Tour guide Kim and Driver Gerry!
Can’t say enough good things about you.
You guys are the TOP NOTCH Duo I’ve had given a tour yet. Kim’s warm announcement voice and knowledge of Ireland is second to none. Easy to understand for us who aren’t born to the Irish accent. Really took time and you can tell these folks love what they do and do it well!
This was our first tour of many
I learned so much but also got a taste of the warm Irish hospitality and recommended the best spots for pints and food while in Dublin.
The bus was modern and comfortable, lots of breaks so you can get food and stretch while covering so much ground.

Northern Ireland: from Belfast’s riveting history to the giants causeway walk and a bonus stop at Dunlas Castle this 13 hour tour makes a day feel so productive and really allows one to learn about irelands historical division but also just enjoy the costal bus art it’s the best of both worlds.
Now, in Belfast you have a choice of activity: Black Cab tours or Titanic museum.
If the weather is gorgeous like the day we went highly recommend the cab tour to really learn about Belfast and Irish history. The titanic museum is also gorgeous so either way you can’t go wrong.

It’s almost too hard to describe in words and justify the beauty of what you learn on the tour, but the value for a whole day tour is second to none. We are really glad we started our week long Ireland visit with your company!
We even went to the Celt for stew and a pint of Guinness after then got ice cream at Murphy’s. Magical day.

The trip was very nice! We started the day in a black taxi of Belfast, where a local taxi driver took us to the most significant murals and historical places in the city while giving some history explanations. Neverless, I would have appreciated to spend some time on our own in the city centre instead of waiting in front of the museum until for people who chose to do the Titanic visit came out. After that, we headed to Dunluce castle, where there is a magnific costline view, and the castle itself is also nice to see. At the end of the day we went to the Giants Causeway, a stunning geographic point that nobldy should miss, I highly recommend visiting it!! During all the trip our guide Connor has told us about Irish history in a really pleasant way, including jokes, interacting with the group making questions, playing music and an interesting video. He has been really helpful with any questions the group members asked him, we really appreciated that! The diver, Joe was also kind and friendly. In addition, he was always on time and made enough stops to grab some food and go to the toilet during the day. I highly recommend this trip!

This was the second of the 3 day tours we booked with Wild Rover Tours.
I was hesitant to book all 3 day tours even before trying out 1 of the tours.
My basis of booking their day tours were the reviews that I read about the company and their tours. I have read so many positive reviews. I was skeptic at first but after some thought and some more reviews I read, I went ahead and booked all 3 day tours.
With the Northern Ireland (Belfast and Giant's Causeway) day tour, we had Kim as our tour guide and was lucky enough to have Sarah again as our tour bus driver for the day. She's an excellent driver, so I was rest assured that we will be safe again on this trip. How can I say she was good? On our first day tour, we were fortunate enough to be able to get a seat at the front where we can see the road and our driver as well. I saw how great she maneuvered into tight narrow streets and avoided other vehicles or tree branches and ensured our safe journey.
Kim, our tour guide, was also very informative and shared so many great info. We learned so much during our tour.
This tour as well is great because they give you 2 hours at the Giant's Causeway. They will let you know about the 2 paths that you can take, I would suggest to take the one with the 45-minute hike. But a word of caution if you are afraid of heights as this will mean you hike up the clifftop and climb down steep stairs then hike down to the Giant's Causeway. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather while we were on the clifftop and on the trail. Rain and hale did come towards the last 15 mins of our 2 hours. The rain/hale only lasted for about 5 to 10 minutes. But we got to see a rainbow right after. So it was well worth it. It's funny how we experienced all 4 seasons in 1 day. The day tour ended with us wearing a smile on our face.

Our tour guide and driver were also nice enough to give us some recommendations on where to go to find traditional Irish food and where we can find traditional fiddle music.
I want to thank again Kim and Sarah for taking good care of us that day! Thank you so much Wild Rover Tours!

Kim and Gerry were exceptional hosts, Kim in particular was really welcoming, really knowledgeable, tentative & funny. She gave us lots of insight into the places we were stopping at and also pointed out places of interest during the coach journey. We opted for the black cab tour for our activity and that was so interesting especially if you want to learn more about Northern Ireland’s history, so really recommend that as I feel like it’s a one of experience. The causeway itself was incredible, we had ample time at each stop, allowing us to take lots of pics & explore. It was a long day however the stop broke up the day and it was so worth it. Fully recommend this tour with this company!

