Wonderful day tour
Mar. 2020
We joined Aiden on his tour to Glendalough and Kilkenny. Despite the weather we saw some beautiful countryside. Making me want to return for more. Aiden was a great guide and driver and happy to share his knowledge with us.

Richard O’Brien is amazing!
Jan. 2020 • Couples
We took a tour of Glendalough and Kilkenny with Richard O’Brien and couldn’t have loved it more! Richard was so knowledgeable, funny and kind and really provided us with so much valuable information about Ireland’s history, as well as useful tidbits of information for us about Dublin. Thank you Richard, we loved the tour! Highly recommend this trip for anyone who is looking for a fun adventure out of the city for a day!

Very dissappointing
Jan. 2020
So, when i read about the tour on Paddywagon website, it was saying about Wicklow mountains, the set of movies like PS I Love You and BraveHeart and once that this information ON THE TOUR PAGE, is belivable that we supposed to go to these palces. But no, we don't go to Wicklow Mountains and either to the movies sets. I didnt understand why they mentioned about this places if we wont go there during the tour... I paid thinking that i would go to the mountains and to the PS I Love You bridge, but the tour turn out very dissapointing.

If was possible, I would ask my money back, because they say one thing on the website, but the tour is completlty different.

Best Tour Company in Ireland
Oct. 2019
We took not 1 but 3 tours with Paddywagon and it was the greatest experience. Our tour guides were entertaining and knowledgeable. extremely nice. You have plenty of time to see the sites. This particular tour is a little more slow paced. Kilkenny is a wonderful city to visit and even though it rained while we were there, it was still great to walk around in. Recommend this tour, especially if you are looking for something more low key.

Wonderful trip!!JP,our guide was very informative and Paolo our driver was great driving the bus, JP did a good job in breaking the ice, from the start, for single travelers to sit together. Made them feel at ease right away. A lady got motion sickness on the bus and they checked on her constantly. Wild Rover tours are the best!!

Great day tour - Bailey was great!
Jun. 2019 • Friends
Really enjoyed the day tour - the Wicklow mountains were really beautiful. Our tour guide Bailey was really great - very friendly, funny and informative too. We loved him! Oisin was an excellent driver. Bus was clean and comfortable. Relaxing tour with a good pace and sufficient stops so it wasn’t boring and didn’t feel too long. The tour meeting point in Dublin was convenient and it started and ended on time/as scheduled. No complaints at all with this tour - we were very happy with it. Would definitely recommend Paddywagon over the Irish Day Tours company. Thanks Bailey and Oisin!

Terrible excperience.
Apr. 2019
What makes it worse, I did not wish to write a review, but there is no other way to make contact with Trip advisor. Over booked! Had to throw us on another coach, was not with the company that we signed up with, no AC in the bus and it was one of the warmest days in Ireland in April (according to the guide) and they dropped us off in a completely different spot than where we were picked up....this was not previously communicated to us.

When we got to our destinations, things were ok but we were rushed. Time in the bus was horrible.

Overall experience very disappointing and a waste of money. WE Deserve to have our money refunded to us!!!!

Good places, but very rushed
Feb. 2019
All around, the experience was... super-decent. It's a 9-hour tour, but due to driving times, we only got to spend ~1:30 walking around Wicklow (just long enough for the SHORTEST trail), and ~2:15 in Kilkenny, including getting food. To be fair, driving through Wicklow was also part of the experience, and was beautiful. My takeaway was that I'll have to go back to Glendalough to experience it to my satisfaction. If you go, BRING A LUNCH so you don't waste what little time you have in Kilkenny in a restaurant. Customer service and the tour guide were both great, but couldn't make up for spending about 2/3 of the time on the bus.
