intended). We stopped just at Glendalough (90 mins) and the ‘Guinness’ lake for 2 mins. This is not a ‘guided’tour and in Glendalough you are left to your own devices. The driver stays on the bus. No other stops of photo stops. Not quite what it says on the packet. Glendalough is a very beautiful place but sorry I went with Paddywagon.
