Blarney Castle Day Trip from Dublin

Overview

Beyond Dublin, Ireland offers enchanting castles, ruins, and other notable landmarks, and on this day trip, you’ll see three of the country’s most popular highlights. Don’t worry about arranging trains or navigating the countryside yourself; an air-conditioned coach makes it simple to discover Blarney Castle (and the famous Blarney Stone), Cahir Castle, and the Rock of Cashel in a single day.

What to Expect
Meet your guide at a convenient location in central Dublin and hop aboard an air-conditioned coach. En route to stops at three of Ireland’s top landmarks, relax and enjoy the rolling, green scenery of County Tipperary and County Kildare, supplemented with commentary from your guide.

First, you’ll visit Blarney Castle, home to the famous Blarney Stone. Legend has it that those who climb the tower’s 127 steps to kiss the stone will earn “the gift of the gab.”

Next, head to Cahir Castle, one of the Ireland’s largest castles scenically located on a island in the River Suir.

Finally, visit Rock of Cashel, an impressive archaeological site with thousands of years of history, before returning to Dublin, where the tour ends in the evening.

No, I don't think this is a good trip with a one year old. You will narrow, slick stairs and often in a line that is slow and long. Having to hold onto a child in that atmosphere could be dangerous. You walk on uneven... More

As long as it wont spill make sure it has a lid. They do make plenty of stops to get drinks etc. Depends on bus driver too.