This tour was everything I had hoped for. I flew in to Dublin and had planned to rent a car to tour Ireland. I decided to take a tour bus to Northern Ireland because I wanted to take a Black Cab tour but did not want to drive in Belfast.
Dave was the tour guide and Paolo was our driver. The two pick-up locations were very clear. The bus was early and we were able to leave slightly early, right around 0700.
Dave gave informative and entertaining stories on the ride peppered with music by Irish bands. His accent was easy to understand. He gave clear instructions as to when and where we were to meet again at the bus.
Paolo was a careful driver and went above and beyond to make our tour special.
We reached Belfast at 0930 and were taken to a small mini mall to use the restroom and purchase food/snacks. We were then divided by tour group, Black Cab or Titanic Museum. I chose Black Cab tour (highly recommended). Afterward, the Black Cab driver dropped us off at the Titanic Museum to use the bathroom and rejoin our group on the bus.
We reached Dunluce Castle about 1250 and ambled around for about 35 minutes. We took the short ride to Giant’s Causeway.
We were instructed to meet back at the bus in two hours. This was plenty of time to walk down, take many photos, explore a short side trail and purchase a dessert at the small cafe, The Nook.
—Unfortunately I cannot recommend eating at The Nook because there were only two people working the front and the kitchen was slow. Some in our group did not get to order. That being said, my cheesecake with fresh cream (which I had to eat on the bus) was absolutely delicious. If you want to eat here during the tour, give them a good 30 minutes to prepare your food.—
We left Giant’s Causeway at 1530. It was at this point that Paolo made the executive decision to make a stop for a photo op and a stop to show us a view of Scotland and the rope bridge (which seems to have closed for good). It was an absolutely gorgeous sunny day and Scotland was clearly in view.
On the trip back we were shown a film and got recommendations for Dublin. We stopped for gas and snacks/restroom, arriving back in Dublin a little past 2000.
The only negative, and I didn’t take a star because I’m too lazy to check the listing, is that we were dropped back on O’Connell street vs my pickup point and I had to walk back to my room by myself after dark. The streets were bustling with people so I was not afraid.
It was a long day but well worth it.

First thing is that you don’t actually see the city center of Belfast, you have to choose between black cab tour or the titanic experience with no option to explore the city yourself. Second thing is the Wi-Fi, which is not working while driving through northern Ireland. Eventhough it was cold and rainy, the bus had to have A/C always on, so the windows didn’t fog up and it was very cold. So bring a jacket just for that alone. The third thing is that the bus stoped at a random restaurant for lunch and we had no other option but to pay £10 for a sandwich!!! For the cherry on top, the rope bridge was closed and there was no mention of that on their website.
I would have done this tour in the complete opposite order with belfast as the last stop and time for a meal there.

Hello George, Your review fails to mention the the "cherry on top" was a visit to Dun Luce Castle. For essential maintenance the bridge is temporarily closed to the public. This is obviously disappointing so as an alternative paid for attraction we include the Castle a very popular, stunningly picturesque and historical attraction. The touring coach is 2 years old. A cool gentle air flows through the cabin for both comfort and health reasons. The coach aircon system is fitted with a UV filtration system which kills all Covid bacteria that might be in the air. A good thing yes ? Most people need food and a drinlk during the course of a 13 hour day. If you have a problem with that there is not much to say. No one compelled you to spend £10, The information offered on the tour itinerary clearly states that during the time allotted in Belfast the options of either the Black Taxi Tour of the various conflict locations in the city visiting the two communities most affected during the toubles or a visit to the award winning Belfast Titanic Experience will be included. Whats the problem and why slag off the company for honouring what was promised? Free Wifi on board the coach, occasionally north of the border over the terrain of the Antrim glens and on the coast line the connection can sometimes can be sporadic. What 99.9% of people do in that situation is look out of the window and enjoy the scenerary. Good idea, if not for trying to be humerous which you are not. A jacket in Ireland particularly when visiting the coastal locations. George next please, good idea of yours, next time take the public bus. Regards John

Wild Rover tours - the best. We just loved our tour guide Richard and our driver Lisa. Richard was a knowledgeable guide from Northern Ireland and Lisa drove so well that I did not worry at all - even as we drove by the cliffs’ edges;). Loved the black cab tour with Pat with the hat:). Loved the Causeway, Dunluce Castle and the drive along the coast on our way home. This tour is a must.
Make sure you hike from the Causeway up the hill to the left for a great view of everything.
We brought our own food from Lidl on our trip and this made it an easier and cheaper excursion.
The WiFi was not working which was a bummer as we try to WiFi hop to save data.
May is the perfect time to tour Ireland!! We had clear weather the whole time.
Great tour!!

This was an excellent tour - Dave was an awesome tour guide and Robbie did a great job driving the bus! Highly recommend this tour and company - Dave gave us a ton of information, had a great sense of humor and we all felt like a tight group at the end of the day! Dave's love of Dublin and Ireland is infectious ~ and we appreciated his many suggestions about what and where to do things in Dublin. For those wondering about taking a bus tour, my husband and I usually stay away from them and drive ourselves, we loved our tour so much today that we booked the Galway trip for tomorrow. Thanks Dave and Robbie - happy that you are back on the road and sharing your love of your city and your country!

Safe trip in comfortable and super clean bus with a great driver, Paulo. Perfect pick up location at Starbucks which opens at 6 am. Conner, our guide, was constantly making sure everybody was comfortable and was very knowledgeable answering all questions thrown at him. The highlights of the tour were the stops at Belfast, where we had the option to either visit the interesting Titanic museum, or - as we did (and glad we did!) - enter a Black Cab with a local driver who gave a first hand account of the bloody history of the conflict between North and South, with many short but very instructive stops. We were all completely overwhelmed and still talk about this mini Belfast tour today.
After a brief bus ride we stopped at the ruins of Dunluce castle with lots of opportunities for pictures and a nice view of the coast.
Finally we arrived at the longest stop of the day to fully explore the Giant's causeway. There was enough time to walk down, take millions of fotos and hike up on the other side to arrive at a nice little restaurant (The Nook) with super-friendly staff and great food.
After that it was time to roll back to Dublin, with some stops along the coast, and a view all the way to Scotland! We watched some entertaining and informative shows on the big TV screen while Connor continued to take good care of us.
Drop off was on time and we all agreed that it was more than worth it to spend the day with Wild Rover Tours!
